Aw darn man this was a really good story but I completely understand why you have to end it.
Thanks for writing a very enjoyable tale!
Good luck in the future.

Chapter One-Hundred-Forty-Eight: Genesis and Revelation
The scene is a deserted island in the New World. Once a fairly populated island, it is not a trashed icy wasteland. It is the scene of many epic tragedies and victories: Yuki Island.
It was snowing on Yuki Island. A calm, silent snow that gave soft pits and pats as it touched the ground and formed with the rest of the ice. The sky was black, covered with snowy clouds, the water surrounding the island slightly shaky and cold.
Sitting upon a rock on the edge of the island was a Vice Admiral, Aokiji. He looked very, very weary, but he was still awake. His unmoving eyes looked out at the darkness of the horizon. He was remembering what he saw. His arms were back and better than ever, but his more minor injuries remained, tingling every now and then.
Aokiji looked to his right for a moment, viewing a small boy shivering in the snow, nothing but a ragged old jacket covering his bare arms. His teeth were rattling, his misty breath hovering above him for a few seconds. He was looking down at the snow, a rather unemotional face. It was little Anon.
Just as Aokiji was going to turn back towards the dark blue ocean, a glint caught his eye. He gave a little sigh, and spun around on the slippery ice to see the man who was only a few meters behind him. "It's… mediocre of you to sneak up on people," muttered Aokiji, raising an eyebrow.
The man standing here was none other than Dragon, leader of the Revolutionaries and the main force against the World Government. He stood there, a large smile on his face. He was wearing a dark green cloak which covered his entire body. It blew steadily in the cool wind, but it seemed as if Dragon had no care about it.
"Who says I was sneaking up, Aokiji?" asked Dragon, slowly walking towards the Admiral. Each step left a firm imprint in the snow behind him, along with a slight crunch. He then stopped, slowly pulling back his hood to show his face.
Aokiji gave a small frown, his eyes turning to look at Anon, who seemed to be trying to hide in the snow. He could still, however, clearly be seen.
"What do you want?" asked Aokiji, his eyes turning back to Dragon. "I don't feel like getting into any kind of fight right now..."
Dragon shook his head, showing his white teeth. "I'm not here to fight either. I'm actually surprised you're even here, Aokiji. I'm only here to stop Pluton.. However, I see this island intact and the weapon nowhere."
Aokiji gave a little nod. "Wondering what happened I guess, right? You had Revolutionaries and your son on this island, so I can see why you would be worried.."
"Exactly," said Dragon as the snow picked up. "What happened?"
Aokiji sighed, feeling rather lazy at the moment. He truly didn't want to go over the situation. And so, as quickly and as simply as he could say it, he told what happened.
"The government is lazier than me, so I was the only one who showed up to fight Pluton. The Mugiwaras and those two Revolutionaries popped up. In the end, that kid of yours blew Ei and the ship up. Last I saw they were sailing off on their own ship."
Dragon chuckled, taking a seat on a snowy rock of his own. He looked out at the ocean. There he could imagine Luffy taking down Pluton all on his own. He then looked back at Aokiji. "That was certainly a nice summary."
"The world is going downhill," said Aokiji suddenly. "Pluton arrives and the government does nothing... The revolutionaries are everywhere... pirates like that Mugiwara kid are taking control of the seas.."
Dragon smiled, standing back up. "It's what Roger wanted," he said loudly. "All is going to his plan."
Aokiji stood up as well, flexing his fingers, glad to have feeling back in them. He walked over towards the little boy, pulling him out of the snow. He muttered something to him, something about going to a safe place. He then turned back towards Dragon. "The government... Is rather lazy.. They need people like me if they want to keep going."
Dragon smiled, nodding. "Of course. I expect nothing different."
Just before Aokiji was about to step upon the shore, walking on ice he would make himself, he turned back towards Dragon. "And your plans?"
Dragon lifted his hood back up, covering up his face so only a faint shadow remained. "Heh, you'll see... Now that Pluton is out of the way... We have a surprise."
There was a sudden strike of lightning, illuminating everything in a tint yellow color, and Dragon was gone. Aokiji smirked, then began walking across the ocean, heading back to the Marine HQ.
"WHAT!?"
Aokiji gave a flustered sigh, laying back in his chair, his heels tapping against the tiled flooring. The scene was Mariejoa, the central base for the World Government. Currently, in the main meeting room, sat a few rather important people, all gathered for Aokiji's report.
The first was Aokiji himself, who was laying back in a chair. His face looked bored, almost deathly. It had been a few days, but Aokiji had finally gotten around to reporting to his higher ups.
The second was Sengoku himself, Fleet Admiral, the second highest authority in the world. He looked absolutely amazed, but somewhat fearful as well. He was sitting at the end of a rather long table, but was now on his feet. His small goat at his side gave a little bah, but nothing more.
At his right, sitting solemnly while going through an assortment of messy papers, was Sengoku's main advisor, Tsuru. Although she didn't show it on her face, she was taking in every word.
The next three people were Shichibukai. The first was Doflamingo, who had his leg crossed and a broad smile on his face. He seemed to be taking the news very easily, almost as if everything that was happening was a good thing. The second was Mihawk, who said not a word. The third was an emotionless Kuma, sitting solemnly with his bible.
Next was the second Admiral, Akainu. His long, ragged red hair lay flowing over his forehead and in front of his eyes. He gave many chuckles, tapping his fingers on the armrest of the chair in beat with Aokiji's tapping.
Lastly, the five Gorosei, the leaders of the world, sat in their assortment of find chairs, staring curiously over at the conversation.
"You act so surprised," muttered Aokiji.
"Of course!" shot back Sengoku viciously. He gave a deep sigh, sitting back in his chair. "This is terrible news... After that event, the entire world is going to want an answer. And built upon our other troubles..."
Sengoku quickly grabbed a piece of paper from Tsuru, lifting it up to read. "Our Shichibukai continue to fail... First Crocodile throws himself into trouble, and then Moria gets defeated, and now Ei, the man with one of the highest bounties... All by the same person!"
"Monkey D. Luffy?" asked Akainu, his red flowing hair swaying from his eyes for just a moment. "Hehe, what a little trouble, right?"
Sengoku then pulled out another piece of paper. "Not only that, but our Admiral, Kizaru, the Yellow Monkey, is dead, and we have yet to find a replacement for her."
"Look on the bright side," muttered Aokiji. "We got rid of one of the Yonkou, Kaidou."
Sengoku slammed his fist on the table, rattling it. "What the hell are you talking about!? That wasn't even my original plan. I did not want to get people like the Yonkou in this... My plan was for the Revolutionaries to be defeated, not this.. Instead, the Revolutionaries walk out like it's nothing.."
"Kiss and Pandaman," said Tsuru, suddenly speaking up. Everyone looked towards her. "Those were the two Revolutionaries at Yuki Island. "According to our information, they're both A class Revolutionaries, the best of the best.. It's not a surprise they escaped unharmed.. Dragon sent the right people."
Sengoku sighed. "But ultimately.. It was the Mugiwaras who destroyed Pluton, not the Revolutionaries... That pirate boy... He's gotten away from us much too long... It's time we finally put a stop to this.. Doflamingo."
Doflamingo looked over at Sengoku, as if just noticing he was in a meeting.
"You're the most capable," continued Sengoku. "I want you to compose a team. Anyone you wish can join you. Your goal is to destroy Monkey D. Luffy."
Doflamingo chuckled at this, laying back again. "Ah, is that all? All I have to do is take out the Mugiwara kid? Haha, sure sure." He then stood up, kicking his chair out of his way. "My team.. like I need a team! Hahah. If I must though.. Any Shichibukai who wants to tag along, be my guest.."
"Then you're out of luck," said Mihawk, his piercing yellow eyes looking at Doflamingo. "Neither I nor Kuma will join you. Moria is currently a prisoner, only holding the Shichibukai role for the public. Jenbei is a traitor, for we know now he assisted the Mugiwaras. And Blackbeard.. We haven't even heard from him since he was made a Shichibukai."
Doflamingo bursted out laughing, walking past them all, heading for the exit. "Like that's my problem.. Like I said, I'll do this myself if I got to. Won't take a sweat."
"Hold on."
Doflamingo turned around, his smiling fading a little. "Heh, so you want to tag along?"
Akainu stood, grinning as he walked towards Doflamingo. "Sure. I would like to meet these fellows."
"Akainu," called out Sengoku, causing Akainu to pause and turn in his direction. "Do not fail. We cannot afford to loose yet another Admiral. If you do not return... 'That man' will certainly attack us."
Akainu smiled, but said not a word. They left.
The scene is a the large Thousand Sunny, sailing smoothly across rather calm, unusual waters. The sun was out, shining brightly over the scene. The clouds were few, and the breeze steady. The emotion on the ship, however, was not so great.

On the ship was Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Robin, Chopper, Franky, and Brook. Facing them was Kiss and Pandaman. The two missing crew members, Luffy and Zoro, were inside the cabin healing and resting from the horrible wounds they had gotten previously.
"You can't be serious," said Nami, her eyes blank. "I'm sure… Luffy wouldn't mind."
Kiss shrugged, smiling. Her long, blonde hair lay flat, some falling on her pinkish face. A bandaid covered a cheek. A smile. "I'm sorry," she said again. "But I'm no pirate. I'm a revolutionary. I have to go back to base where Dragon is."
Pandaman, who was standing at her side, gave a large nod. "That's right," he said sternly. "We came here only by direct orders from Dragon. Destroy Pluton, protect the Mugiwaras. Now that we have finished that mission, we will be returning to get our next."
The crew sighed, understanding there was no fighting against this woman. They would certainly miss her, but they understand and had to accept it. "Alright," they all said in unison.
Kiss chuckled, smiling. "Don't worry, I'm sure we'll meet again one day. Good luck."
She then used her ability, and transformed into Kuma. Once in this form she grabbed a hold of Pandaman, and vanished away in a second. She was gone, heading back to her base, back to her leader.
"I'm going to die, huh?"
"No, you're not going to die."
"That's funny."
On the coast, abandoned island sat a deep, underwater cave. Usually, caves at such depths would be bleak and cold, completely dark due to the lack of available sunlight. However, this cave in particular was rather bright.
The cave was composed of bright, green crystals, all jutting from the ground and the side of the walls, ending in razor sharp edges. The crystals were beautiful, giving the entire cave a ghostly green tint, but very strange as well. A single path, where no crystals sat, was available, going down the center of the cave and into it's furthest depths.
At the end of this bright cave sat a throne. However, this throne, although it was made of the same crystal, was chipped, and shattered. What remained could hardly be called a throne at all. However, the man he sat upon continued to name it so.
The man who sat upon that throne was none other than the Wonder Creator, Mugiwara D. Era. He had a little frown on his face, his dazzling eyes lazily looking down at his chest. He sighed.
The man who stood in front of him was an old, stubby like man. He was chained to the ground in front of Era's throne, chained by the arms and legs, so that he could not move at all. He seemed weak and ill. His hair was stringy and long, laying across his face so that one could barely see his eyes. His clothes were in scraps.
Era smiled, looking at the old man. "I am not going to die, you say?"
The old man shook his head, as if he desperate to get the chance to say anything positive about Era. "Oh, of course not Mr. Dark! You couldn't die, not at all! You're much too strong!"
Era chuckled, showing off his sharp teeth. He then looked back down at his chest. "Ko had my hands... Now that he is gone, the ones I have now are weak. Fable had my mind. Now that he has perished, I feel sleepy. Melody had my eyes. Without them, my sight is blurry."
The old man tried to smile. "B-but don't you have those other two still alive?"
Era looked up at the old man, then viciously kicked him in the face, sending him crashing to the ground and bleeding. He then sighed, smiling. "That's right. I still have my heart, which my dear trickster Kiss holds. And I still have my soul, which Reiku holds."
"R-Reiku," muttered the bleeding old man, still trying to say things to please Era. "He is a wonderful person, right?"
Era looked down at the man, then stood up, standing on his skull, starting to crush it. "Reiku is not only a wonder. He is a Deadly Akuma as well. That of Greed. He is.. very dangerous. But he is strong as well, which is why I trust him to keep my soul. As long as he stays alive, so will I."
"P-p-please... Mr. Dark... Aaah.." muttered the old man under the pressure of Era.
Era looked down, frowning, then jumped off, leaving the old man gasping in pain. He smiled at it. "I will need a new one soon. Someone to talk to.. Hehe, you're the one who's going to die now, right?"
The man twitched a little, his eyes starting to close. He died.
Era smiled. "That one was only fourteen years old... Maybe I should get a younger one. It should survive longer, hopefully."
"Era."
Era stopped, his eyes narrowing. He slowly turned towards the cave entrance, hearing a rather familiar voice. He smiled a little. "What do you want?" He turned completely, facing a beautiful woman
"I'm ready if you're ready," said Kiss, grinning evilly.
Era smiled, chuckling. "Oh really? So soon?" Before Kiss opened her mouth to speak further, he raised a hand to stop her. He then led to her to a seat, which was also chipped and broken, and Kiss at pleasantly.
Era then made his way to his throne, taking his own seat. "Now tell me, my dear, is it done?"
Kiss nodded, smiling. "Yes. Ei is dead. I have gained Luffy's trust with my fictional past. The Yonkou Kaidou is dead. I have seen the destruction of Pluton."
Era chuckled, his eyes slightly twitching. "Wonderful. And what of Dragon?"
"Dragon suspects nothing. They are all completely unaware."
"Good, good."
Mugiwara D. Era stood up, striding across the shining floor. "Then that only means one thing."
Kiss watched Era's smooth glide, smiling calmly, her eyes half closed.
"Genesis can start."
Kiss grinned.
The scene is the base of the Revolutionaries. It's raining, storming. Lightning continues to fly across the sky, lighting it up for only a second before vanishing away again. It's cold.
On the shore is a small boat, which holds two people: Kiss and Pandaman. They had, after using most of their energy to teleport to the location, decided to ride a small boat the rest of the way there. They were now at the docks, weary and tired.
Pandaman hoped off the boat onto the deck with a small thud. He then turned around to see Kiss still sitting in the boat, a blank face spread across her.
"Oi, Kiss, are you okay?"
Kiss then snapped back into reality, and looked over at Pandaman, nodding. "Oh, right," she said, smiling. She pulled herself out of the boat and onto the docks. The moment she stepped on the deck, however, Dragon bursted through the doors, of the central building, swiftly walking to the two of them smiling.
"Kiss, Pandaman. Welcome home."
They nodded, smiling, and walked with him towards the building.
"You did a wonderful job," he said to both of them, leading the way. "I know you two must be tired, and you deserve a good rest. And you will get your rest. However, when you feel you're ready, our final mission will start."
Kiss and Pandaman froze, looking at each other. They then looked at Dragon, who was smiling. "You're serious?" they both asked.
Dragon stopped, turning around and looking at them. He brought lifted up his cloak, covering his face. "Of course. It's time to move. Mission Revelation is ready. Roger's plan is finally ready."
The rain grew harder.
"What the hell... This island completely sucks!"
Quia shivered, trudging through the icy snow of Yuki Island. Ice cycles hung from his nose.
"There are houses, but they're all empty! And the mountains.. it looked like they came alive and then died! This island is completely stupid.. It doesn't help me at all..."
He reached his rugged, old boat again, and hoped into it, pushing himself off the shore and setting sail. "Mugiwaras... I'll find you soon enough.."

Chapter One-Hundred-Forty-Nine: Stormy News
"Eh, what's going on?" muttered Luffy, who had been awaken by his fellow crew mate Sanji. He was sleeping in the medical hall, and still had an assortment of bandages over his arms and legs. Although it had been almost a week, Luffy still had a lot of wounds from his fight with Ei. He stumbled to his feet, blinking, trying to get awake. "Huh?"
Sanji frowned, grabbing Luffy's arm and dragging him himself. He said something, but Luffy was still half asleep and couldn't understand it at all. Eventually, Sanji led him out of the cabins of the Thousand Sunny.
"What's up?" muttered Luffy, finally getting his eyes adjusted to the light of morning. Surprisingly, the light wasn't as strong as he had anticipated. It was actually rather cloudy. What he saw was his entire crew standing up and looking out at sea. They seemed to be in fine shape, and the ship itself hadn't took any damage either, even though the storms the last week had been extra harsh.
But it wasn't what was on the Happy Tuesday that set the entire crew. It was what was beyond them. In the wide, eerie, dark blue ocean that lay in front of them was scattered hundreds upon hundreds of marine battle ships. A top theses many ships were dead men, most who looked like they had been taken out by a single move.
It was a ghostly, almost a scary sight. It didn't help that in the distance rain could be seen, along with huge surges of lightning flying across the sky. The bleakness and the mist that surrounded everything seemed to wrap up the entire sea.
"W-what happened," muttered Brook, his jaw dropped, literally. "All… these ghost ships... Remind me of.."
Franky jumped onto the railing of the ship, looking out at the chaos and destruction. His eyes, however, were paying more attention to the actual ships than anything else. Most of them had been severely slashed up, some of the with huge gaping holes in the side which was constantly letting in water.
"They've been recently attacked," observed Franky. With this in mind, he looked straight down, right below the Thousand Sunny. There, just as he thought, were even more previously sunken ships. "What kind of crew attacked these guys?"
Robin shook her head. "No... A crew didn't attack these marines.. The marines attacked the crew."
Somewhat confused, part of the crew looked towards Robin to understand more of what she meant. As she did, the other part of the crew, mainly Zoro and Franky who were overall uninterested in this discussion, scanned the horizon for a sign of whatever caused such horrendous damage.
"Don't you see?" continued Robin. "There would usually be no reason for such a large number of marines to gather, unless they were targeting someone. They obviously attacked a rather strong opponent, and did not think through it all."
"Also," she continued, pointing a finger straight forward. "There is a marine base just upon the horizon. That is probably where a portion of these ships came from."
Luffy frowned, bending over the edge of the ship and examining all of the ships. No one expected what happened next. A huge ray of light shot across the water at torrential speeds, either blasting through or sending every destroyed marine battle ship in it's way in the opposite direction. This huge ray of light slammed right into the Thousand Sunny. More precisely, right through Luffy.
The blast, after cutting Luffy in half, had crashed onto the mast of the Thousand Sunny. Even though it was made of some of the strongest wood in the world, it cracked under the pressure.
"LUFFY!!" yelled out the crew, their jaws dropped at the sight of only a lower body Luffy. Luffy then suddenly popped up, gasping for air. "Phew," said Luffy. "That was close."
"You can do that!?" yelled out Usopp, pointing.
"Oi, I should take a picture!" exclaimed Brook, opening his skull and pulling a camera out.
"That's still strange!" shot Usopp towards Brook, who chuckled.
"MY SHIP!!" yelled Franky at the top of his lungs, his arm reaching out towards the shattered Mast, which was about to fall any minute. "How did this happen!?" He ran towards the mast, instantly starting to repair it, although it wasn't doing very good.
All the crew, after regaining their sight from the bright blast, stood on their toes looking out as far as they could in the distance. All they saw was the marine base, which was smoking and destroyed.
"Wait," said Zoro, instinctively grabbing the hilt of his sword. His eyes slowly crossed the surface of the ocean, looking out for any sight of movement. "There is something down there," he muttered.
Luffy frowned, not seeing a single thing in the water but the remnants of sunken battle ships. "I don't see--!!"
A huge blast of surf was shot in the air nearly a mile high, followed by the water raining down on everyone as if a storm had just started. Everyones eyes shot to where it happened, just a few battle ships away. There, they saw a huge, massive hand reach out of the blue depths, grabbing a hold of a battle ship.
The mass of whatever this was slowly pulled itself out of the water. The storm had arrived, and the horrid rains and thunder clouds had concealed the sun, leaving only a few streams of light down on the scene to assist with observation.
Whoever this person was, he was out of the water, and was standing on a wrecked battle ship. It was no apparent by it's silhouet that it was indeed a man, but whoever it was, he was much, much larger than any normal human. A flash of lightning cut through the sky, and for an instant, everyone received a glance of who this man was.
"Whitebeard..." muttered Robin. The entire crew looked in amazement.
It was indeed Whitebeard. But this wasn't the casual, every day kind of Whitebeard that is usually seen relaxing on one of his many ships. This was a full blown serious Whitebeard. His face was sweating, his eyes dark and piercing. His muscles were tense, his clothes ripped. A few tubes from his regular medicine still lay attached to his arm, waving in the rough winds. He grinned, chuckling.
"Gurararara," Whitebeard smiled. He reached down, and swiftly pulled his weapon of choice out of the water. It was a bisento. The weapon was mainly made up of a thick curved blade attached to a wooden pole. Whitebeard spun this in his hand a little before pointing it forward, towards the destroyed marine base in the distance.
"W-what's he doing?" muttered both Chopper and Usopp in unison, hiding behind Zoro for a sense of protection. "Eeeh?"
"I don't even know why he's here," said Sanji, who had already dropped his cigarette.
"It's because this is the New World," said Robin, crossing her arms and watching the giant beast which was Whitebeard. "Think about it...We were told what to expect. The New World is a place ruled by the Yonkou, the Emperors. This is their realm..."
"But," said Franky, not understanding something. "Why would the government send in so many people to a sea like this?"

( Continued from Previous Post )
"That's what I'm not getting either," said Robin, nodding in Franky's direction. "This sea… It's pointless to send such small ships and weak marines.. It's certain death.." Robin's eyes then shot back up to Whitebeard, as if she suddenly realized something. "Unless one of 'them' are here."
"Them?" asked Franky, looking at the sea after Robin had so quickly turned her attention there.
"A Shichibukai," she said.
Whitebeard laughed loudly. He had still not realized the Mugiwaras behind him, but seemed to be more concerned with someone or something else in the distance. "Gurararara! So, I managed to trap you there, eh, bear?"
"Bear," said Robin quickly. "That can only mean..."
Whitebeard lifted up his bisento high in the air, right over his head. The long blade glinted in the small hints of sunlight, streaming it across Whitebeard's angered, but blood lusted face. He then brought the bisento slamming forward, crashing hard into the water and creating a huge surge of cutting power.
"Cyclone Jet!"
Suddenly, the ocean itself opened up. The cutting force Whitebeard had produced had been strong enough to fly across the water, ripping anything in it's path. Finally, it crashed directly into the island where the marine base was. A huge explosion erupted the entire sea, the shockwave enough to send Usopp and Chopper flying backwards.
After the dust cleared, there was no more island.
"Gurararara!!" laughed out Whitebeard, pumping his bisento high in the air. "How do you like that ya damn bear!!"
Whitebeard's enjoyment was short-lived, for soon after a second blast of golden light, pure destructive energy, shot across the air, slamming hard into Whitebear's side. Whitebeard hadn't expected it, and thus took the blast full force, causing him to fly across the water's edge and crash through multiple marine ships.
"Wow!" yelled out the crew, amazed. Their eyes shot across the water to see where this attack had come from.
It was Kuma, who was standing atop the headpiece of a sinking ship. Unlike Whitebeard, Kuma did not look injured at all. It was probably due to the fact he was part machine, though. "Whitebeard... You're not getting away this time, I'm afraid." He flexed his fingers, a horrid screeching sound erupting from them.
Whitebeard frowned, spitting up a little blood. He pulled himself to his feet again, looking down at his injured side and cursing. He then looked back up at Kuma. "So, ya damn bear," he muttered. "You just escaped the island huh? You're not so bad for a Shichibukai..."
Whitebeard then grinned, laughing. He held his bisento with both hands and dashed right towards Kuma. "But to say I won't win... That's impossible!! I'm the Whitebeard!!"
Kuma kept his grim looking frown, and jumped off the ship he was on at amazing speeds. Due to his Akuma no Mi, the Paw Paw fruit, he was able to push himself in any direction with amazing speed. In an instant, the two forces clashed.
Whitebeard, with all his power, slashed downwards, the thick metal blade of his bisento ripping heavily through Kuma's metal body, right from his shoulder downwards. Kuma, quickly, attempted to jump out of the way, but it was too late.
Kuma's air flew across the air, crashing down into the water surrounding and sinking. Whitebeard then went on, in an instant, in a blunt attack, slamming the wooden part of his bisento into Kuma's chest, sending him flying into the water as well.
Whitebeard chuckled, huffing and holding the wound on his side.
"Woooooow!" half the crew yelled out, amazed at Whitebeard's fighting abilities and pure power. Whitebeard caught this in his ear, and quickly spun around, holding his bisento pointing in the Mugiwaras direction. He then eased up when he gained sight of who it was. "Ooooh?"
Usopp, Chopper, and Brook had fainted, both falling over from the fear of getting pointed at by Whitebeard's weapon. The others looked onwards, still amazed. Luffy, however, seemed to be the only one who could speak, and his words were quite off subject.
"Oh!" yelled out Luffy, smiling. "I got a letter from you, from your brother!" Luffy quickly took off his straw hat, reaching in and pulling out a small sheet of paper. It was the same paper that Luffy had gotten from Sharpbeard way back at Impel Down.
He tossed it promptly to Whitebeard, who caught it easily. He looked at it, no reading it, frowning. "From my brother, eh? Sharpbeard?"
"Yep!" smiled Luffy. "He told me to give it to you once I found you."
Whitebeard tossed it away, letting it fall into the water and sink. "Not interested. If he wants to talk to me, he'll talk to me face to face. That's how I do things."
Luffy had been instantly enraged. He slammed his fist against the railing, almost causing it to break, much to Franky's horror. "What the hell did you just say!?" he shouted. "He protected us, and saved us! I can't just let you throw away a message like that!"
Whitebeard frowned, sitting down on the wrecked ship which was waving softly. "Calm down kid," he muttered. "You get angry too easily.." He then ripped off a piece of his shirt, wrapping it around his wound. "You guys... I think I've heard some stories about you.. The Mugiwaras, right?"
"Y-yeah," muttered Nami, feeling somewhat strange that the strongest man in the world knew about them. "But wait, what's exactly going on here!? Why were you fighting that Shichibukai!?"
"Does it matter anymore?" muttered Zoro, he looked somewhat ashamed. Whitebeard had cut the man Zoro couldn't even scratch. "He's defeated now..."
Whitebeard looked up, frowning. "Eh? Defeated? Garuru, far from it.. This makes the sixth time I've ripped that damn bear's arms off. He just keeps coming back... Next time I see him, though, I'm gonna really finish it.."
"W-wait," said Nami, sighing. "That's not really the point... We need to know what's going on around here? Why are... all these battle ships just laying around here destroyed?"
Whitebeard raised an eyebrow, staring at the crew. "You pirates really don't have a clue what's going on at this sea, huh?... Well, I guess be caught in that storm that passed over the last week, you would have missed a lot..."
He reached in his pocket and quickly pulled out a newspaper, one that was regularly delivered but Nami hadn't gotten one due to the storm. "Catch," he said, throwing it to them. Nami quickly caught it and looked at the front page. Although it was slightly torn and wet, it was still very readable.
"No way.." muttered Nami, her jaw dropping as everyone else crowded around to see it as well.
Whitebeard chuckled. "You see now? The revolutionaries have started their grand attack against the government! The world is at chaos! A great war has started!"

Chapter One-Hundred-Fifty: The Mugiwara's Last Stand
The last few days for the Mugiwaras had been insane. To start with, they had gotten caught in a horrible storm between islands for near an entire week. When they did finally emerge from the typhoon, they found themselves in a graveyard of ships. To make matters even more crazy, they had witnessed the Yonkou Whitebeard fight the Shichibukai Kuma in a one on one fight, leading to Kuma's defeat.
After this, Whitebeard informed the Mugiwaras on what exactly that had missed. A war was going on against every power in the world, all because of a single movement by the Revolutionaries. Some kind of plan was going on, a plan the Revolutionaries called Revelation. The government instantly retaliated by sending marines off to fight the Revolutionaries before their plan could fully go into action. The chaos led the Government to also send all available Shichibukai to fight the Yonkou, to eliminate them before they got involved in the Revolutionaries plan.
The problem was, the Shichibukai were almost gone as it was. Kuma had just been defeated by Whitebeard. Ei died not long ago by his own weapon. Jenbei had been caught a traitor when he assisted the Mugiwaras to the New World. Moria was no longer a Shichibukai. Blackbeard hadn't been seen since he first became a Shichibukai. Mihawk did not get involved. And Doflamingo was going after Luffy. The Shichibukai were basically no longer existent.
The Admirals, the government's second defense, was also vanishing. Kizaru had vanished, thought to be dead. Aokiji was doubting the government more and more. And Akainu was currently with Doflamingo going after Luffy.
The defenses were falling for the World Government.
"There is something else you should now," said Whitebeard, turning around and facing the horizon where only a decimated marine base sat. "Beyond you are two paths. And you've reached the road where you must make a decision!"
Luffy had gotten bored with the talk about the world war, but his ears perked up when Whitebeard started talking about things of adventure again. He smiled, chuckling.
"Wait," interrupted Nami before Whitebeard could say anymore. "Shouldn't we be doing something about this war? I mean, we are pirates, and the pirates are involved!"
"No way!" shouted out Luffy. "I didn't become a pirate to go fight some war! None of that sounds fun at all. I just want to be the Pirate King!"
"But Luffy," started Nami again, but she knew she would get nowhere. Luffy had decided, and they would not get involved in the war.
Whitebeard chuckled. "You all should listen!" he said in his bellowing voice. He pointed onwards. "Do you really want to know why no man except Roger ever made it to Raftel? It's because of this place!"
The Mugiwaras listened on, still confused at what he was getting at. It was a mystery as to why no one, in over 20 years, ever made it to Raftel. What was it about this dark sea that prevented them from moving forward?
"Garuru," chuckled Whitebeard. "The reason, I'll tell you know!" He pointed towards the marine base. "You see that old base? That's the place where your paths will split!"
"W-what!?" yelled out the crew, surprised at what he said. First of all, it made no sense. Second of all, what was the cause? So many questions, and all the answers were right in front of them.
"You heard me," continued Whitebeard. "That marine base will end your crew. You'll have to split up and continue the rest of the Grand Line on your own! No crew can exist beyond that point! If you continue on together… the consequence you all will have to face will be unbearable!"
The crew, even Nami, had almost forgotten about the war at these words. What was he talking about? The crew.. would have to split up? "What is that consequence?" asked Nami cautiously.
Whitebeard's wide grin suddenly became dull. He looked back at the crew. Time seemed to slow for just a moment. "The same thing that happened to Roger... You captain will die."
The crew froze in their place. That single sentence seemed to echo in their minds continuously with no sign of stopping. The words were not true in their minds, but deep inside, they could feel that it was completely real. Suddenly, time returned: The crashing of the water against the ship, the far off thunder, the occasional strike of lightning.
"Garururu!" laughed out Whitebeard. "That face, it was just like Roger's crew when I told them! For years... over 800 years.. that curse covers the sea from this point forward!"
"So you're saying.." started Luffy, clenching his fists.
"That you'll have to end your crew now if you want to live!" said Whitebeard, crossing his arms. "That's the way it is!"

Luffy didn't say a word at first, or even move. Only the steady strong gusts of wind caused his hair and clothes to perform some sort of rhythmic beat. He then looked up, his face somewhat blank, towards his crew. They looked back at him, unsure on what to say or do.
"We're not splitting up!" shouted out Luffy, looking straight at Whitebeard with determined eyes. And then, suddenly, all that passion vanished. He looked back at his crew again. "But we're not staying together anymore either."
The crew was shocked, their eyes wide at their captain's words. He couldn't really be serious. They had stuck together since the very start, and even saved those who dropped away before. After all their adventures, all their losses and gains, all the happy and sad moments, were the Mugiwaras really over for good?
"That's my decision," said Luffy, turning back towards the horizon. "The Mugiwaras will split up here and now!" A broad smile returned to his face, and he laughed a little. "But… I will not continue my adventure without my crew!"
He turned towards the others, laughing. "Everyone will come back together, on that final island, for our last adventure! To find One Piece, that's what we'll do then!"
The crew was speechless. A feeling like no other was bubbling inside of them. A strange feeling of wonder and hope, of happiness. That decision was final, and every Mugiwara gladly accepted it.
Whitebeard raised an eyebrow. It was true, he was the closest to One Piece, but he had never made a decision to move forward, not like Luffy was doing now. With that amazing decision, Luffy was now the closest man to One Piece. Whitebeard chuckled. "Well, if that's the pathway you want to take, then go on along."
The crew was split. Franky had plenty of materials to build a few small ships, and Luffy gave the Thousand Sunny for Franky himself to sail. With Franky's superior skill, the ships were easily built, all of them mini Thousand Sunnys, each one etched with the riders name.
"All done," announced Franky, showing off the ships to the crew. They were all aligned up on the side of the original Thousand Sunny, glowing with their own well made radiance. "Although they look the same," said Franky, "each one is suited for the riders needs. For example, Luffy's is full of meat."
The Mugiwaras were impressed, and each boarded their separate ships, fitting in perfectly. "They're a little small," added in Franky, "but they're strong! You don't need to worry about them sinking."
Whitebeard hadn't been paying much attention, but chuckled at the fine work. "Well well, I guess you all are about to set sail?"
Each ship had already started moving, heading towards the abandoned marine base where they would split up. The ships, although small for their size, were quite fast, and gained speed as they went.
"Oi, old man!" called Luffy in his own small boat. He was already stuffing himself with food. "Why aren't you coming along!?"
Whitebeard chuckled, shaking his head. "I'm too old now," said Whitebeard, turning away from them. "I'm much too old. My generation is long gone." Whitebeard then vanished away, jumping from ship to ship back in the deep mist. "It's all up to your generation now. Good luck."
The Mugiwaras had reached the old marine base. There, they found only destruction where Whitebeard and Kuma had fought, crumbling towers, broken down gates. But what they were paying most attention to was what was beyond this, what existed in the far off sea ahead of them. It was only dark now, but soon each Mugiwara would be faced with their own challenge.
"Well this is it!" said Luffy. He looked at both his sides, smiling as his crew slowly but surely split off into different directions. He grinned. "Oooookay! See you all at the last island! Raftel!"
The separate people smiled, nodding. They were no longer part of a crew, but deep inside their bonds held together, and hey would sustain until they come back together on that faithful day, at Raftel.
"So long!"
-
this sounds like the end as well ;-(
-
I'm sorry you didn't like it. At least the previous chapters were good for you. ^^
-
no dont kill of the crew so easy,
lost interest, nuf said!
-
Ah? What do you mean? The crew isn't going to die. o.0 They're just apart until Raftel, which is the next Island. It's very important that they split.
-
yo hito,
don't get me wrong.. i liked this chapter as well, though i would have liked it better if a better picture of the 'war' was painted, but i guess the war is not really your main plot, but rather just another element…
i just 'felt' like it was the end, as when individuals from a group part from the group, it seems that the 'series' is about to end..then again, i know you can prove me wrong...

Chapter One-Hundred-Fifty-One: A Meeting of Revenge
Near the end of the Grand Line sits a small, blank island. It is nothing but a simple pile of sand scattered with a palm tree here in there. To the normal adventurers eye, it would be nothing and anyone would pass by it without a second thought. However, it's not what on top of the island that is mystical, but what's underneath it.
Through a secret underwater passageway, a lair of crystals exist. These strange, bright green crystals illuminate the entire underwater cave, giving it a light all of it's own, not needing the sun's radiance. This is the lair of the a wicked man, Mugiwara D. Era.
Currently in the deepest part of the lair is Era himself, sitting upon his throne with a smile. Also there is Kiss, who sits silently alone.
"So, how are things?" asked Era towards Kiss.
Kiss looked up, giving a small smile. "As always planned," she said. "You don't have many Wonders, you know, but the ones you do have are doing their job… They're setting the world into darkness..."
Era chuckled. "Good. And you're real self is still with Dragon right? What is he up to?"
Kiss quickly explained. "The operation has already started. The attack on the World Government at multiple points at once. He wants me to go with Pandaman to Mariejoa to destroy it."
"Don't go," said Era quickly. "Kill Pandaman and then make your true self come here with me. Our plan is coming underway as well. Unlike the Revolutionaries widespread attack on the Government, we will destroy them all by altering minor things from the inside."
Kiss nodded. "Our secrets and our tricks... That is who we are."
There was a sudden clink down the corridors of the cave, like the sound of the crystals falling and breaking to the ground. Both Kiss and Era looked towards the opening, wondering who had suddenly appeared. Kiss stood, clenching her fist, just in case she would have to fight.
"Whoooops!" chuckled Reiku, jumping into the main lair with a smile on his face. He landed perfectly on his feet, chuckling. "I'm afraid I accidently broke some of your cave place!" he said, not really understanding what he said.
Kiss froze, nearly falling backwards at the sight of Reiku. The last time she had seen him had been a romantic, lovely moment, and she had no idea she would see him again so soon. "R-Reiku.." muttered Kiss.
Reiku frowned, opening his eyes and looked around. There, plain as ever, he saw Kiss. His mouth gaped open a little, stepping back. "Y-you!" he shouted out. "What are you doing in a place like this!?"
Kiss frowned, backing away, wondering if she had down something wrong already. "U-um..."
Reiku lifted up his hand, telling her to stop. "Don't move," he commanded. He then strode over towards Kiss, wishing that a luxurious comfy chair would appear. One did so, and Reiku slowly sat Kiss down. "You can't sit on these hard crystals," he said with a smile.
He then frowned, looking away. "Listen.. I'm sorry about 'wishing you away forever'. Believe me, I honestly didn't want to do it... I just didn't want to hurt you.."
Era frowned, watching the two lovebirds with disgust. "Oi!" he yelled out, kicking his leg towards them. "Didn't you even notice me!?"
Reiku looked up, and chuckled. "I'm sorry," he said, giving a small bow towards Era. "I was just surprised to see Kiss here. I thought she worked with the Revolutionaries, not you!"
Era almost felt like this was some kind of insult, but tossed it away as nothing. "Okay, okay," he said. "Just sit down and tell me exactly what is going on. Aren't you supposed to be working at Water 7?"
Reiku nodded, then shook his head. "Well, you see," said Reiku. "I was at first, but that place is soooo boring. I couldn't handle it! So I left. But then I got sleepy, and found myself on Pluton with a couple of pirates! It was pretty interesting, but ended quickly."
Era sat there, his face full of anger. He tapped his finger on his throne, his eye twitching a little. "Reiku..." he muttered. "Just because you're one of my strongest doesn't mean you can just go off and do whatever you want! You have to listen to what I say!"
Reiku frowned a bit, then smiled slyly. "Ooooh, is that so? I wish you would be quiet!"
"Shut up!" shot back Era, Reiku's power not even working on him. "You really need to learn your place, Rieku..."
"Oh!" said Reiku, trying to forget how his wish didn't work. He was, after all, both a Wonder and one of the Seven Deadly Akuma, that of Greed. To be denied something he wanted could not process in his mind. "I almost forgot. I brought some one along with me!"
He jumped in front of the lair entrance, raising his arms out to present the newcomer. "Welcoming..."
Silence.
Reiku raised his eyebrow, looking into the bright cave, but saw no one. He cleared his throat, and then tried again. "Welcoming...."
Again, nothing. Era sat there, tapping his finger on his throne harder. "Reiku.. I'm not here to play games you know..." It could easily be seen that Era was growing more and more annoyed.
Reiku sighed, standing up. "I know, I know," he said, facing the cave. "I wish Edge wasn't lost!"
Instantly, Edge appeared at the cave entrance, and Reiku quickly dropped on his knees and lifted his hands. "Welcoming, Edge, the ultimate shipwright!"
Edge looked around, completely confused. A second ago he was stumbling at a dead end and no he was in front of completely unrecognizable people. "W-what..."
Era really had an annoyed face now. He slammed his fist against the side of his throne, shattering it. "Damn it, Reiku!" he yelled out, striding over towards the two of them. Even though they were slightly taller, Era's amazing aura overcame them. "I told you never to bring in outsiders!"
Reiku frowned, taking a step back. "B-but you don't understand! This man wants to help our cause. He does!"
Era stopped, his eye zooming up to face Edge. Edge certainly didn't look like the guy who would take any orders. He saw a spark, but not a fire. "Kill me," said Era.
Edge looked down towards Era, taking a step backwards, not knowing what he said. "What did you say?" he asked, reassuring his hearing.
"Kill me," said Era again. "Do it."

Edge looked over at Reiku, who smiled back plainly. Kiss was sitting alone, not paying much attention to him, but more towards Reiku. He then faced Era again. He didn't get this at all, but Edge was completely confident in his skill to kill.
Edge quickly kicked forward, slamming the sole of his boot in Era's chest. Era went flying backwards, crashing into his crumbled throne. He then jumped high into the air, pulling out his gun and loaded two poison bullets. "Take this." He launched them both in an instant, and both went directly into Era's skull.
Edge then landed with a small thump a few feet away from the body. His eyes went wide at what he did. The body wasnt' moving at all. Did he actually just kill the leader.
"Not bad," said Era, almost causing Edge to jump where he stood. Era got back to his feet, reaching into the small hole in his head and pulling out both of the bullets. He looked at them, noticing they were not normal, then dropped them to the ground. "Eh, could be better. But you can't get someone like you just any day."
He looked up towards a confused Edge. "You're welcome to join us."
Edge took a step back, not getting it. "I… I just shot you in the head with scorpion poison bullets... You should be dead.."
"Should," said Era. "But not. Since you're a newby, I should explain, eh?" He started by an introduction. "My name is Mugiwara D. Era, the father of the Pirates. I'm also the creator of Wonders. Wonders are, basically, Akuma with a piece of my soul within them, thus giving them special abilities."
He waved his hand towards Kiss. "Kiss, for example, is one of those Wonders. She has my heart."
He then suggested towards Reiku. "Reiku is also a Wonder. Although, there is more than just that. Reiku is a Deadly Akuma. They are--"
"Excuse me," said Reiku, stepping forward. "I wish to explain that. I am one of the Seven Deadly Akuma. Well, there are only four left now, but you get it. We are Akuma who rose to the highest ranks in the Akuma World long ago. Of course, I'm a Wonder as well, as Era said."
Era nodded, not liking to be interrupted. "Lastly, our goal. The world betrayed me long ago, and I am here to get my revenge. Every Wonder I make, I save. When I see someone is a tight spot, and when they beg for a way out, I appear and provide that way out. In the process, they have to swear to serve me. You may not be a Wonder, and I may not have saved you at all, but I still expect you to serve me."
Edge nodded, taking it all in.
"Of course," said Era, "you will be alive in the end. That is how I will save you. Now, welcome to my crew. Now, for your fist assignments in this world war."
It seemed like he was ready to get right to business. "Reiku, I want you to take Edge with you and bring back all my Wonders to this one place. I need to have a meeting with all of them."
Reiku nodded, chuckling. "Sure sure!" he said skipping away with Edge following close behind.
"And don't go off doing whatever again!" shouted Ear just before they left. He then turned his attention towards Kiss. "Since you can be in more than one place, I want your real self to do as I commanded. Kill Pandaman, then come here. I want your clone to go and find someone for me."
Kiss nodded, somewhat sad Reiku had left so soon. However, she knew she had a job to do. She had to serve this man for saving her life. "What is it?"
"I want you to locate the Deadly Akuma Quia, and bring him to me."
Kiss' eyes went wide. She couldn't believe it. Way back then, in the Akuma World, when she almost died in the river, she was with Quia. Quia was her hero when she was young, the one she always looked up to. When he almost died, Era was the one who brought them both back to life.
"I have a question," said Kiss suddenly. Reiku told her to ask, and she did. "Why... did you make me a Wonder, and not Quia? He is.. stronger, and his ability as a Deadly Akuma is... unstoppable."
Era looked at Kiss for a moment, then sighed. "It's like telling your daughter she was adopted," he muttered towards her. "You see, you were not my original goal. I meant to go after Quia all along. However, I got you instead."
Kiss looked somewhat disappointed and sad. "Cheer up," said Era quickly. "You see, back then I didn't like you at all, back when you first became my Wonder. But now... I would never trade someone like you. Even above Reiku, you are my best Wonder. You are my heart."
Kiss smiled, nodding. "Right..." She stood up, walking out of the lair. "I'll bring Quia back to you. Thank you."
Era was left alone, a smile on his face.

Chapter One-Hundred-Fifty-Two: Blooming Storm
"What the hell happened here," muttered Quai, standing in his small, patched up boat. All around him sat sinking, burning and smoking ships. It was as if the entire place he just been hit by a meteor and destroyed everything.
He breathed in the misty air and coughed afterwards, the stench of burning metal hurting his nose. He waved his hand in front of his face, trying to clear the fumes long enough for him to make it by the huge graveyard of ships.
He then lifted up his single oar, placing it against a sinking ship to stop his movement. Something had caught his eye. Just across on another barely floating ship sat a bloody and broken man. It looked like he had gone through a blender due to the absurdity of his wounds and the condition of the clothes he wore, which might as well be called rags.
Quia jumped off his small boat, landing in front of the huge man. It was dying Whitebeard, but Quia didn't know, or care who this man was. He was, however, interested on what happened here.
"Oi, old man," yelled out Quia, kicking the side of his foot. "Ya still alive there?"
Whitebeard opened a weary eye, looking upon Quai. His breathing returned, but only slightly, and very faintly. He gave somewhat of a grunt, then spoke in a raspy voice. "Eh, what do you want…" he muttered.
Quia smiled, glad to see the old man hadn't died just yet. "Tell me, what's going on here? Why are all these ships sinking? Did you do it?"
Whitebeard chuckled. "Sure... what's it to you?"
Quai shrugged. "Just wondering, not very interesting. Tell me, have you seen a kid in a straw hat go by? I'm looking for that crew."
Whitebeard looked at Quai a moment, then shook his head. "Haven't seen any crew. But that Mugiwara kid, yeah. He went straight ahead..."
Quia chuckled. "Hehe, that's all I need to know. Now.."
"DUCK!"
Quia dropped to the ground as Whitebeard, as quick as ever, grabbed his rusty old bisento from his side and horizontally cut it across the air. Quia looked behind him quickly, just in time to see someone he didn't recognize. It was Kuma, one of the Shichibukai, and he had just been slashed right across the chest.
Kuma fell backwards, slamming into the water. Quia's eyes were wide a moment, and he turned back to face Whitebeard.
Whitebeard chuckled, dropping his bloody bisento to his side. He crashed backwards, taking a few last deep breaths. "Hehe.. damn bear.. I it's a tie in the end..."
Quai frowned, stepping over to his side and looking at his face. He saw something amazing and powerful, and couldn't accept it. "Oi, old man. What is your name?"
Whitebeard smiled, starting to wonder how someone didn't know his name. "I am Whitebeard. And you?"
Quia smiled brightly at this. He was glad to accept any chance to boast his name and power. "My name is Quia, the greatest man in the world!"
"The greatest, eh?" muttered Whitebeard, opening one eye and catching sight of his scrawny looking face. "Well... Good luck Quia. If you're going straight.. you'll need it."
Quia smiled nodding. "See ya, old man." He jumped in his small boat, grabbing his only oar, and began pushing forward again.
Whitebeard grinned. "Nah.." said Whitebeard, fading out of life. "Like I said... my generation is over... It's up to you guys now.. What path... will you.. chose.."'
The sea was dark onwards. Quia eventually reached the old destroyed Marine Base, the last one on the Grand Line, and jumped off his oar to rest for a few moments before returning to the sea on his search. He quickly investigated, finding nothing but an empty, trashed building. He shrugged, forgetting about it, and promptly returned to his boat.
When he arrived, however, he was in for a surprise to see Kiss standing in front of it, crossing her arms and looking up to him.
Quia raised an eyebrow, stepping past. "Shouldn't be here, who ever you are. It's dangerous, you know." He jumped into his small boat, grabbing an oar and preparing to push off.
Kiss turned towards him, his face somewhat sad looking. "So you really don't remember me, huh?"
Quia stopped, turning back and looking at her. Familiar? Quia was sure he had never seen the girl in his life. So he shook his head in response.
"But that's why you're alive, I guess," commented Kiss silently to herself. "I have something to tell you," she said with more of a serious tone towards Quia. "You need to come with me."
Quia turned away, setting sail.
"Oi!" yelled Kiss, jumping in the boat right behind him, almost causing it to flip over.
"Ya damn lady!" yelled Quia, grabbing the sides of the boat to try to keep it balanced. "What are you doing, jumping on my boat like that! You can't come with me!"
"You don't understand," said Kiss, turning Quia around and looking at him. "You're coming with me! Someone important wants to see you!"
Quia pulled away. "Whatever! I'm not interested in whoever you're talking about! It doesn't have anything to do with me!"
"Idiot!" yelled Kiss, slapping Quia. Quai turned around, his face red with anger. "Listen," continued Kiss, trying to calm him down and explain. "Your goal is to defeat the Mugiwaras, right? To prove to them you are the greatest? Well, if you come with me, we can help with that..."
Quia stopped, wondering how this woman knew anything about that at all. He didn't remember telling anyone he was after the Mugiwaras. He sighed, crossing his arms. "Alright..." he muttered, his goal overpowering his own will. "But first.. Who are 'we'."
Kiss smiled. "My captain is Era."
"Era?" asked Quia, chuckling, showing off his sharp teeth. "His name sounds too epic for his own good! Let's see the guy.."
"What did you say?"
A small group of four swiftly glided through an old alleyway in a relatively small town. The group was each draped in a magnificent cloak covered with exotic patterns of red and white and black. The only exposed part of their body, were their faces, which could be covered at any moment.
The tallest one of the group was somewhat thin, but not frail at all. His eyes are narrow and wise with age. His hair lays flat across his forehead, whisking slightly. His hair was so flat it seemed as if he usually wore a hat. Regardless of his appearance, his overall figure was quite threatening. His name is Surua, the Yonkou.
Leading the pack at his side was a woman. Even though she was wearing a large cloak, her figure could still be seen by the dynamic curves of her chest and hips. Her face was pink, her eyes thin but bright. Her mouth shaped itself into a little puckered up smile, as if offering a kiss to the air. Her name was Xuria, the Deadly Akuma of Lust.
The next one followed behind with a sort of slowness, but enough speed to keep up with the others. His hair red and long, reaching out into spikes. Even with the hood over his head, his hair still bluntly stuck out. A weak frown sat on his face, and his eyes blue eyes seemed to shake in their sockets, as if wanting to burst out. His name is Soulshroud, the Deadly Akuma of Envy.
The final member of the group was a much smaller figure, nearly two feet shorter than the others. His face could plainly be seen, even with the overcast above. His face was pale, nearly white, and his eyes were slumped into an uncaring look, his blank pupils looking onwards. His mouth was shaped into a nearly horizontal line, lacking any interest whatsoever. His hair was blonde and short, barely touching the tips of his eyes in the front. His name is Erukia.
"Let's stop," said Surua, raising a hand to prevent the others from going any further. They had just reached the end of the alley, and beyond was an open street full of people. He turned promptly to the others. "Are they still here, Erukia?"
Erukia, with his uncaring face, nodded his head. "They're coming from the left or sooooomething..."
"We should come from the left," said Soulshroud in his envy like voice. He crossed his arms, his eyes shaking even worse now.
"Calm down," muttered Surua, turning forward again. '"The best way to get back to the ship is straight forward, but we can't go through this crowd unnoticed..." He turned towards Xuria, who was resting against a wall. "Xuria, gain the crowds attention, and we'll move froward."

Xuria opened one eye, a puckering smile on her face. "Sure," she said in her light hearted sweet voice. She leaped upon a nearby building, looking down at the huge crowd. She smiled deviously, and slowly started unzipping her cloak. "Ooooi, guys," she said loudly towards the population of people. "Hmmmm?"
Her devious powers of lust and love brought all eyes, even the woman, towards her. Everyone looked hypnotized as they continually stared towards the roof, unaware of anything happening around them. This was their chance, and Surua, Soulshroud, and Erukia dashed through the crowd, quickly reaching the next dark alley.
Once Xuria saw that the others had made it safely across, she almost reluctantly zipped up her cloak and vanished away to join the others. At that moment, then entire crowd returned to their regular routines as if the strange even hadn't even happened.
"Good job," commented Surua towards Xuria., which followed by Xuria chuckling.
Soulshroud frowned, crossing his clenching his fists while running, his eyes zipping in all kinds of strange directions. "Oooi, I should be the one being commented!" he muttered enviously.
"Erukia?" asked Surua. "Where are the enemies now?"
Erukia frowned, his eyes looking to the left, then slowly towards the right. "They are… here."
Surua skidded to a stop, the others doing likewise. His eyes grew serious as he looked around in all directions, trying to see any slight sign of the enemies. The only sound hears was that of wind and the far off crowds of the town, or the seagull in the distance. But where was the enemy?
"There."
Surua spun around, pointing his hand palm up towards the rooftop of a building. Instantly, in a flash of bright red light, the building exploded, the thundering crack echoing across the entire island. The building was left as raining rubble, and a fire had started in the center.
"You sure that was a good idea?" asked Soulshroud, his zooming in and out of focus, looking at the building.
Erukia looked on unimpressed, his frowning face staying like stone.
Xuria grinned, wrapping her arms around Surua's neck from behind. "So strong," she said softly.
"Quiet!" shot Surua towards the others, lifting a hand. Silence followed as commanded. Surua then pulled away from Xuria's grasp, slowly stepping forward down the alley. He looked in every direction, looking for any slight movement. Slowly, he stepped forward.
"Above."
Surua quickly looked towards the sky, and was met with a blurry figure slamming down at him. Surua lifted both arms to block the blow, but was surprised when he felt no attack. He lowered his arms, looking forward, and he saw two people.
Reiku and Edge stood before them.
Surua frowned. "So it was you.. Reiku.. What do you want with us?"
"I should be the one wanting something with us," muttered Soulshroud enviously, his eyes zooming absurdly.
"Yeah.." muttered Erukia, sitting down and closing his eyes. "That's them or soooooomething I guess.."
"Oooh," chuckled Xuria, her already pink face blushing further. "Such strong looking guys have appeared..."
Reiku chuckled, motioning for Edge to stay where he was. He stepped forward. "First of all," he said in his delighted voice, tapping his fingers together. "I think we need to talk in a more comfortable place. Not this run down alley, right? So, I wish we were all in Sanctum Cave."
"NO!" shouted Surua, cutting his hand across the air. In an instant, the wish seemed to be canceled. It did not come true.
Reiku stood there, chuckling, a single drop of sweat running down his forehead. Reiku is the kind of person who sees only his desires coming true, and if they don't... "Whatever," muttered Reiku, crossing his arms. "I guess this place will work..."
"What does Era want?" asked Surua, as if already who had sent the two. "Whatever it is, I and my crew are uninterested."
Reiku leaped brilliantly into the air for no apparent reason, his rather modern looking clothes changing into a tuxedo. He landed back on the ground, feeling more comfortable. "Aaah, that's better," he said with a chuckle. "Now calm down... We were told to come fetch your entire crew, but we'll settle on something else... Give us just the Wonder, Erukia, and we'll leave you alone."
Surua turned back to Erukia, who was sitting on the ground and still seemed completely uninterested in what they were saying. He turned back to Reiku, shaking his head. "I won't allow it!"
Reiku sighed, shaking his finger. "Hey, I haven't said everything yet, you know! If you're not going to give him up so easily... Era has a deal for you. If all four of you come and follow behind Era... We will bring 'her' back for you..."
Surua's heart skipped a beat and he stepped forward, his eyes growing wide. His finger tips slightly shook. Was it true? The burning in his heart could not stand the pressure. He felt like dying there and then.
Xuria wrapped her arms back around Surua, smiling. "Her, hmmm? That would be nice, hmm?"
Surua looked up at Reiku, frowning. "I will not join you!" he shouted out. "Until I talk with Era alone."
Reiku smiled, turning his head slightly. "That's better," he said. "I wish we could all go to Sanctum Cave."
Willingly, they all vanished from the scene. In an instant later, they reappeared in a bright green cave, surrounded by gems of all sizes and shapes. They were in the center, the throne room. Before them all sat a grinning man, Era D. Mugiwara.
Surua looked towards him and stepped forward. "Is it true?" he asked quickly. "Is it!?"
"Calm down," said Era. "Of course it's true, or else I wouldn't have offered it. It will come true only once you offer your services to me."
Surua frowned, closing his eyes. Slightly flashes of a beautiful woman shot through his head. He smiled, nodding. "Fine then..." He turned to his crew, wondering how his crew wound handle the situation.
"Stuck here with all these guys?" giggled Xuria. "If captain wants that, then so do I, hmmm."
Soulshroud frowned, his eyes shooting in all directions. "I should be the one offering my services!" he shouted, flexing his fingers.
Erukia looked up for a moment. "I gueeeeesss," he muttered, closing his eyes again.
At that, two more people suddenly entered the room. There stood Kiss along with Quia. Era stood as well, laughing. "Perfect timing! It seems our entire crew has assembled... Era, Reiku, Kiss, Edge, Quia, Surua, Xuria, Soulshroud, and Erukia... My crew is complete! And our goal is ready to be achieved..."
"Let's go after One Piece!"

Just a quick question here?
Is there a rule against writing a fic basing most, if no entire, mythology/universe continuity on another fic?
Say writing a fic basing what has happened on "One Final Piece". -
I don't think there's a rule. And I honestly don't mind if you, or anyone, makes a fic based on this one.
That would certainly be a first. Making a fic on a fic. XD
-
Coz at the time of my reply here… it is the longest fic i have ever read..
and it never ceases to amaze me.. :D -
Hahah, thanks! New chapter soon. And yeah, it is kinda long. I don't know of any other longer fanfic.
-
Well I do know of one thats almost as long. Its called the Return of Uzumaki or something like that, its over at Leafninja, though the last chapter I read was like 30 something and that was waaaaaaaay back in 2007…..haha
anyways hope the new chapter comes soon!
-
Final Piece is having a tiny break. I'll be back in about 3 or 4 days.
Oh, and just as a little prediction, this fic will end on chapter 200.
Edit: Lol, I take that back. A big break, like 2 weeks long. XD

Chapter One-Hundred-Fifty-Three: Surua the Legend
"The plans are incomplete."
It's rainy. The beach is silent, cold, even the wind makes not a single noise. Standing upon the shore is a single man, Era. He frowned, closing his eyes half way, looking out to the huge expanse of ocean, a place he once thought was freedom in a physical form. His dark eyes glistened in the moon as it crept from behind the clouds.
"I have assembled everyone," Era muttered. "The only thing left to do is obtain that single item. Then my dream, your dream, will be complete. All we need… is One Piece."
Suddenly, the slow moving waves of the ocean began swirling in a very unusual pattern. A hand and arm made completely of water slowly reached out from the ocean itself, slightly shaking as it approached Era. "The plans... are still incomplete?"
Era frowned, his eye slightly twitching at the sight of the hand. "It's because of the obstacles."
"Obstacles?"
Era turned away from the hand, for he could not bare the sight of it. "There are many... The world has truly changed since that time back then, you know... The World Government... The Revolutionaries... The Pirates. They're all against us, even if they do not realize it themselves..."
"Then push them out of the way." The hand slowly formed back into the ocean. "I want out."
Era shivered for a moment, and turned back to the ocean. "Of course. My Wonders will achieve that goal. We will get One Piece. But..."
"But..?"
Era frowned, his face showing a sign of reluctance. "We're missing.. one more thing. Even with One Piece, we need another part."
"You haven't found it yet," said the water. "I thought you said you did."
Era nodded sincerely. "Yes, I thought so. However, my wonder Ko proved not to be the missing part. Now, however, I think I do now who is. I think I've found the Final Piece."
"The Final Piece... Only a handful know of such a thing... Only those associated with the Pirate King. How many are left?"
"I wouldn't know," muttered Era. "The woman named Dadan has passed away, as far as I know. And so has Ko. Shanks, however, still knows. He is also one of those obstacles. But, more importantly.. The Final Piece, I think I know."
"Good. One Piece... take it. I'm cold..."
Era nodded, and turned away from the ocean. At that moment, typical nightly sounds erupted everywhere. The constant waves washing upon the shore, the birds flying across the sky, the wind blowing the trees, it all returned. Era sighed, walking back up towards the center of the island.
He was still on Crystal Island, and underground was his lair. He had decided his crew would set off in the morning, after a nights rest.
"What was that about?"
Era stopped, his eyes narrowing. He turned to his right and saw a man leaning against a tree, his arms crossed. It was Reiku, dressed in his typical attire of a button up shirt and tie and straight ironed pants with dress shoes on his feet.
"Well?"
Era smiled. "Nothing for you to concern yourself with, Reiku. Why are you awake so late?"
"If I wish it, I don't need sleep," chuckled Reiku, standing up straight and approaching Era. "But that's not the topic, is it? What are you up to? Standing at the ocean for no reason..."
Era shook his head. "Don't worry. I was just thinking about our plans, is all. Now, if you'll excuse--"
"Wait," said Reiku, grabbing Era's arm. "I'm actually glad I was able to catch you away from the others.. There's an important topic I would like to talk with you about. It's about that man. Surua."
Era smiled broadly. "Hehe, really?"
"That man is not like us at all. He's completely different. Tell me everything about him. I wish."
Era turned around, his fading away, as if hiding it. "No reason to wish, Reiku. I will tell you everything about him, of course. He is a Yonkou, one of the strongest pirates in the world. He is also the man with the smallest notable crew in the world as well. Only a handful of amazing people, Deadly Akuma and a Wonder. That is all."
Era turned, and began walking back towards the center of the island.
"That's not all," said Reiku, walking alongside Era with a brisk pace. "You promised that man something yesterday. What was it?"
Era chuckled. "You really are always interested when it comes to this subject, aren't you? It was about... his love."
After Reiku's silence, Era felt obliged to continue. "You see.. An incident happened a long time ago, which caused Surua to fall into darkness. He lost the most important thing in his life. It was at that time I asked him to become my Wonder, and I would bring his love back."
"So... he's a Wonder as well?" muttered Reiku.
"No," said Era plainly. "Amazingly... He was the first, and only person in this entire world who said 'No'. He denied my request. And without it, I could not make him into a Wonder."
"But now," said Reiku, growing curious. "Why is he accepting your offer?"
"Simple," said Era, looking over at Reiku. "I told him I would reunite them, but I didn't say he would have to become a Wonder. By now, I have enough Wonders. I do not need anymore. However, Surua is still beneficial for my plans, so instead of him becoming a Wonder, he'll simply work for me for a while."
"I see..." said Reiku.
"Exactly. Now, go get some sleep, Reiku. Even if you do not need it, it gives you the chance to dream." Era slowly left Reiku alone, entering into the darkness. "Don't you have a dream?"
Reiku was left alone, standing along the beach. He closed his eyes, and slowly his body began to vanish away. In it's place, the body of a woman appeared.
"I do have a dream," said Kiss.
In the Crystal Cave everyone was sound asleep, all but Surua. His wispy white hair lay softly on his forehead, his slightly aged face, reflecting the ages that had already past. A frown sat on his face as he leaned against the wall, crossing his arms. Before him slept his crew, and he could not help but smile at them.
Regardless, the events of yesterday still crowded his mind. He could not forget the promise that was made. Tears formed in his eyes but he quickly pushed them away. He could feel his heart swelling. It was a horrible... this feeling.. He wanted to see her more than anything.
"You're an idiot," said Edge.
Surua looked up to see that Edge had appeared in the room. It seemed he hadn't changed into sleeping clothes at all, for he still wore his heavy garmented camo clothing, his numerous guns still sitting at his side. His red spiky hair had been pushed back, and his face stared seriously at Surua.
"What did you say?" muttered Surua. He didn't know this man, and was honestly not interested in getting to know him.
"You heard me," said Edge, stepping forward. "You're an idiot. I know what's going on here, even if no one else does. That woman you want back is named Shirai, right?"
Surua's eyes went wide and jumped at Edge, grabbing the neck of his shirt. "H-How do you know that name!?"
"Shut up," muttered Edge. "Or you'll wake your crew. Wouldn't want them to know everything, right?"
Surua frowned, turning around. His crew had moved a little, but remained asleep. He sighed, looking back at Edge. "How do you know about her?"
Edge frowned, pulling away from Surua. "I recognize you. My entire family has been shipwrights for the Ancient Weapons for all time. The earliest manuscripts show a name and a picture. Surua the Legend. That is you, correct?"
Surua paused, frowning. Memories flooded his mind. "I see why Era wanted you to join... You're quite knowledgeable when it comes to that sort of thing... But, my past has nothing to do with you, so leave."
"That's not an option," said Edge. "Although I am not interested in your history, I am interested in something it holds. I want to know what it means..."
"What are you talking about?" said Surua quickly. He knew exactly what it was, but he did not want to speak of it at all.
"You know what I'm talking about," shot back Edge. "In all of your writings... it was repeated so many times. But it was never given an explanation. I know it has something to do with the Ancient Weapons, and I want to know what it means."
Surua frowned.
"You are the Final Piece," said Edge. "Now tell me what that means."

Chapter One-Hundred-Fifty-Four: It Set the World in Motion Part 1
"You are the Final Piece," said Edge. "Now tell me what that means."
It it late a night, and the moon above shown down upon the island. Below its surface was a cave of multiple rooms where many people of a crew slept. Two people, however, had left, now standing along the shore of the island, as if it was a sacred place. Surua and Edge.
"Your family…" muttered Surua, his eyes half closed and his hands clenched in fists.
"They're strong," said Edge, finishing the sentence. "I know that. They were always the underlings though, hiding in th e shadows of their creations. That's not who I am though. I will gladly stand forward for honor. My family deserves it."
"And that's why you want to know about it, right?" asked Surua.
"Of course," responded Edge firmly. "I want to know everything. Without knowledge, there is no way I can be the best. You were always a boundary, but now this is my chance. Tell me what it means. Final Piece."
"If I simply told you," said Surua, "You wouldn't understand at all. To fully understand what that means, I'll have to start at the beginning."
Eight-hundred years ago an event occurred which changed the world. This event all started between the love of two people: Surua and Shirai.
The world back then was very different than it was now. The entire mass of the land was connected into a central continent. This continent was named Mattaki, the Perfect Land. There was peace everywhere, from place to place, an amazing wonderland. The people of the world lived in harmony, never putting themselves over others, always helping each other out. It was a true paradise.
In the center of the continent Mattaki sat a mansion, the largest in the world: Mariejoa. It stands as the central base for the entire world. It is here that all the world is managed by the king and his seven guards. In the throne room sits the current king: Surua.
Surua smiled, stretching as he stood up. He scratched his head, looking around the huge, magnificent room. It was empty, other than his seven Guards, who all stood at opposite sides of the room.
"Eh, sleepy," muttered Surua. He had fallen asleep in his throne again, like usual, and was just now waking back up. He took a step forward, forgetting where he was, and fell down the small stairway, slamming his face into the floor before rolling down the long room.
"Ah, your majesty!" shouted out one of the seven guards, dashing to his aid. He caught the king and quickly pulled him to his feet. "Are you okay?"
Surua chuckled, rubbing his head a little. "Don't worry, I'm fine, I'm fine. Take your post, Mugiwara."
The guard smiled and nodded. He was very tall, one of the tallest guards there. His hair was long and black, getting in his face regularly. His clothes were typical Guard clothes, draped in a robe with a symbol of a single circular dot.
That dot is the symbol of the world. All the powers are centered together, and everyone works as one. Separated, that symbol would hold no power.
Mugiwara smiled as he rushed back to take his post along the wall, almost tripping. As he did, Surua said his goodbye, leaving to his personal quarters for the time being to refresh himself before the day started.
"You're really too noisy," muttered the guard at Mugiwaras side. "Really..."
Mugiwara chuckled, rubbing the back of his head. "I honestly can't help it. It's the way I am!"
Surua gave a broad yawn as he left Mariejoa, entering the largest town around. At his side was two guards, Mugiwara and a second one. Surua had decided to walk through the town today and see how his people were doing, and to mainly get some fresh air. Being stuck up in Mariejoa so long took a toll on the man.
"So where today?" asked Mugiwara, chuckling and looking around.
"Well," muttered Surua, tapping his finger on his lips. Although people all around him were oohing and aweeing at his presence, he had grown used to it and wasn't paying all too much attention. "Well, I was thinking we could stop by the park, then go and --!!"
Without paying attention, Surua had accidentally bumped into someone, who fell backwards. Surua frowned, sweating a little, and reached out to pull the woman up. "Oh, excuse me! I wasn't paying attent.. attent... attent...."
Mugiwara raised and eyebrow and looked over at Surua, wondering what was going on. Suddenly, Surua had lost the ability to speak properly, or blink for that matter. "Surua...?"
"Ah, I-I'm alright," muttered the woman, dusting herself off a little. She had long silver hair, thin and smooth like silk. Her face was in perfect proportion, curving gently but perfectly. Her eyes were a light blue, brighter than the sky itself. She held a perfect smile, white teeth glimmering. Her clothing was that of a long sun dress, reaching down to just below her knees, emphasizing her curves perfectly for a young woman.
She gave a small smile. "It's no pro...." She paused, her jaw dropping. She had just realized who she was talking to.
"I'm sor.. sor... sor..."
"Attent.. attent... attent..."
Mugiwara stood there, raising an eyebrows. He moved his hand in front of Surua's eyes, but it didn't seem to help. "Your majesty? Surua...?"
Finally, Surua was brought back into reality and looked around, remembering where he was. He chuckled, rubbing the back of his head. "Oh, oh yes." He faced the woman in front of him with a smile. "I'm sorry about that."
The woman smiled, her face turning red. "I-It's okay.. Excuse me..." She quickly began walking off, not wanting to be further embarrassed.
"Wait," called out Surua. The woman stopped where she was, her eyes wide. She turned to face Surua. "What's your name?"
The woman chuckled, fiddling with her hair. "I- I'm Shirai. I know who you are..."
"Good," said Surua, stepping forward and taking her hand. "Then there's no need for an introduction, right? I was wondering... if you would like to come along with me?"
Shirai was completely blown away. Never in her life did she think someone like this would even speak to someone like her. She was a silent a moment, then gave a soft smile, nodding. "O-okay!"
Mugiwara frowned, scratching his head. "So confusing..."The scene is far away from Mariejoa, in a dark cold forest. Rain slowly came across the sky, soaking the earth. In the deepest regions of the forest sat a huge river. It was just beyond this river that a strange flash of light occurred, and a man appeared.
The man stepped forward, grabbing his chest as a horrible pain shot through his heart. He gasped for air, taking a step forward again. His breathing was rough, but he continued forward. He finally stopped, looking around.
"I made it," said Ko, looking at the world. "Finally..."
"Amazing," said a voice out of nowhere.
Ko braced himself, his eyes zooming around. It was already dark, so that put him at a serious disadvantage. "W-who's there!?"
A shadow appeared somewhere in the forest, and approached Ko. However, the darkness made it impossible to truly see the figure. "It was I."
Ko frowned, lifting up his arm. He was prepared to rip whoever this was out of existence in an instant. "What do you want with me? Who are you?"
"I only wanted to thank you, Ko," he said. "You've broken yourself away from your boundaries of the world. You've set yourself as an outsider. The world is about to take a new path, and the person responsible will partially be you, Ko. I want to think you, for you have taken the first step in making me complete."
Ko frowned, not feeling safe at all. He ripped his hand across the air, causing the shadow to completely stop existing. Ko sighed, not getting the strange man. It wasn't any of his concern though, and he quickly moved forward to complete his own dream.
However, from another part of the forest, the exact same shadow re appeared. It smiled to itself, chuckling. "Oh, and my name... That would be Mattaki."
