I feel like I read that sinbad chapter already
Same here, it was like deja vu at some parts.

Well going by that kind of logic Kizaru should be an unstoppable god able to essentially teleport anywhere at will and could wipe out all the pirates in the one piece world in a day.
is it just me, or is this page just fucked with perspective?

Shin looks like he's standing 2 inches in front of Heki, who looks like he's head and shoulders taller than the dude behind him. Kyoukai looks pasted in, and seems to be standing on Heki's heel. then both the women are taller than that dude.
I know Shin got HUGE, and that's cool, but even so, I can't make this perspective look natural to me.
I think the height is supposed to represent his aura or greatness sort of. Like if you've seen in some series when the protagonist goes up against an enemy that's far out of their reach they'll show them as being insignificant in size even if they're rather close in reality.
Well it won't last too long at this rate, they're very close to the source material.
It's all a secret plan of Shueisha. They are going to make him take breaks, because one break in every four weeks…
It means that One Piece, which has around 450 chapters left, will last 12 years more, instead of 9. Think of merchandise! How many millions will Shueisha make by stretching One Piece for three more years, while keeping quality? Milions! Nay, billions!
Plus, it will allow Oda to stay alive, and not work himself to death.
It's one break every 5 weeks so it's really 12.5:10 not 12:9.
I'm new to the series and just finished the anime, but id like to start reading from where the anime ended. Does anyone know what chapter I should start on?
I recommend you start from chapter 1 because the anime deviates from the original plot in a few parts but the anime ends at chapter 198.
Does anyone know the name of the shonen app? Where you scan last page and get first page next chapter?
It's on here, but I'm pretty sure the one where you scan the last page is only available in Japan.
44 pages chapter length next week !
By next week do you mean Sunday two days from now or the week after that?
I'm curious, how did Kyros even manage to decapitate what appears to be Doflamingo with a blunt sword.
Doesn't law need Doflamingo alive for his plan to attack Kaidou.
I wonder if Zonge-sama will ever show up in the gourmet world.
Woah woah woah , who said houken could defeat Ouki ? He was only able to land a critical strike because some asshole distracted Ouki with a bitch arrow to the back. If I recall correctly it was Riboku who ordered that trecherous blow , all went well according to plan. It was a cowardly plan from a cowardly general…and guess what it worked. He flawlessly lured both Ouki and Moubu into his trap, even Ouki acknowledge that he was ouwitted brilliantly. Give the guy credit where it is due.
You may hate him for using Houken as his pawn but he is his best pawn in his arsenal , its very logical to use your strongest for victory after all war is all about winning. Haters gonna hate is all I can say.
He didn't order it, but he didn't make an attempt to stop oy either.
sorry for asking this cause i did not pay attention to such details but… why magicians can't have djinns? i searched it on google and this is the answer:Magicians can't have Djinn's or household vessels because the natural flow of magic contradicts with that of a Djinns.but I still cannot understand. :(
Basically the two flows of Rukh don't mix. Imagine it like your body rejecting different antibodies.
Has it ever been stated what Ban would sound like in real life? I imagine him like a singer that uses a lot of auto tune but I wonder what he really sounds like.
He have had at least 9 lives in this world. And Yunan is simply a carefree guy.
He seems more than carefree though, when Sinbad first met the guy he was hiding under a turtle. For someone who looked like he was at least 15 at the time he seemed exceptionally naive to me.
I just had a thought, do we know if Yunan was born into this world. When Sinbad first met him he was clueless about the world in much the same way as Alladin and Titus.
Yotanwa had one of the most badass entrances? Do you guys think she'll have to fight Houken?
Well she seems to be the only person on his level at the moment on the Qin side so I'd say it's a safe bet.
Loved the last page. It would be cool if this nitro is like part of a nitro resistance that Ichiryuu formed.
@LordEnel:
We need laws flashback.
Doflamingos flashback.
The donquixote pirates flashback.
Kyros flashback.
About 11 fights to cover.
The revolution.
The marines.
The revolutionaries.
The festivity.I'll safely assume that this arc will finish end of 2015, where kaido will be properly introduced.
That would make Dresserosa like 100+chapters though…
Why are chapters released so quickly for this series. Is it lagging behind its Japanese version or something?
Skull Man:You are…Silver's....Past Self.
Make it happen.:ninja:
Does this lend validity to E.N.D being Evil Natsu Dragneel. Honestly I hope it doesn't because that would be the worst name ever for a villain.
@God:
So, I started the anime, but I don't know whether or not I should just read the series instead.
If you enjoy the anime it's a safe bet you'll love the manga as well.
Is just me or does Quin seem shorter than before? I think Shima wrote himself into a corner with the whole deal about the mother snake length being the circumference of the earth.
Not currently. He has yet to meet the magoi manipulation tribe.
Oh my mistake I assumed that we were referring to Magi and not Sinbad's manga.
Wonder what Sin's gonna pull next. From what we know, it shouldn't be possible for him to perform a djinn equip while not even holding his metal vessel, but he's up to something clearly.
Well he knows magoi manipulation for all that's worth.
What would Rebecca do in battles if she joined though? I'm honestly curious because her whole pseudo-pacifist view doesn't really seem suited for battles.
New chapter of Sinbad is out

@Purple:
Speaking of birds from which chefs can extract its various resources to make extravagant meals…
Where's Yun?
Sadly… during the period of great hunger Yun was made into a fantastic meat dish at Komatsu's restaurant.
But on a more serious note we haven't seen Terry, Kiss, Dharma Horse or Quin since the timeskip either, I'm curious to see how they've progressed.

I wonder if Jirou rescued Teppei sometime during in the 18 month time period.
It's kind of interesting though, in the other world their god was part of the weakest race.
Just read the chapters and what happened before the humans became magicians was…

Kouen seemed eerily composed during this chapter, as opposed to almost wetting himself last chapter. Anyway, who's Focalor? Is he someone's djinn (maybe one of the Reim king candidate's djinn)?
Focalor is one of Sinbad's djinns, the one he used to defeat Ithnan.
That's just so wrong I don't even know where to begin.
My feeling.
They seemed interested in killing Ace even if it meant fighting Whitebeard. At least that's how I interpreted it.
It was the other way around (they wanted to kill Ace too but Whitebeard was the main target during Marineford). If all they wanted to do was kill Ace they wouldn't have announced it to the world and give Whitebeard time to come.
Honestly, the fact level 6 exists doesn't really make much sense, I mean what benefit did the WG have for letting any of the prisoners there live barring Ace and Jimbei?
The worst criminals were kept alive alive in level six. They would surely get the same treatment.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
The most important commanders will probably end up in prison with them. And after that the rest will either fall apart or be busy surviving.
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
They have caged the golden Lion,Wolf and Shilliew . They can probably caged a Yonko.
Shiryuu had no crew or friends to bust him out of jail. As for Shiki I've got no clue why his fleet which was supposed to be the largest at the time didn't bust him out, guess he just wasn't a cool enough dude. I mean just think, if WB was captured and his 16 commanders plus his crew and allies were to storm Impel Down, how many seconds do you think it would last.
They can be sent to prison.
They have crews and allies that could break them out of Impel down no sweat, unless you want to send an Admiral or two to guard them and it all doesn't seem like the most effective thing to do. Also keep in mind this is an Aikainu run Marine force now, I pretty sure under his authority all Yonkou would either be killed on the spot or executed on a later date.
! I don't see why Solomon would create a clone of the person who supposedly betrayed him. The visual similarities are too striking to be a coincidence though. I'm sure there's more to it.
! This is one of those chapters where a translation will make things a lot clearer. Especially since I'm dying to know the names of some of Solomon's household members; the present age's djinn.
! Maybe Gyouken is his aunt or something.
Also I just thought of something, Alladin wasn't originally a clone of Solomon was he? So was he like reborn when Alma Torran was destroyed?
Wow, Juvia went full Sanji on that one guy whose name I can't be bothered to remember. Coincidence? …Probably. Of course, Hiro curbs so much from One Piece, that it's just the first impression I always get when something in Fairy Tail resembles OP.
Edit: And Lisanna in a bikini, with cat ears and tail? Of course! Because why not, right?
Juvia's always been that way though.
Man that sucks, I planned to watch the anime after the cooking fest was done but it looks like they're going to ruin it.
When everything about Ussop fails, there is always Ussop's Hakuba… I missed Sogeking.
Sogeking is still with you… in your heart.
When does this manga pick up pace, it's in my backlog of manga I'm reading but I never get to it because I'm finding the beginning kind of slow and boring.
I haven't been here for a while, so I'm not sure where people are on the Bellamy theories, but I'm very anxious to see him soon for a particular reason.
That starts on this page:
http://www.batoto.net/read/_/194383/one-piece_ch721_by_powermanga/16At the bottom, the kids that soldier-san beats are Spartan and Bellamy (who is obviously a kid from Dressrosa), they used to be kids that played together, but for some reason two of them ended up in the colosseum. Rebecca was found at some point, but I keep thinking… Why would Spartan be sent there too? And why not Bellamy, since the other guy was?
So, what I'm guessing is that Oda will use the Bellamy talking-to-Doffy plot to reveal what happened there to have them both caught and Bellamy setting sail.
My theory is that Bellamy (who used to be in love with Rebecca) ratted her out when he found out her identity, and Spartan somehow helped her or was seen as an accomplice. They were all nakama, all "orphans" whose parents were made into toys. And because of having no memories of them, Bellamy thinks of Doffy as a hero who is bringing prosperity and opportunities. So he thinks she has "traitor's blood", she's no good (totally Chinjao logic), she should be handed to Doffy because of that alone, but he can also use that to earn himself some credit.
And that is when Doflamingo tells him: "If you sail out and return an infamous enough pirate, I might give you a chance…".
Now, let's talk Doffy a bit. Doflamingo is a perfect exemple of psychopath, he even likes killing during a full moon as much as Kuro likes the crescent (check the flashback with Doffy for the moon, i think these two villains have more in common than most). This is totally unrelated, but I think it's crucial for understanding how Oda portraits the killer intent. And since it's still daytime and by nighttime there is curfew, I guess there's a reason to that. Anyway, back to subject: Doflamingo is such a psychopath, that he sent Bellamy to sail because he thought Bellamy would die.
As for why he would go all the way to Jaya just to punish him: A) He was nearby in Mariejois (he flies…) for the meeting concerning the Alabasta incident. B) He doesn't need a reason to hurt someone, just an excuse. And Bellamy was "sullying his good name".Doffy never intended to let Bellamy join his crew, even if he had returned abnormally strong (which Doffy didn't believe), because it would be pointless and risky to have close to him someone who doesn't know the truth. He didn't mind killing him either because some good could come, like a giant golden pillar. Not nothing worthy an officer position.
Bellamy was born in North Blue.
