I'd like to see Luffy one hit K.O. an admiral, it'll never happen but it would be hilarious, I imagine a Enel look on Akainu's face as luffy hit's him.
That would be hilarious, but being the strongest with so much difference would take the fun out of Luffy's adventures. Where's the fun when there's no risk at all while traveling and adventuring?
You know the basic haki types are a lot like stat modifiers in RPGs with a few extras. CoO is basically an evasion and accuracy booster (Since you know where they'll be going, its easier to hit opponents, even if they can move much faster than you, and it can help you find hidden enemies), and CoA is basically a strength and defense modifier obviously. CoC doesn't really fit into that line of thinking though. Although specialized Haki seems to also be used like skills and such. Just a thought really, but I felt like commenting on it
CoC is out of the question, but I like that way of looking at Haki. With CoA Oda will obviously make whatever he feels like when the moment comes.
I disagree about Alvida since I feel she's a case like Luffy. Buggy probably can't be killed by swords even with Haki since as soon as the cut is made he can seperate his body away from the sword, and then reattach it via his power. If the wounds can't stick due to the power, Haki isn't as useful. If you attacked Alvida, she'd probably get wounded and stay so because the wounds wouldn't just disappear after the fact. Just my take however.
I think it won't be black or white with haki in that case, but grey. If haki is strong enough it will bypass de DF completely, for example wounding Buggy seriously with a haki-imbued sword. Same for Alvida and the rest of DF's with special properties.
In the next chapter I would really like to see the fake SH trying to impress Luffy, who will intimidate them with a single look full of haki and continue walking like nothing happened.
I don't think he will even need haki to deal with them. We don't know their "real" bounties, but they are most likely fodder.
Fake Luffy will shoot his gun against Luffy and the bullet will of course rebound. If the fake strawhats know about his devil fruit, they will freeze terrified. Last thing will be Luffy saying: "Guys I don't have time nor I intend to fight you. Bye". And if they weren't terrified enough, they will shit their pants even without haki.

Magellen imprisoned him. Which implies that he'd lose in a fight with the warden. (unless the man was cooperative to his imprisonment) So his fruit cannot be stronger.
Was it explicitly stated that Magellan imprisoned him?
I can't find the exact page rigth now, but i assumed he just got imprisoned. To me he doesn't seem stronger than Magellan, but who knows, maybe he resisted and Magellan needed some help from the outside to bring him down.
Does anyone else think the helmets the birds are wearing in the colorspread look like condoms?

You have it right, I mean Blueno's fruit had the perfect evade with his Devil Fruit, since he was basically in his own little dimension, but I couldn't really think of moves he could use offensively with it. I'm sure if Kuma's powers end up coming from a teleportation fruit, Oda will find a way to make some offensive moves with it.
Like teleporting "parts" of his enemy to different places.
The question now would be if Oda can find a way for Kuma to use such ability without too much blood all over the place.
Maybe the legitimate owner is weakened when he is near the zombie that carries his shadow.

I also hope its some kind of fishman or mermaid. Because a person like that really could do alot of good things for the crew like many ppl have said, but what I really know wanan c is a Female new member that really will be some kick ass close combat person. Op clearly has to few female fighter overall and its not like many of them are any raw strengt person.another thing that I wanna se in op is some kind of romance wich now seems to be pretty stuck ….a new female crew member would hopely mix that upp a little and she could be a little more forward and by there starting a chain reaction but thats probely just very much a dream^
So basicly you want a One Piece Sakura clon who can beat Luffy up harder than Nami does, and fall in love with him later on. xD j/k
A character like that would be cool, but needs to be done in an extremely original way or eveyone will be telling the resemblance with Naruto.
