apparently he woke up to shoot spicy photos then return to death status real quick
dude's a chad even while offscreened.

the entire fandom wants to see Kuma have his revenge on Saturn ( sweet dreams )
meanwhile in ugly reality Kuma is guaranteed to fail to get his revenge so our protagonist can rise and steal the heroic spotlight for himself ( even though he has no personal beef with Saturn and never met him in his life ) the rubber ultra boring tom & jerry fucker will have it all. even though so many of us wants to see Kuma the one to do it.
as for the question he may not be able to, reminder that Kuma has been absorbing very enormous pain and he should be able to extract his own pain and use it as a finishing move on his nemesis, if Kuma with low consciousness was able to use ursus shock multiple times then he should be able to use his other abilities.
reminder that Kyros got his revenge on his wife's killer without Luffy's help. the same should apply here.
Luffy doesn't have to fight everyone just like the fact he never fought Diamante and instead he fought the stronger opponent. in this case that stronger enemy is unquestionably Kizaru who's soon about to rise again and it is Luffy the one to stop him
I believe it was Caribou who fed Luffy, there are no switching sides anymore. Kizaru is not like Sentomaru and it is disrespectful to him to accuse him of sudden treason.
we deserve to see a proper fight between Luffy and an admiral, the first round was far from serious as each had their own objectives interrupting the fight
Kizaru was razor thin close to execute the almost dead Luffy at the end of the summit war. I want to see Luffy get his revenge too because I'm not satisfied with just a dizziness punch. that's too soft for a man who almost killed him and his crewmates.
regardless of that, what a cliffhanger we got. with the worst timing possible. I advise to avoid spoilers as we're hitting the climax.
maybe those who never watched OP caused the positive reviews
good for us. i want them to continue working on it for decades
Oda couldn't attend in person during production due to covid, therefore the best is yet to come with expected deeper involvement from Oda, however that will cause more breaks!
everything looks so moist
Oda skipped how Teach and Koby dodged the petrification but my guess is observation haki
it's a different case than Law not moving two yonkos because of their strong haki
because afterwords Teach acknowledged the danger of her powers if he unhanded her, if his strong haki would protect him then he wouldn't be worried if she is lying or not.
I really hope Lucci doesn't end up as an ally
he does not fit the good side at all, in fact i would've preferred new cipher pol agents instead of returning ones who already had their time
the cipher pol needs variety and it was denied. from 9 straight to 0 with previous members, meh.
how long would it take to reveal Kuma's backstory
any theories on why he sold himself to become an obedient slave ? Like who agrees to that ?
we're talking about a greater sacrifice than Oden's who agreed to accept humiliation for a fixed period, Kuma is permanent !
but what if Kuma makes it to egghead and go to that room and touch that big bubble ? will he restore his real self now he connected with his own memories ?
I really expected a lot from Vegapunk prior to this arc
he's just dumb af
like what did you expect when you create a clone made of your disgusting greed ?
anyways good chapter.
now that i look back at it
it's kinda disappointing that luffy vs kidd is outta the window especially that they had a build up to it from way back
and it's also a bad look on shanks who didn't had the guts to hunt for the treasure until his main rivals got dethroned
he waited several years challenging neither of them then he demanded the copies from someone who had the guts and actually earned them
we deserved to see shanks versus a real yonko cuz all is left is an old enemy of his, old friend and another old friend
the standard to test his strength is gone, bullying a supernova ain't nothing new .
Barkworm
That's your taste
I would've much preferred Kamusari to be exclusive to Roger
Give Shanks his own identity, they already share a ton in common prior to this and now their abilities are the same too ?!
That's not how you handle a popular character, For that you go the extra mile every time. definitely not the case here.
such an upsetting chapter, mainly because of the broadcast not meeting any expectations
we know for sure VP knows everything Ohara had known yet for no reason there is no mention of the ancient kingdom's name where it should've been uttered and heard worldwide. why so much delay for a fucking name ? it's baffling I've been waiting almost two decades since Clover was murdered for this moment and it's nothing.
the ending of the chapter is defiantly the worst part, Hyping up the iron giant for two years of our lives for what ?
for fucking what ?
if you want it to be useless from the beginning then simply don't hype us all up. Such a wacky pigshit of a move.
leave it to Oda when it comes to teasing & disappointing. that's where he is truly unrivaled.
also baldy's blade size increasing by 800x but that's okay. stuff like this can pass. it just amazed me. unless it's a different blade because it looks different or maybe someone forgot to draw the guard.
I'll lower my expectations from now on. I hope Elbuff to be a short arc with no villains.
you want it to make sense and throwing an assumption that he made a deal with them for things to turn out the way it is
I appreciate your understanding of the issue.
the matter of fact is, it's an issue caused by making everything centered to the mc's which i find... the most annoying part of the series
the world of one piece is very interesting. it deserves better mc's and more variety. and I guarantee you such issues won't exist.
They wanted his son to die they sent a fucking admiral after him
but what about his crewmates? his partners in crime? his friends? nothing.
what happened to them ? no clue it's up to you to guess.
yeah and that is convenient for some sigh.
Do people realize the Roger pirates consists of 29 members and not just Rayleigh & Crocus?
They're presented by Oda with their names and appearances in Volume 96 SBS
Only their captain + Oden are confirmed dead. meanwhile there is zero proof of WG chasing them down after their disbandment
The way they hunted infant Ace and young Robin makes you wonder how the bigger threat was never treated as such. it's a miss by Oda no matter how much you excuse him
give me one reason to justify the neglection of the Roger pirates? 25 members turned into ghosts for God knows why. while each is supposed to be a threat. how is that even slightly convenient for some folks is strange to me.
I think it's stupid for the Roger pirates to be called out
It makes perfect sense for them not to speak up to anyone. because they're pirates. naturally rejected by the public so who would believe or trust them ? That's why Vegapunk is perfect for this job of enlightening the people with the truth and not some scallywag scums.
I still finds it odd how Vegapunk knows about a hidden island that bears the complete history. was that also covered by Ohara scholars ? damn they uncovered a lot. this piece in particular is new. I thought only Rayleigh and the others had access to this.
Artifact in the shelf for +800 years until last week
not only that, Imu himself is against advancement and wants the world medieval for ever so what changed now ? to go the opposite direction ? none of that shit makes sense.
and how long will he keep that fucker under silhouette ? I don't want the anime to spoil it for me.
very slow pacing on terms of releases topped with short chapter.
I just hope the Iron giant will put on a show and not be a punching bag for the disgusting elders.
@electricmastro said in Chapter 1115: Pieces of a Continent:
Lulusia
the way chapter 1086 was written implies the WG does not possess an ancient weapon as heavily predicted before it release.
if it turns out to be Uranus after all. then Oda failed at teasing. plus horrible writing intentionally feeding the readers with misinfo just to cover up the cards in his hands.
if we go this way then how bizarre VP cannot operate an old robot but is capable of operating Uranus!! both are made in the same advanced country. calling one to be beyond him but the better and stronger one is no issue? it doesn't make sense to me. let's just stick with motherflame to not be a mere fuel.
how dumb does it look to have a weapon for +800 years and only used it a week ago.
you know the world's gonna sink when those Jaya mfers laughed at it.
I'm still sure JoyBoy is just an epithet, not his actual name.
not long now before Imu debuts in anime, next chapter is a good fit to reveal the lord of censorship.
the theory of JoyBoy being a king still stands strong. He could have his reasons to become a pirate but taking piracy as his first occupation ? i don't think so
most likely scenario after he lost the war ( alongside his great kingdom ) he took to the seas ( basically escaping ) then naturally he became wanted since his enemies took over thus accidentally became the first known sea criminal. established his crew, hid his treasure, traveled to his allies ( Wano ) entrusting them with his ship ( Pluton ) and wrote various messages to the future after the fortune teller said to his face you ain't the one. How he died is quite a mystery, definitely not in the great war, I'm sure it was after. most likely died a pirate and not a ruler.
Sinking the lower world is a loss to them
who will pay them tributes ? it doesn't make sense to cleanse that way nor i think they're capable of it.
they've done one big thing and it's all thanks to vegapunk, they ain't shit without him.
perhaps the ancient weapons are why the land world is small islands scattered around the map instead of solid continents that can never be drown.
anyways the whole scenario sucks. we have enough climate bullshit to waste our time reading & talking about it.
I shouldn't have raised my expectations for VP's message, the tease was too much and the reveal was meh.
chapter felt very underwhelming and there is a break next week.
