Maybe it could explain why Jinei does not want Luffy to fight Hodi Jones. I am kind of surprised that Hodi is very similar to Arlong in personality. Oda never makes an identical character (except Tashigi but she is a difficult case).

Maybe Jinbei knows that Hodi is not that evil and he could be redeemable and has a lot of expectation of the white shark.

I think Luffy Jinbe not want to cause a disagreement there, maybe if he defeated another man fish problems begin to achieve stronger Luffy, or Jinbe is underestimating Luffy and overestimating Hodi or is there a reason behind it really tense.

And I think the Hodi more extreme than even Arlong, Arlong Hodi despised humans seem to hate them.

It seems to be a mix with Skypea as well, 10000 ounces under the sea, neptune kinda reminds me of Ganfall.

I agree, it added to the internal war caused by revolutionaries (and Hodi koza) and straw hats being persecuted in the beginning.

I thought the battle against luffy Decken would take longer. Is now in doubt if they will even fight or not, but I'm still finding the fish a saga of men introductory saga where the enemies are not so strong as well.

Great chapter, anyone remember when Hacchi said he was the second best swordsman of the island of newts?
I think perhaps the best Hyozzu primarily by what he said here.
