Neither did Jinbei refer to Whitebeard as his daddy nor did he whine about having trouble with his father. It's definitely something different from Ace who refers to Newgate as his only father. Hence Jinbei = Knight of the Sea while Ace = Emo-Fist.

Apparantly he beat some turtle, though about a hundred people tried to mob him when he did.” Ace placed his hands behind his head, turning to look at Luffy.

! They continued to walk through the stadium casually, ignoring the various stretchers that kept whizzing past.
! “Ace?” What looked like a charred falcon was swept past. Probably a zoan.
! “Yeah?” Ace could swear that he’d just seen Dragon lurking around the corner…
! “Is Shanks here?”
! “Probably. I heard he won against that snake from Skypiea, so he’ll be in the second round.” Ace spotted Marco, who looked slightly worse for wear. He waved at his nakama, who grinned back.
! “Cool. Where is he?”
! “…Likely getting drunk, Lu.” …Was that Gold Roger? Naah…couldn’t be.
! “Oh. So it’s a mystery.”

! “Ace~?!” The boy with the straw hat turned around, pouting. The quiet snores coming from his hunched over brother said it all, and Luffy sighed “Troublesome brother.”

! He was sure that he’d just heard his crew chorus ‘Hypocrite!’, but he ignored it, shrugging. A great shadow loomed over the teenager, who didn’t notice.
! Luffy walked back towards his brother, bouncing back when he hit a large wall that suddenly seemed to shift in front of him.
! “Hey, what’s the big deal?!”
! The ‘wall’ was silent.
! …Luffy tilted his head to the side, looking up.
! “…AHHH! IT’S YOU! BASTARD!”
! Kuma remained impassive, and subtly changed his grip on the Bible he carried as he pulled off a single glove.
! Luffy frowned, sliding a foot back to get into stance. “I’ll make you pay for hurting my nakama!”
! Kuma reached down…
! However a wall of fire paused his movements momentarily.
! “Keep your paws off my little brother.” Flames danced around the logia’s now awakened, shirtless form. He glared at the Tyrant darkly, heat radiating off him in waves.
! “Portgas D. Ace” the shichibukai muttered, turning “If you’re going on a trip, where would you like to go?”

I love Ace. I really do. Him and Luffy's adorable brotherly thing is one of my favorite things about the series. That said, I'm voting for Kuma because he is way more fucking interesting. Mysterious dude that he is. 8D
