it confuse's me since there is no evidence of hachi ever having a sword before. No sheath straped on his shoulder or at his waist. I'm guessing it's a metaphor to explain that his "blade" is the blocks which now is quite obvious now that I think about it, fuck i'm tired.

Since this is coming up often lately I want to point out that it was Urahara's invention that created the Vizard and high-level Arrancars. Aizen himself didn't achieve anything beyond turning Shinigami into mindless Hollows, if they survived the transformation at all.

That's not entirely true. Unless Aizen created two generations of Arrancar within the short amount of time between his defection from SS and Ichigo and crew's arrival in HM, he already had several high level Arrancar under his belt. The Privaron, including Nel, for example. As far as we know, the only Arrancar made using the Hogyoku so far was Wonderweiss, evidenced by the fact that despite his extremely young status, he's already ridiculously powerful.
I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.

when alot of that was mentioned about former espada's I got really confused since I couldn't remember a time gap happening at all in the manga .

But there were presumably Arrancar before the Hogyoku, they were just a helluva lot weaker than they were after "being powered up". Unless, presumably, Aizen did something and it broadcasted the Hogyoku's power to all of Hueco Mundo, and that's why Nel and Nnoitra went on a search for Arrancar. I always assumed they were looking for natural Arrancar to "power up" to the next level.

! Well, Like Gin, Kiba, and Hitsugaya, Shuhei was said to be a "First-Rate Genius". Plus, he's the only one that has a connection to any of the Vaizard that's here in Karakura town (Kensei). It actually doesn't surprise me that he's back up and fighting. Besides, his Shikai is pretty damn neat.
! As for the rest of the spoilers… matchups look good. Obviously, Starrk is going to require the two captains besides Shinji, so Love and Rose were obvious there. Kensei and Mashiro like to punch/kick the hell out of shit, so why not a ridiculously huge hollow and his little buddy? Lisa and Hiyori vs. Harribel... well, cat fight, but at least an interesting cat fight. And considering that Barragan looks like a grim reaper and his powers, Hachi would work well. As for who "That Guy" is, probably... Urahara or Isshin. -

Gin scares the crap of me and I think he's truly Aizen's trump card, Aizen of course is broken, Starrk is ridiculous, Barragan's untouchable because of his abilities, and Harribel is still pretty damn strong. Tousen was beaten by a weaker Zaraki way back in Soul Society, even after he used his Bankai. You think he's gonna phase Shinji in the least? I hope Shuhei kicks his face in.

let's not forget that they've got the hogyoku now and that tousen should also break the barrier, even if his 'pure' justice isn't so close with the darker side.

It takes more than just a little to be able to cut through the awesome gordian knot that is Shikai Ichigo>Ken-Chan>Tousen>Grimmjow>Bankai Ichigo and the Hollowfication shouldnt even be of any help as long as he doesnt put the mask on.
…or maybe Grimmjow's Hierro was just on vacation and he wouldve beaten the living shit out of Tousen if Aizen hadn't intervened.
