Madagascar.. For the .. third.. fourth.. time.. Something like that.. Gotta love that movie.
It's the kind of movie you can watch over and over again. Kick ass, I must say.

War of the Worlds. I give it… 3 out of 6 stars (Danish system).
It was very good action and special effect-wise, and I liked the whole "earth invaded, as seen from a normal guy's point of view" bit- it made it more realistic. However, there are several huge cons.Firstly, Tom Cruises' daughter in the movie, while a good actor, put a whole new standard for the "intelligent but shitty brat" role. I mean "Everyone's gonna get killed, but wait- I gotta Pee! And I won't stay with the group, because you're not allowed to see me!" And why, oh why did they make her Claustrofobic?
And secondly (SPOILERS AHOY!) The ending sucked all kinds of ass, and created all kinds of plot holes.
1: Why did the aliens need to wait? Why didn't they just take over the planet millions of years ago? Perhaps they waited for "Drinks" to evolve-but how could they predict the evolution of life on earth?
2: If they are an ancient super-intelligent race then WHY THE HELL didn't they take vaccines, or at least investigate the earths' microbes?
3: What did they want our planet for anyway?I guess what I disliked most about the ending, was that it reminded me of ZOE for the Ps2. You are an average citizen, crisis, unvolountarily a hero, your goal is a specific destination, you travel with a loved one. And just when the scene is set for major warfare and action, the game ends.
I know it's not that kind of movie, but I wanted to see SOME KIND of fight against the aliens from Tom's side. I didn't like how it all suddenly became very like Signs.Originally posted by Pepsi@Jul 5 2005, 12:43 PM

Saw The Pacifier a few days ago (not all of it). Sooner or later though, Vin Diesel will become the governor of California… (will anyone get that joke...)

Oh, yeah, I get it. Kindergarten Cop was a good movie though (actually I haven't seen The Pacifier so for all I know everything everyone has ever told me about it could be totally wrong).

It's not actually as bad as everybody says it is (IMO). I do wanna see The Chronicles of Riddick though (Pitch Black was very interesting).

Princess Mononoke, and it was great. The ending almost made me cry. Sen and Ashitaka didn't really end up together. :( But, nevertheless a brilliant movie from Mr. Miyazaki. :D
