well i started reading this new manga. Its from the Weekly Shonen Jump and it is a battle manga about a delinquent having to raise a demon baby who is destined to destroy all the humans on earth.
Beelzebub
-
-
i tried out this manga, it is pretty good, it can be the next generation of the big shonen after naruto and bleach end
-
Hmm is Vol. 1 fully scanlated?
-
This manga's nice. It's still in the beginning, so it'll be some time to see where it'll be in the long run. Right now it's a "still figuring things out" "opening arc" kinda thing.
Also, please spell the title right. It's Beelzebub, not beb.
-
I read some of it. It's alright, but I really want to see more action between the main dude and the demon king's nurse or maid or whatever she is.
-
Seems like that's what's gonna happen after what happened at the end of the last chapter on One Manga.
I've always enjoyed delinquent stories, and this is an odd riot so far. I hope it continues like this.
-
no offence but i read it and it seemed kindof stupid but the baby looks like zoro a little and the main char looks a little like train heartnet from black cat its the hair a little either that or i'm seeing things

bad post.
this is probably gonna be one of my favorite JUMP series for some time, as long as it doesn't lose what it had during the first couple of chapters. Dont sacrifice the humor for action.
-
yeah the kid kinda resembles Zoro, but the story is no where near One Piece, i'm thirsty for some Oga vs Demon action
-
Recently picked this up, I'm liking it but I will remain cautious.
It definitely has potential, but to call it the next Naruto/Bleach is IMO an overestimate. Those two (and OP) had cultural themes which made them popular on an international level.
Beelzebeb can be the next big delinquent series, not sure if that's the right name for the genre but think stuff like GTO and its prequel.
-
Beelzebub got a color page for issue 22-23. It's really getting a ton, it just got one this week, now another one two weeks later. It seems to be a hit.
I really hope someday soon a mod or somebody fixes the title of this thread so it's spelled right. "Beelzebub"
-
reminds me a bit of early yu yu hakusho, but what i really like is how the guy fights with the beelzebub clinging to his back.
-
damn Zoro's past revealed!! nah jkz
the new chapter was pretty good
Hilda was pretending after all -
Just finished chapter 10.
It's fucking awesome, laughed at every page of it lol -
nekkid baby is awesome baby
Man, I forgot about this manga - still funny. Hope it stays that way.
-
Somehow remember there was another thread on this… or maybe that's another forum I go to
Anyways, the latest developement (chap 11) is, interesting to say the least~
-
I have really enjoyed this so far. It will be interesting to see what twists and turns happen down the road.
-
I've read the chapter 11 just now.lol that baby pwned beelzebub.Ending was good too.
-
I've just read it yesterday and couldn't help it but read all 12 chapters, its funny and has potential :D will keep an eye on it as long as it keeps on being funny LOL
-
Just read the new chapter still very funny, I'm really liking this series. It has a feel of yuyu hakusho and death note put together. I hope we see some cool fights coming soon.
-
Rrrrrreally good manga, when ignoring the naked baby. Neat chapter.
-
Yeah I agree with ZoroX, this has a very early Yuyuhakusho vibe. Like the first few volumes before he became on par with Demon Gods. Loving this series so far.
-
At first I didn't want to read this than I thought hell it's only 13 chapters in so far might as well give it a shot and I got to say that i'm loving it so far.
-
I loved the start of it "Once upon a time there was cool, handsome guyt who was the most popular guy around"
Great humour in it along with an interesting story, this could end up being quite the popular manga.
-
haha, weird chick is back
-
It's good so far, but i can see how it would stand the test of time? maybe it will be pretty short? but yea, like it so far.
-
I just read Chapter 1, pretty good. I haven't read Yu Yu Hakusho, but this reminds me of the start of Bleach, the first bunch of chapters make you think it's going to take place in a city, but it can really change to a whole different setting. they're also both legendary tough guys that find some new spiritual world.
it also reminds me of Zatch Bell (specifically the art in the scene with the old man in the river). Also, both are punks who get some weird demon kid with lightning attacks. They're also both hilarious.
-
the "park debut" is by far the funniest scene in this series.
-
It definitely has potential, but to call it the next Naruto/Bleach is IMO an overestimate. Those two (and OP) had cultural themes which made them popular on an international level.
LoL and what cultural themes are these?
Before saying Bleach holds any sort of depth, consider this; Kubo said the story originally revolved around snipers. The moment he was commisioned he changed his mind, gave them all swords, made them shinigami and decided to use copious whites, thereby taking inspiration for the title, "Bleach".
Cultural themes my arse.
Naruto I don't need to say, with its hamfisted attempt at dealing with issues surrounding world peace and general all-round faggotry.
-
Let's get back to this.. I like this series… I haven't laughed reading manga like this for a while since GTO.
-
was she using a sword or was that just a plain old wooden sword???
-
Was a wooden sword. This week's ending was again so funny, I loved the expression on her face.
-
lol they will both be notorious if she accepts…
-
Yes. Say. Yes. Please.
-
I love the fact he now has the nickname "child carrying oga".
-
Felt short this week though.
Oh, well.
-
Always feels short when it's so funny. I almost cracked up when the baby was deciding whether it remembered her.
-
That was a neat chapter not only are the fights good but it's funny, the baby makes it even more hilarious.
-
I hope she really takes the baby so now it'll be Hilda x Aoi. Let's face it, Oga is an awesome protagonist, but nothing would be able to beat that kind of hot action. ;p
-
Fuck off with your pairings garbage.
-
I'm going to laugh my ass off if she says "yes" next week
-
I got to admit that the baby does remind me of Zoro. Baby Marimo that's awesome. Although what I love the most about this manga is Oga's "dead fish" eyes.
I kinda like Aoi and I wonder what she's going to answer.
Thank god for good humor manga.
-
@Massacre:
Fuck off with your pairings garbage.
Lol, I was implying lesbianism between two hot characters more then I was a pairing.
-
Aoi is hot but I don't find hilda to be all that attractive
-
I'm loving this but the only thing i'm worried about is what is the author going to do after Oga is finished beating the crap out of the delinquents, he can't keep repressing baby bl's power forever and if he gives in then the world is over.
-
In the end, He'll probably have to fight baby BL! Gah! I can't wait for the next chapter! Need to see what Aoi will say.
-

Bleach = Samurai
Naruto = Ninja
One Piece = PiratesSimple, yet attractive for a foreign audience.
And judging by a few of your posts, you do seem to have something stuck in your arse. Relax and leave the basement once in a while IMO.
-
-
And yet it fails at this
No doubt about that. In fact, one can argue all 3 fail in this regard.
But there's no denying that these elements they associate themselves with in the first place played a part in the series' self-identification and attracted foreign audience.
-
This is legendary
Cheers for posting this, definitely going to read this weekly
Is there a site or forum for this yet?
Seriously though this Manga is just epic!
