That's funny because right under where it says "general discussion" it says "talk about anything here." Please stop the main point of this thread with your inconsistent law-enforcement, moderator.

RE: Looking to work with an artist
Well, duh-doi.
The word "collaboration" already implies that. I don't want to be a story dictator and make it only the way I perceive it. In my eyes, that will only lessen the artistic value and its' visual medium because the artist will be working on something he/she isn't passionate about. I just want to help people with their stories, I guess. And I want to know how to start, it'd be an interesting experience.
-
RE: Looking to work with an artist
What do you mean that isn't how you collaborate? I imagine all people who are good at visual art also know how to properly construct a story or characters.
Also, this is a general discussion board, I imagine the rules on what is allowed here are pretty vague. And even if they weren't, this is a general discussion for anyone interested in getting involved with webcomics. I know it's something I've been interested in and I'm sure someone else is as well.

Looking to work with an artist
Hey everyone,
I was just wondering where one would go if they are interested in working with an artist or someone who can make a webcomic. I am a writer, and would love to create something I enjoy but I don't know how to find someone to do the art and visual styles I just work on the story.

New Fanfic Idea - Frat Boy Generation X
It has always been my dream to create something amazing. But since I live in America, I can't really make my own manga, nor do I have the money or resources to do that. So, this is my new fanfic - Frat Boy Generation X.
This is the story of an 18 year old boy, Akamira Shinnosuke. He is an incoming freshmen in Japan's largest and most popular college, Japan University. As he enters the school, he makes both friends and enemies, until one night he is caught up in a fight between greek life fraternity brothers.
After that night, Shinnosuke catches the eye of Japan University's most well-known, strongest, and popular fraternity - Sigma Phi Epsilon. As he enters the world of fraternities, he will go through many adventures, as well as "pledging" and brotherhood.

RE: Not Guilty
Part of Chapter 1 :
Chapter 1 – The Common
The repeating, high-pitched sounds of my alarm clock go off obnoxiously on my white night-stand beside my bed. This single, annoying tone could awake me from any slumber, no matter how tired or well rested I had become. As quickly as the alarm sounded, my hand swatted at the “snooze” button to shut it off. That was because I was already awake.
Like many mornings lately, I have been waking up a few minutes before my alarm clock can sound off for me to wake up. Each and every morning this time is increasing slowly. At first, I woke up 6:10, but was able to slowly take my remaining 20 minutes in a small slumber until I was awoken.
But over the past few weeks, I have found that I have been waking up a full hour before I am supposed to. And to make things worse, I cannot go back to sleep. I have spent the extra hour in the morning staring up at my plain, white ceiling, keeping to my thoughts.
From outside my door, I could already hear my family preparing for their busy, routine day. The water in the pipes hidden in the walls flowing to our bathroom as my sister, Holly, took her morning shower; my mom rummaging through the kitchen preparing the family’s breakfast before setting out on her busy day as a teacher; and my father, a retired cop, no doubt still in bed.
Beside my small, single-sized bed with blue sheets wrapping the area of the mattress, was my cell-phone. I reach slowly for it, disconnecting the charger cable as I glance at it wearily.
I don’t know why I checked my phone so early in the morning, for I knew no one was begging to talk to me. Not to discourage myself, it is not like I don’t have any friends. Not too many of my fellow peers hate me in my school of St. Augustine’s High School, but I wouldn’t consider the people I actually do talk to “friends” or even “acquaintances.”To me, the term “friend” can only be given to someone that is willing to help me with disregard to their own appeal. A friend is only someone that can act as a stepping stool to help me achieve my dreams. I do not help them. Why should I? I have so much more potential to accomplish things than they ever could dream of. Is it fair that I should lower myself to help them succeed in something so meaningless and simplistic to me? Some could view me as selfish, yet that seems more self-conceited than anything I could ever do.
Viewing them as such, I barely keep in touch with them outside of school or during the weekends. I only contact them when I need things such as homework or other pieces of information involving schoolwork I might have forgotten.
So why do I constantly check my phone every morning to see if anyone texted me? Simple- I like to be surprised.
Sometimes, I get occasional messages that I forgot to answer the night before, and seeing them in the morning puts a grin on my face. That is because those that still view me as their “friend” do not truly know me at all. I view them as fools and hypocrites for befriending someone they already know.
I put my phone down on the bed beside me as I crawl out of the covers. As I stroke my hand through my messy brown curls, my body still asleep even though I am awake, I look around my ordinary room, still waiting for my sister to exit the shower for my turn to go inside.
With only a single bed, one nightstand, one dresser, and a closet decorating the interior, my room is far from “unique.” I rarely go in my room, only to do work or sleep. Most of the time, in my house, I am found in my basement, where a large, flat-screen TV and a comfortable couch are located. But lately I have not been in my home at all. But that is another matter.
My thoughts were suddenly interrupted as my sister kicked my door a few times. “The shower is open!” She shouted in mid- movement, as she scurried her way to her room opposite the narrow hallway our rooms were situated upon. I slowly moved my way to the door, my body still sleepy even though I had been awake for an hour.Like a zombie, I slid the door open as I practically crawled to the bathroom. Closing the door behind me, I took off my plain white t-shirt, now wrinkled and dirty from a long nights. As I took my shirt off, I turned my body towards the mirror, wanting to look at my reflection before entering the shower.
My face began to cringe as I looked intensely at the horizontal scar located on the upper-left side of my chest, where my heart is. Suddenly, my vision became blurry, the bathroom I was situated in began to spin, and my head started to ache with a sharp pain as if someone stabbed a needle through my temple.
In my head pictures and images would flood my memory. One second, an image of me and my family eating dinner would flash in front of me. But in an instant that image would change, as the horrifying sight of a knife stabbing into my skin burned my brain. These visions would bring along the pain as I remember it.
The pain was overwhelming. Even though it was over four years ago, the feelings, the emotions and the pain still feel like it happened yesterday. It all happened in the course of 1 minute. The tip of the knife breaking into my skin, the agony as the knife dug itself into my body. The pain made it feel like an eternity as I prayed to God that it would stop. I felt like my entire body was heating up, like I was on fire. My entire body was shaking with fear and pain as the knife finished its path into my body.
Like the feeling when you are at the top of a roller coaster, I waited for what seemed like an eternity for the knife to exit the wound and leave me to die. That insane anticipation broke my mind and brought me to the point of death, as finally my assailant retracted the knife from my chest. I could feel every drop of blood leave my body.
As soon as they came, the visions and the headache stopped as I opened my eyes and was surprised to see I was still standing. This was not the first time I had these visions, though it had been months since I had them. The last time I had this traumatic experience was at my cousin’s birthday party. But then, I awoke on the floor, unconscious for hours as I collapsed on the concrete with my head hitting the ground.
The time leading up to and the hours shortly after my tragic stabbing documented in the newspapers as the Kitchen Knife Killer Nearly Kills 14-Year Old Bo : Still At Large are still a foggy memory to me. The doctors and the therapists said it was normal for my brain to black out such painful memories in order to protect me, but I still wish I could find out what happened from beginning to end.

Not Guilty
Hey guys. This is a little different from my one piece fanfics. The writing is different, the plot, everything really. Its more of a "novel" im working on. Please enjoy and comments would be appreciated.
Not GuiltyIntroduction
Only one month into my 18th year. That is how long it took to me to realize I was going nowhere in life. It seemed to me that by this age I would have everything figured out. Graduate High School, go to a good College, and get a job that made me happy as well as successful. It seemed that simple. SEEMED. That is the key word.
I wake up early yet again. It is 5:45 A.M., and my alarm is set for 6:30 to wake up for another mundane day of school. Why couldn’t I sleep? Was my subconscious truly in such despair that even an act as simple as “sleeping” became too difficult for me to accomplish? Or was my mind too wrapped up in life’s little worries that I could not sleep fully without thinking them over in my mind.
What “real” problems did I have? College-picking, relationship-salvaging, family-managing? For an 18 year old boy in the urban streets of Rockville Centre, New York, these were the REAL problems. It is laughable that those were the types of problems most High School seniors had to overcome. Life’s REAL problems, such as living and dying, were oblivious to many fresh minds leaving the High School life and entering the real world on their own.
But not to me. I had felt that I was “living” the way I wanted to. I only talked to the people I liked, did the things that appealed to me, and always felt an inner-disdain for things forced upon me, such as responsibility and the law. Only opportunities that I felt would benefit me were opportunities that I would undertake.
Textbooks define me as an “opportunist.” I know that because a year ago the dean of my school yelled that at me for convincing one of my fellow classmates into giving me their new nike “kicks” for answers to a test (The test was simply composed of questions from last year’s tests, which I had saved through my older sister who took these tests when she was a senior).
I admit, I don’t necessarily mind being able to take up opportunities that only benefit me. In this world, I have seen people step on others just to get ahead in life, only for a short while. I am merely following the flow of humanity, those who think of others only become disappointed and let-down. I have seen it many times myself. Whether it’s in movies, films or books, many characters that have lived for the sake of someone else have always had a more difficult and rigorous journey than they would have if they merely did what satisfied themselves only.
As for dying, well, I have only lost a few people in my life. Half of them died even before I was old enough to realize what “loss” and “tragedy” were. When I was at the age of 3, a small child with blonde curls barely capping the top of my infant head, my younger sister, Diana, died at the age of one. How she died my parents have still never told me, and to be honest, I never wanted to know.
I was only three, barely old enough to run and speak. I did not know my younger sister. One could even argue that I didn’t know anyone at that point in my life, even my parents. However, at the age of 9, my grandfather died. This death was one that I was completely aware of, emotionally and mentally.
But one can only, truly know what it is like to live when one has reached the other extreme, death. That may seem like a contradiction, to experience life is to have it end, but it can only be understood by someone that has been to that desolate state. Where life is over, dreams run out of oxygen, emotions and feelings run dry like water in the desert, death is such a place that even the worlds strongest or the world’s most courageous man would cower in fear if ever presented with their own mortality.
Yet I know what it is like, I have been to the place few to any people have ever been before. I have seen with my own two eyes what everyone wonders and rumors about- the realm of death. Why is that? The answer is quite simple –
I, Jake Turner, have died. Not once, but twice. This story is about the second time that I experienced that dark, lonely abyss.

RE: Create Your Own Devil Fruit
@Cutty Fram
thanks for helping me by commenting on my ideas!
1. i think more of this as the only "solid" logia fruit. as for "force of nature" i thought logia fruits are only natural elements only when i say wood i mean more like trees thats why its called the bark-bark fruit. and as for ideas I have ideas..
Collosal Evergreen: By sticking your hands into the ground, you can pour at your energy into the soil causing trees to grow out of the ground creating a forest type field.
Wood Doppleganger: Creating a replica out of wood. Clothes and facial features cannot be made and thus this is only for speical occasions to trick your opponentnot to mention when you are hit, you simply grow your body parts back like trees so basically you are intangible.
2. yeahh i meant sonar but i couldnt find out how to spell that in a japanese translator hahaha. plus when u use the sonar you release a deafening screech while you use it
3. as for the sponge fruit, basically its like the gomu gomu fruit except your body is a sponge. your skin is slightly yellow, and you are able to cushion against blunt attacks and cuts. This doesnt mean he doesnt feel them, they are just weakened.
also, the "sponge man" can absorb water(amount of water absorbed is based off amount of training done with the fruit). the more water you absorb the bigger and stronger you become BUT if u r hit hard enough the water will ooze out of you and you will become weaker.4. i hope when u said original u werent being sarcastic hahaha plus i have another idea: Hito Hito No Mi: Model Gorilla. Its self explanatory hahaha
5. using telepathy to talk to anyone. u have to first touch ur hand to their forehead to do it. not only that, but u can give them directions and show images that u have seen (ill explain more if u want me too hahaha its hard to explain)

RE: One Piece (A Different Story)
Chapter 18 – The Two Clans of Karate Island
Suddenly, Yusuke’s vision would become less and less oblique, as he slipped out of his unconcious state in a foreign room. He would sit up in what was a nice clean bed, with bandages covering his entire midsection. Yusuke had just enough energy to sit up, panting severly as he looked around.
It was a normal, small room, plain and simple with only a bookcase in the corner, a desk and a tall wooden door decorating his sourroundings. Yusuke could not stand up, too weak to move anymore of his body. He also noticed that someone had given him new clothing to wear, since his raggy old pants were replaced with clean and new yellow ones.Too fatigued to stay up any longer, Yusuke fell down onto the pillow. “Where the hell am I…?” He asked himself, his vision fixed on the ceiling. With whatever energy he had left he would try to yell for help. “Izumi…” Yusuke said wearily, “Kosan…” He soon realized no one could hear his faint cries of distress.
Suddenly, the door swung open, as a girl walked inside. She was a girl of mid-height, 5 foot 7 inches, with long, curly brown hair that rested at her shoulders. She was plainly dressed, a long pink skirt stretching down past her knees, with a white shirt on. Her face was one of an innocent girl, with blue eyes and a slight smile. She did not seem much older than Yusuke herself, maybe younger.
From the corner of his eyes, Yusuke watched the girl walk into the plain room. She held a book in her hand, reading it intensely as she walked towards the desk, sat down, and started reading. It seemed as if she didn’t even notice he was awake.
For minutes Yusuke watched the girl, having so many questions to ask. Finally, he gained the energy able to get her attention. “H….Hey.” He said plainly in a fatigued mono-tone voice.
The girl suddenly sprang out of her seat, the book she was so fascinated with flying into the air with her. She looked back, with her body shaking and her eyes wide. “YOU’RE AWAKE?!” She face-faulted, flying to the corner of the room.
“Who are you?” Yusuke asked simply, not understanding why the girl was so shocked. The girl calmed herself down, taking a deep breathe and repositioning herself on the desk chair. “Sorry, you spooked me for a second.” She said plainly.
She suddenly grew a nice bright smile on her face, bright enough to make anyone smile in her presence. “I’m Rosalina, nice to meet you.” She said calmly.
“I’m Yusuke.” The boy replied. “I’d shake your hand, but I barely have the energy to even speak.”“I’m not surprised,” Rosalina stated as she walked towards Yusuke, “you were asleep for six days, your body must still be weak.” With that, Yusuke’s eyes went wide, a look of surprise on his face.
“I was asleep for six days?!” He said concerned. “Of course, you were in a bad condition, your lucky to even be alive.” Rosalina stated as she placed her hands on Yusuke’s body, checking his vitals. “I was sick?” Yusuke asked, confused, as Rosalina sat him up and started performing a routine check-up on him.
“Yeah. On your shoulder you had a pretty bad cut that got infected. Luckily for you the guardians of the island found you and brought you here.” Rosalina said as she finished her checkup, resting Yusuke’s weak body back on the bed. “Well, good news is your okay now. You will need to stay with us for another few days until we can let you go.”
“O-oh. Thanks then I guess.” Yusuke thanked graciously. “Where am I anyway?” He asked curiously.
Rosalina walked over to her fallen book, picking it up off the floor. “You’re in Karate Island.” Rosalina said as she placed the book back on the desk. “I don’t know what brought you here but your ship was brought back around to the harbor closer to our village. It’s still safe so don’t worry.” She reassured.“That’s a relief…” Yusuke sighed, realizing his ticket home was still not lost. Rosalina continued to sit on the chair, reading her book like she was doing before. Yusuke was still confused, and yet had so many questions.
“I’m…I’m still awake.” Yusuke stated, as Rosalina spooked herself off her chair. “Oh..right.” She said with a sigh. “Sorry, I’m not used to you being awake and talking. These past six days have been…nice.”
“Why? Do you like to read?” Yusuke inquired, wanting to learn more about this girl. “I love to read.” Rosalina said, turning her face towards Yusuke with a bright smile on her face reflecting her admiration for reading. “But around here I never have time to read. So when you were here I could always tell my parents and boss that I was watching the patient when really I got to read.”
“Wait..YOU took care of me?!” Yusuke said shockingly. “Yes. I’m a doctor.” Rosalina said plainly. “But you’re just a kid!” Yusuke shouted.
“You’re not too old yourself!” Rosalina shouted, then reverting back to her calm, shy self. “I always get that I’m too young to be a doctor. But I am. I’m really smart and my teacher says I’m getting even better than she is.”
“Wow, you must be pretty smart.” Yusuke said in amazement. “I kinda have to be. My parents have given me the best tutors and teachers from around South Blue to teach me. They said the heir to the Kasamionji clan should be strong in the body as well as the mind.” Rosalina stated.
“Kasamionji clan..?” Yusuke questioned. “It’s the clan that founded and built this great island. My father’s ancestors created this island where people could learn to become strong and protect those around them.” Rosalina stated. “Well it was like that…until..”
“Until what?” Yusuke asked.
“Until my father’s older brother, Fujita, killed their father. That’s when the main Kasamionji clan split into two clans, the Kasamionji clan led by my father, and the Dokuryuu clan led by his brother. Now to this very day the two are constantly fighting for ownership of this island and the very spirit and teachings my father’s ancestors were trying to preserve.”

RE: Timeskip Predictions
well im going from a hunch here, and believe me this will probably be wrong. but u know luffy's message to his crew that we have no idea about. i dont think it was the ringing as it was his tatoo. i know there was a discussion about this alrdy but i have a feeling it has to do with the timeskip
luffy's tatoo says SA2Y. so im gonna say shabondy archipelago, 2 years. now that ll seem outrageous to u guys, but im gonna keep it up. the 16 rings didnt rly seem like the message, because i cant think of any time the number 16 has been used in the strawhat crew
though, vivi knew what the message meant, and she didnt know about shabondy…so i guess im wrong.
but im going with a long interval, the strawhats need time to train and then time to get to shabondy. for some like chopper it ll only take a little while to get back to the island, but for people like zoro, robin, usopp who have to sail there and overcome there island difficulties it ll take longer.
with them coming back to shanbondy PLUS the training, im going to say half a year to a year
-
RE: Timeskip Predictions
well…I mean, the three shichibukai seats need to be filled, the strawhats need to be trained and reunited, the fleet admiral position is open, garp quit, sengoku quit, a lot of S*** has happened. oda wouldnt just show the answers to these things slowly, hes going to have a timeskip. the way he introduced the new world was perfect, only showing the strawhats are even more unready for the new world
-
RE: Timeskip Predictions
a time skip iS happening, I just know it. The fact is the strawhats need to train. They have been getting stonger from fight to fight, that I can admit. But right now there opponents are leagues beyond them in the New World. Rayleigh brought up that point that all luffy and his crew would be doing is repeating what happened at sabondy. They NEED to train, they just cant go to the new world right now. it may seem cliche since all shounin mangas have a training, but its the first real one in one piece that we get so im sure oda will make it amazing like he always does
-
RE: Chapter 594: "Message" Discussion
i think we re all positive now that luffy's message is more about the tatoo on his arm then anything else. It is definetly SA2Y with the SA crossed out. Could SA= Sabondy Archipelago? Thats all I can think of. As for the 2Y, it might have something to do with the place they are supposed to meet at. I guess they arent meeting at Sabondy anymore i guess

Fairy Tail (My Version)
Yes I know this is a One Piece forum but I figured i'd try it out here, and it has one one piece character that i love who you'll see later. enjoy!
Fairy Tail (My Version) Chapter 1This story may deceive some of you. It takes place in a time unknown from our history, in a world full of mystery. This is a world full of adventure, exploration, and magic. Yes, magic was a common practice in this time. Those who used magic were known as Mages, or Magicians and Wizards.
These Mages would use their talents and skills in the magic arts for many uses. Whether it be for evil, for the good, and the safety of others, the use of this magic can only be decided by it's wielder. There are some, whoever, that use this magic in a more practical sense. For you see, there were foundations and organizations called "guilds." These guilds used the many tamers of magic and put them under one roof. They perform jobs of different classes, whether it be Escorts, Protection, or a simple house painting.
This story in particular is about one guild; It's name…
Fairy Tail.
The scene is now the City of Meralvingen. Within the Continent of Magnolia, this city was known as the trading center of information. But within this city, one particular person was about to make the scene. He is the hero of our story, and little did he know his life was going to change.
At the Train Station, an area bustling with people and commotion, the city was about to change. With a loud, high-pitched whistle, the train would pull into the station. As people migrated in and out of the newly arrived train, our hero arrives.
Two small blue footsteps would approach the train platform. With three whiskers along each side of his cheek, a pink belly covering it's mid section with a happy smile. Two paws would be at it's side, standing like a normal person. This was not a person, if you haden't imagined yet, but a cat. This cat, however, was not our hero.
A person would walk behind the cat, a napsack strung over his broad shoulders. He had short, spikey black hair, with two strands overlaying his forehead. He had stern eyes, and a serious expression upon his face. His apparel was plain, nothing more than ragged, black pants and a worn out yellow shirt. Both the shirt and the pants were wrinkled and dirty with age. HE had no shoes upon his bear feet.
His eyes were different, however, from a normal person's eyes. His right eyes was normal, no abnormality visible with his bright blue pupils. HIs left eye was different which even the people with the weakest vision would notice. His right pupil was golden, with a vertical scar across it.
The man would stare down at the cat below him. "Is this the right station?" He strangely asked plainly, observing his sourroundings and awaiting an answer. The cat would remain silent.
Sending a kick to the cat's side, sending him flying a few feet away from him, the man would shout "don't ignore me!" The cat would rise up from it's fallen position, a smile on it's face. As if almost suddenly, he would emerge from his comatose, silent state and leap into the air with a lit smile on his face. "Yep! This is it! Aye!" He strangely spoke with a child-like pitch.
The man would sigh, walking in the opposite direction of the cat. The cat trotted along gleefully, trying to match his pace. "About time." The man grunted, walking through the crowded station. The countless people would stare at the cat, walking like a normal person.
"Yeah, considering you got us lost." The cat responded with it's upbeat tone. The man would grab the cat by it's sides, raising it up to the human's eye level. "YOU got us lost, Happy, not me!" The man defended himself as he placed the cat back on the ground soon after.
"Oh, yeah." Happy would say, finally remembering the past events as they occured. Yet he would forget those memories as soon as he remembered them, keeping a smile on his face as he followed the man.
As the two exited the station, there was rarely any change in the number of people polluting the streets. The city sidewalks were just as conjested as the train station was. This would bother the man greatly, always hating to be in close quarters for such a long period of time. The two stopped, watching the area around them as if they were looking intently for something. "Well, Sousuke?" Happy addressed the man, wondering if he had found what he was looking for. Sosuke would not respond right away. "No, he's not here." The man responded.
The scene now changes to Ikkako Street in the same city as our two heroes. It was a quaint street, with several benches placed along the sides of the walkways in front of the bright shrubbery aligning the street. On one of the top benches sat a girl, who would play a large part in our heroes' story. She was of average height, with long, black hair that barely extended over her shoulders and down her neck. She had the attire of a normal girl during that time, with a white tanktop and a black skirt.. She wore normal sandals upon her feet.
She had several bags beside her feet, with a book opened in between her lap. She read it intently, not realizing that someone was approaching her. A tall man walked towards her, his body shrouded by a black cloak. SIlently approaching, he would slide one hand from out of his cloak, using it to pull off the hood covering his face. The girl would look, at the corner of her eyes, at the tall figure standing next to her. Her right hand slowly slid to her pockets, where she kept several kunai knives. But as the hood was pulled off, the figure took the girl off guard.
He was quite good looking, handsome in-fact. He had drooping, brown hair that just barely covered his sparkling eyes. He had a gentle expression and smile upon his face. "Well hello there, beautiful." He would say in a suave tone, sitting beside her upon the bench. The girl pulled her hands out of her pockets, feeling secure and unthreatened by this man. He would gently brush her hair with his hand, not making her feel uncomfortable. "My name is Dirwin. I'm sure you heard of me, right?" He asked charmingly.
The girl would pause, searching through the depths of her mind to find some familiarity. "No, can't say I have." She would say unemotinally, returning to her book. The man's eyes would grow wide with surprise, almost sliding of the bench in a spasmodic way. He would repose himself, running her fingers through his brown hair. "Surely you have heard of the Great Mage Dirwin. Right?" DIrwin would say in a mono-tone voice, hoping to give his name some royalty and yearn some respect.
Once the girl heard the word "mage" she would stare at Dirwin with wanting eyes. She would stand up, walking back several paces from the bench. "You're THAT Dirwin?!" She asked in amazement. This occurence gave Dirwin several chuckles, as he too stood up and brought himself closer to the girl. "I'm glad my name has become so famous." He would say with an arrogant smile. "Now, what is your name girl?" He asked.
"I'm Yumi." The girl would respond, walking backwards to make some space between her and Dirwin. "I've heard about you. You're from the Guild Golden Chariot, right?" She asked intelligently, for Yumi knew almost every Guild in the continent of Magnolia. Dirwin would smile, staring up at the skies, no doubt to make himself seem more magnificient. "Ah..Yes. That is me. I couldn't help but notice how beautiful you look.." DIrwin would pause, staring down at the fallen book on the bench. "And also that you like to study magic."
Yumi would gasp, reaching quickly for her book. She liked to remain reserved, not wanting to reveal much about herself to anyone. "Yeah, I mean, it's just reading, right?" She would cover for herself. Dirwin would place his hands on Yumi's shoulder, forcing her to blush. "Now, now. That book there is a book on Advanced Spiritual Handsigns. I know much about them, myself. Yet handsigns are such a primitive form of using magic, don't you think?" He would ask, wondering so himself.
The girl would brush his hands off of her, placing the book into one of the bags at her feet. "Yes, I know, but it's really nothing. Just some book I found on the floor." She would cover for herself yet again, straping her bags over her shoulder as she appeared ready to take off. Dirwin would take this offensively, smiling as wide as he could to entice her to stay. "Now, now. How about we have dinner and you tell me more of these HAndsigns. I have never met someone so interested in such a past art."
Yumi would blush embarassingly, as she turned her back to Dirwin and sprinted away. DIrwin's jaw would drop, his eyes wide with bulging veins. "No girl ever runs from me!!" He exclaimed.
As the girl continued her run, she would turn her head to make sure Dirwin did not follow. "Jeez…that guy..Is that what the mages of Golden Chariot are like?" SHe would think to herself, as she suddenly bumped into a tallfigure in front of her. She would fall to the floor, her bags and clothes scattering everywhere. SHe would stare up, as Sosuke and Happy would stand over her. SHe would blush, reaching for her stuff without saying a word. As she reached for a shirt, she would see Happy, holding one of her bras.
Happy would smile, staring at it intently. "Is it a belt for your chest?" Happy would ask in naivity. Yumi's eyes would bulge, slapping the cat as she grabbed her bra and stuffed it into her bag. "Pervert!" She would exclaim, ready to deliver a speech to the cat. Yet, she realized who she was talking to. "A CAT TALKED?" She would shout, for it was too strange to be true. Happy would approach the girl, who at this point was too shocked to move. "You talk to, you know." He retorted.
Sosuke would grab Happy by his small head, placing the cat on his broad shoulders. "Sorry, he's like that." He would apologize for Happy, as it seemed like Yumi did not hear a word he said. "I think she's dead.." Happy said, as the two moved along.
The shock would soon fade, as Yumi shook her head vigorously to erase her head from that obscene thought such as a talking cat. SHe would look around, believing it all to be a dream. "Phew…that was scary..." She assured herself it was a dream and carried on.
It would grow dark, as the sunset this quaint city would soon become a Suburbia of Nightlife as all the bars opened. Yumi rented herself a cheap motel with what little funds she had left, as she decided to go out for a meal. As she walked through the town, her attire the same as earlier in the day, she was approached by Dirwin. And by approached, I mean DIrwin appeared behind her as a surprise. She retracted herself slightly, this time in disgust. "You again..?" She groaned.
Dirwin would ignore her undesires to be with him, as he waved his hand in front of her. "Well, now. We just got off on the wrong foot. How about you join me and my friends on my Cruise Ship. We're having a little party before we head out, what do you say?" He asked, as something strange occured. Yumi knew, before he even finished his question, that she would deny him coldly. But that is not what her body decided, as she let out a smile and agreed to joining him. She had no idea what was going on, nor did she realize she was under a "charm."
This charm was a very simple form of magic, and anyone with even a little knowledge of magic could be aware as to when they are under it. But Dirwin was a skilled mage, and this type of charm was hard to detect and acted quickly and efficiently.
And so, Yumi followed this "Magician" Dirwin to his cruise ship. She was enjoying herself slightly throughout the night, seeing several girls around the dance floor in the main hall. But as the night progressed, the number of girls in the room would lessen, and soon Yumi was in a room full of Dirwin's muscular, scarred, and smelly friends. This was when the charm would wear off, as Yumi's eyes would grow wide and realize reality. "Wait, what's going on?!" She shouted, as the music stopped.
Each of Dirwin's friends would smile widely, approaching Yumi slowly. They would crack their knuckles and surround her, evil ideas running through their minds. Soon, Dirwin would be at the middle of the 15 man pack. He would chuckle softly, as soon his laughter would grow into a loud, maniacal laugh. Yumi's eyes would grow wide with fear, as she tried to dig into her pockets to retrieve her knices. "Don't bother." Dirwin commented, staring at the frightened and outnumbered girl. "I made you toss them overboard. This IS a party after all.." He stated..
Yumi would run as far away as she could, until to be stuck along the wall as the group approached. "That feeling..you charmed me didn't you scumbag!" Yumi shouted, growing with anger. Dirwin would laugh yet again, holding his hand out in front of her. "Yes, I did. I figured you knew SOMETHING about magic but you were hit with something I developed as a "specialty." Charms." He commented.
"So what about the other girls?!" Yumi yelled, wondering if her fate would be similiar. "Each of those girls, including yourself, will be locked downstairs as we go on a little trip to Asirath." Dirwin commented, as a small gasp left Yumi's being. Asirath was known for it's large forced-work, or slave, population. Yumi would surely be working in bad condition for a lifetime. "No!" Yumi yelled, as she would cup her hands together. Dirwin would shoot forward, grasping her wrists. He knew what she was attempting.
"You may not remember, due to the charm, but you explained to me ALL about your little handsign book. The fact that you are an old-version Genjutsu user is impressive. Handsigns are tricky to execute but you were just trying to perform the Ram sign, were you not?" He asked with a smirk, as Yumi's eyes answered for her. "I..I did?" Yumi trembled as the words slid feverously out of her mouth. DIrwin would toss her to his friends behind him, as they chained her from her wirsts to her ankles. "Take her with the others." He demanded, as Yumi would be carried out surely to share the fate with the other helpless girls.
But then, as Yumi was being dragged out of the room, a miracle occured. A loud explosion went off on the ship, causing everything to shake tremendously. "What the hell was that?!" Dirwin commanded, as his lackies dropped Yumi to run to the rucus. Suddenly, the ground below Dirwin would crumble, as a figure shot upwards and landed on the ground. As the dust cleared, an clenched fist extended itself towards Dirwin, as the criminal leaped back. "Who are you..?!" He asked in anger.
It was none other than Sosuke, a firm stance as he retracted his fist back. Yumi would stare at the man's back, remembering him from the occurence before. "So he was real…I guess I didn't imagine him.." Yumi realized. "But still, no talking ca-" She spoke too soon, as Happy stood beside her, the same child-like smile on his face. "AYe!" He spoke, Yumi growing delerious. "Girl!" Sosuke's demanding tone kept her from having the same reaction as before. "Get Happy to unchain you free! Then go get whoever else this freak locked downstairs." He declared, as Yumi stared up at him.
"Who..who are you?" Yumi asked in amazement, wondering who her savior was. "My name." Sosuke started, declaring it to Dirwin as well. "Is Sosuke. Sosuke Eisengard. I'm a Fairy Tail mage." He said in a confident tone, pointing a finger at Dirwin. "And you, are Dirwin. The Ex-Mage of Golden Chariot that is now involved with the Slave Trade. My job here is to turn you in." He stated.
"Fairy Tail…?" Yumi asked in a daze, realizing all the information she knew about this Fairy Tail guild. Dirwin would laugh maniacally, the thought of him being defeated was unlikely. "A simple mage from Fairy Tail? If they thought a single man could take me in, then clearly I haven't been taken seriously." He stated, opening his hands as he aimed his open palms towards Sosuke. "I cannot. Be. Defeated." DIrwin stated, as suddenly a strange purple flame would omit from them. The flames would slowly grow, as did Dirwin's smile.
Sosuke's eyes would grow wide, turning to Happy. "Take her out of here now!" He shouted, as the cat sprung into action. Grabbing her by the hair, Happy would pull her out of the main hall. "Cat! Can't you pull me by my arm!" She groaned in pain. "No time!" Happy said with a smile, almost pleasing to him.
Back in the main hall, DIrwin's purple flames would become the size of a regular ball by this time. "Pretty slow magic, huh?" Sosuke commented. Dirwin smiled. "I was waiting for the little fairy to make it's move. By giving me this much time you have basically ended your own fate. "He said arrogantly. The flames would begin to dance around the room, along the walls. Sosuke would eye the flames, keeping a sharp eye on Dirwin as well. Dirwin's eyes would grow wide, as he swayed his hands to the floor, placing his palms on the cold ground.
The flames would begin to react wildly, gathering under Dirwin's palms as a small, purple light lit the room. "Magenta Drill!" Dirwin commanded, as suddenly an explosion sparked an enveloped the room. A large eruption shook the entire ship, and Yumi and Happy turned to where they came from as the hallway they were running through was now filled with smoke. Happy was able to remove Yumi's chains. "So, why can you talk?" Yumi asked at a strange time. "No time. We have to save those girls." Happy remembered. Yumi's eyes went wide, "oh yah. Let's go!" She shouted as they ran to the downstairs floor.
The scene is now the destroyed dance hall, as flames were soon engulfing the cruise ship. Dirwin would stand in the middle of the engulfed room, trying to find his attacker. "Well?! Fairy Tail!? That explosion too strong for you to handle!" He shouted in confidence, assuring his victory. "No." Sosuke's voice echoed in Dirwin's ear, as the criminal had no idea as to where he was. "I'm not impressed." Sosuke stated, shooting out of the flames, hhis fist extended as it slammed into Dirwin's right cheek. The impact of the punch sent him flying into the flaming wall, as it easily tore down. Dirwin was now in the room adjacent.
Scowling, Dirwin would rub his cheek vigorously as a drip of blood cascaded from his mouth. "Bastard!" His anger grew, as more purple flames gathered in his palms. "No one makes me bleed! You scarred my face! I'll kill you!" He cried, gripping the flames into his palm. He would force them to form two chains of purple flames, as he swung them in circles at his sides. "Magenta Whips." Dirwin would say, claiming his next ability to be an intensified version of his flame abilities. Sosuke stood, unemotional and unimpressed.
Dirwin would lash the two whips forward, as Sosuke jumped to his side, easily dodging the whips. The purple chains would burn the ground, leaving a black mark. "Haha! Is dodging all you can do!" Dirwin cried, continuing to whip his attack forward at Sosuke. The Fairy Tail Mage would continue springing back and forth, dodging the chains with ease. This would turn Dirwin into an angry psychopath, as he leaped back. The two purple chains would dissapear, as Dirwin would cup his hands together. "I guess I need a bigger attack for you, you little rat!" He shouted, purple flames omitting from the crevaces of his fingers. "Magenta Everblaze!"
With that shout, he would spread his hands apart, as the purple flames shot in all directions. The walls of the room would collapse, the cruise ship becomnig more and more destroyed. Sosuke would run away from the escaping flames, jumping out of the room and to the outside of the cruise ship. He would land on a railing on the side of the ship, as the flames would continue to spread like small embers. Dirwin would sprint towards Sosuke, opening his palm in his direction as another bush of purple flames shot towards him. Sosuke would spring off the ledge, the flames running so hot that they burned the metal was ease.
Sosuke would land on the roof, or what was left of it with one quarter of the ship now engulfed in flames. "Fighting on this ship is annoying.." Sosuke said, looknig around, awaiting Dirwin to spring into action. Then suddenly, under the floor SOsuke positioned himself on, seven chains of purple flames would shot up from the floorboards, forming a cage around Sosuke. "SHit!" He shouted in frustration, with no way of escape. Dirwin shot up to the roof, clenching his hand into a fist. The cage would begin to grow smaller and smaller, as Dirwin would laugh maniacally. Soon, the cage would explode, Sosuke's survival not guaranteed.
The scene is now the basement of the cruise ship, tossing and shaking due to the battle up above. Yumi would lead the way for the cat, Happy, as they tried to find the kidnapped girls. Then, two of Dirwin's friends located Yumi and Happy running by, as they pulled out knives from inside their pockets. They stood in between their path, approaching them slowly. "They have weapons!" Happy screamed, hiding behind Yumi. "I thought you could fight?!" Yumi exalted. "Nope, that's Sosuke's job." Happy said with a smile, immediately turning to the danger.
Yumi would grow confident, knowing this two goons were not mages like Dirwin was. She would clasp her hands together, in front of the two now confused lackies, as she gave out a shout. "Eat this!" She proclaimed, as the two stood there, confused. The scene grew quiet, as Happy was wondering as to what was going on. "Did you kill them…?" Happy asked, confused. "No." Yumi said, panting. "I put them in a sound and handsign collaborated Genjutsu. RIght now, they will probably see me turn into a statue full of cockroaches. It'll only last a minute, so let's move!" Yumi yelled as the two ran around the goons.
Soon, the collapse of the ship was now only a matter of time. Yumi would find the keys to the cells and let the countless women from out of their cells, as they charged their way out. They were exitted by several explosions, as Yumi and Happy exited the ship. They stared up as Sosuke flew out of a puff of smoke. He was covered in scratches and burns, his shirt burned off. "Sosuke!" Yumi shouted, trying to get his attention. Dirwin would leap right in front of him, his purple flames cupped into his hands.
Sosuke would turn his attention to Yumi. "Everyone is out of the ship!" She exclaimed. "Get out of there!"
The mage did not run away, on the contrary, he smiled.
"Thanks." He stated, standing firm over the last side of the ship to yet collapse. "Now I don't have to hold back." He said. Dirwin would begin laughing again. "Hold back?!" He shouted. "You can't even get near me anymore! You pathetic fairy! I'm odne with you!" Sosuke would take a deep breathe, closing both of his eyes.
"WHat is he doing?" Yumi asked Happy. "Just watch.." The cat said encouragingly.
As Sosuke was focusing, he would open only one eye, his left golden eye. "Scope!" He shouted, as suddenly his own type of magic would take place. Within his left golden eye, he would analyze everything about Dirwin. "What, what are you doing!?" He shouted, angered and having enough with the waiting. "No more talking! TIme to die!" He shouted, as the purple flames shot at the meditating SOsuke. "Run!" Yumi exalted, hoping he would hear. As the flames inched forward, Sosuke's right eye would open as well. "Done." He said confidently and with a smirk, as he jumped into the air as the flames ran through his last support.
"You idiot!" Dirwin yelled, victory now in sight. "Try dodging in mid-air!" With that, he would sway his hands in Sosuke's direction, as a flower of purple flames rocketed forward. Sosuke would stare at the incoming attack, as they made contact with him, an explosion of dust covering the remains. "Sosuke!" Yumi exclaimed, a tear suddenly gathering around her eye, for her hero was dying.
But all was not over, as Sosuke shot forward through the smoke. His palms smoking, he would clench his right hand into a fist. "What?!" Dirwin exclaimed. "He caught it?!"
With that, Sosuke was now inches from Dirwin, as the Ex-Mage clenched his hand back, ready to launch another purple flame attack. But Sosuke did not punch, but instead sent his open left hand towards Dirwin's scalp. LIke a swayng feather, Sosuke would mess up Dirwin's hair, as the ex-mages eyes would grow wide with anger. DIrwin would kick Sosuke back, as he stared up desperately at his hair. "No! No! You bastard! It was perfect!" Darwin would turn his back to Sosuke, focusing on the management of his hair.
Sosuke would approach Dirwin slowly, knowing he had ample time to attack with the idiot focusing on his hair. "Your weakness." Sosuke exclaimed, sending a side kick into Dirwin's ribs. Blood would shoot from his mouth, as Dirwin's eyes became white. "A mage that cares more about his hair than his life is pathetic." Sosuke proclaimed, clenching both of his fists. "Now, blow away." With that, he would sling both his fists into Dirwin's chest, shooting him far off the destroyed cruise ship into the cold, solid harbor, tearing through much of the concrete.
Yumi would stare, amazed at this feat of pure strength. Sosuke would leap off the ship and onto the dock beside Happy and her. "I think that did it." Sosuke said calmly, cracking his neck a few times before he gripped DIrwin's body from out of the smokey crater, tossing him onto the ground. Dirwin's looks would be overshadowed by bruises and cuts, with his once lit smile now not even half a smile with 10 teeth lost. "He beat that guy….how strong are Fairy Tail Mages.." Yumi asked in amazement.
He would look at the girl, noticing the other girls running away in fear. "You freed them, good job." Sosuke stated, as Yumi looked at him like he was a god. "You…You're...Fairy Tail?" SHe tried to ask, but Sosuke would ignore her and stare at the burning ship. SOon, trumpets would blast, as over one hundred troops would be approaching the scene, swords in hand and ready for combat. "Crap!" SOsuke shouted, eyes wide. "The military! Let's go Happy!" The two would run in the other direction, leaving the destroyed scene.
Yumi would look around, as she noticed something on Sosuke's back. On the right side of his back was the Fairy Tail stamp, which proved who was an official Fairy Tail mage. She would get up, looking around at the destruction. "Wait a minute!" She shouted, realizing she was the only one elft. "I'm not getting blamed for this! Wait for me!" She exclaimed, running after her two heroes.

RE: One Piece (A Different Story)
Chapter 17 - Scaling Fail
The scene is the New and strange land of Karate Island. Our heroes, Izumi, Yusuke, and Kosan, were not considered to be allies, and have already been captured by the strange villagers of this unusual island. Kosan, disregarding his usual cowardly tactics, and dedicating his life to protecting his friends. Yusuke, still sick and unconcious from an unexpected and unexplained illness, is now being dragged to the enemies home, with Kosan slowly trailing behind.
But first, we must explain what had happened to Izumi. Last time we checked on our hero, he was scaling the deep side of the crater which held a village at the very bottom. Using his sword as a stake to keep himself from falling, he would wearily slide down further and further hoping to reach the ground floor.
"Dammit…THis kid better enjoy me doing this..." He would groan as he continued his way down. He would slightly fear of the fact that everytime he would plunge his sword in and out of the rugged earthed wall in front of him to keep balance he felt a slight freefall- feeling everytime he took that plunge to reposition himself upon the crater. And these feelings were to also take into the fact that Izumi was not a fan of heights, and the massive size of the crater that he had been scaling did not help him.
The crater would envelop the slightly ancient village, keeping it hidden from plain sight from the forest above. However, Izumi was still only moments below from one of the buildings which he could easily leap onto. He just needed to scale a few feet lower. However, as his feet would inch downward, his arm length straightening as he would need to plunge the sword out and in again, a sudden alarm sounded. The sudden repeated high pitches seemed very alarming, even to Izumi. The noises seemed to come from nowhere, no speaker or Den-Den mushi in sight to identify the source of the sound.
The pirate would soon worry, as he became careless, and his sword slid out of the earth stationing it, as it fell, taking Izumi along with it. He would plummet downwards, and from the height he was falling from, he would not simply roll down the crater like a fun game children would play on a gently rolling hill. He began to plummet downwards, as he regrapsed his blade yet again, regaining his stance in mid-fall as he would try to stab his blade within the crater's sides yet again to slow his fall down.
The sword stabbed into the rocky side of the large basin, as it would carve its way down, not seeming to slow Izumi down. He would cringe his teeth as he kept a firm grip on his sword's hilt, the shaking and tensions put on the hilt wearing Izumi's hands down. SLowly, yet gradually, he would come at a stop, after ripping apart most of the basin sides above him. He had stopped, his hands were shaky and slightly red, the alarms still sounding in the background of his mind. He had yet to realize about the alarm, as he sighed slightly.
His fear of heights had become reality for a few seconds, and even a brute and strong pirate such as Izumi had feared death for a few seconds. Sweat of worry had dripped down the sides of his face, nudging his shoulder closer to wipe it off. However, the Village below him was still quiet, considering the frantic alarms sounding off in the distance.
Suddenly, as Izumi was feeling relaxed, a brief moment of peace blowing by his mind, a knife plunged into the side of the basin beside him ,digging into the earth. He stared with wide-eyes at the knife, recalling it was the same time as the kind from the forest encounter. "Shit. This again!" He mumbled in anger as he turned his head quickly, as several more knives could be seen zooming in on him from below. The knives were soaring beside the basin, scaling the sides as they rocketed towards Izumi.
He suddenly crouched down, planting both feet forward onto the side of the crater. He pushed off, his sword forced out of the earth as Izumi flew backwards, dodging the knives as they soared past him. He sighed, but had no time to, as he began to fall down. He, however, was at enough of a height where he could land on the rooftops of a building, and so he did that. He landed on the triangular ceiling of the more taller buildings, as he sunk through the concrete, rocketing through the building through the top.
He would land inside of the building, seemingly okay. He would stand, rubble gathered beneath him, making his fall much rougher. "Dammit...What the hell is going on..?" Izumi would ponder, sheathing his sword behind his back, patting dust off his pants. He would ring his figners through his long, black hair, as he took a few steps forward, not realizing where he had fallen. "Where am I..?" He asked himself, as suddenly he heard a few creaks. These slight noises could be recognized, for the alarms had stopped sounding.
He would listen intently as the creaks would grow louder, seemingly from below him. He would look down at the wooden floor he was standing on, as he had finally come to a realization. Yet it was too late, as the wooden floor stationing him collapsed and broke apart, as Izumi dropped even lower down the building.
He landed soundly on his feet, in a dark room, the only light coming from the holes he had made from above.
He would stare upwards, noticing the seemingly weak structure of the building, as he could easily break the roof and the ground by just walking and jumping. However, he looked ahead, examining the room he had landed. He immediately looked below, as the ground this time was made of cement, instead of the weak wood from the floor below. However, by noticing the ground beneath him, he saw several shadows outlined by the sunlight from above.
It was too dark at the other end of the room to see, but Izumi would faintly see several crouched and shrouded figures, blankets and other articles of clothing covering their hunched bodies. He would take a step closer, as suddenly a figure shot down from the roof, landing loudly beside Izumi.
The pirate would reach his hand up to the hilt of his blade, as suddenly a kunai knife was drawn to his neck by the figure almost immediately. "Drop the weapon." The figure would say in a deep, monotone voice.
He would weaken his grip on his blade, dropping his arms down to his side. The knife would press itself onto Izumi's neck, and even the slightest move would mean his death. "You have some nerve to try and enter our village like this." The figure would state yet again. Moving Izumi's body with the force of his knife farther and farther away from the shrouded hunched back figures. Izumi was helpless, as he was staring the wall at the other end of the room.
"Shit..." He would groan, as his blade was detached from his back and soon sourrounded by several other figures entering from the same manner. For Izumi was now a captive, in an unknown land.

RE: One Piece (A Different Story)
sorry for the absence but heres a new chapter instead of a specific date ill release them whenever i finish them.
Chapter 16 - Island of Karate
And so, Izumi stood at the ledge, staring down at this geographical phonomenon. There lay this strange civilization, almost enitrely secluded from the entire island. It was dug down, almost as if the Village was in a crater. The Village was surrounded by forest, which lay at the top of the deep, deep plain.
From looking at Izumi's standpoint above, the street in-between the buildlings were completely empty, not a single person in sight. It looked deserted, but with such architecturally profound buildings, it was strange to think that.
The buildings were made in a special way, constructed of straw and wood, or so it seemed. But for something as simple as straw and wood, the people of this unknown Village had used them in miraculous ways. The buildings seemed to tower over each other, almost reaching the top of the crater that it had layed.
"The buildings seem to branch over one another.." Izumi analyzed, slowly adjusting the belt that held his blade sheathed diagnolly across his back. And he was right, for each building was constructed on top of one another.
The entire village seemed connected, for if even one building were to collapse, the foundation would be ruined. But even from above, there was one building that stood out from the others. It was not the tallest, but it was strange in that it was not branched with the other buildings, but it was by itself.Izumi could not just admire the area for long, for time was of the essence. He would immediately leap down the crater, quickly drawing his blade over his shoulder, stabbing it into the ground. He would use this as a pick, slowly sliding his way down into the village, yet trying to keep himself from falling use his sword.
The scene is now back at the shore, where the ship lay anchor. Yusuke's condition was becoming more critical every minute, and it was due to a disease or illness unknown to both Kosan and Izumi.
It was now two hours since Izumi had left to find help on this unidentified island, and Kosan was still growing impatient. He grew tired of circling around Yusuke frantically, as he sat on the deck, hopeless. The young boy's fever was spiking, almost too hot for Kosan to put his hand on his forehead and keep it there for a few seconds. "Captain…Where are you..?" He would say faintly, slowly banging his head onto the wooden floor. Hope seemed grim, as Kosan stood up, looking one more time to see if his Captain had returned.
Suddenly, several figures would dash out of the forest, in a straight line, as they would grow closer and closer to the ship at an alarming speed. Kosan would slowly wipe his eyes a few times, thinking what he was seeing was merely a mirage. However, several knifes would flash into the sides of the ship, as Kosan stared down at the attack, then back up at the attackers, who were dangerously close. "I'm...just dreaming....!" However, he could not deny reality.
He would slowly creep his way to the rope ladder they had constructed to get off and on the ship, as if he thought Yusuke would notice him fleeing like a coward. "Sorry kid. But as much as I want to follow my Captian's orders and stay here with you, I won't just wait to get captured and tortured when they find a half-dead kid in front of me. I'm bailing." With that, he would climb down the ship, fearing for his own life. Kosan would sink his feet into the salty waters, turning back a few times to see the current situation.
"Sorry, Yusuke..I was never good at being couragous or anything.." Kosan would say to himself, continuing to walk deeper and deeper into the water. "Scared as always, nothing has changed about you, that's for sure." He remembered his Captain saying. Those words hurt Kosan a little, but in his heart he knew he was right. "I'm just a coward. I haven't changed a bit.." With that, he submerged himself completely in the water, swimming farther and farther away from the shore.
"So cool!" "That's amazing!"
Those quotes of Yusuke's admiration of Kosan's stories seemed to flash in his head, as he immediately sprung up to the surface of the water. His green hair damp and dangling over his face, as he stared at the ship, fearing the kid's fate. "Yusuke. He really believed my stories. He thought I was reallly...amazing.."
Kosan had never met anyone who really respected him, or anything close to it. Sure, on Izumi's Pirate Ship he was respected as a Navigator, but Kosan was never respected as a person. His own Captain and crew considering him a coward, always one to hide during a battle. This hurt him inside, little by little. And now, Yusuke, the only person to ever really respect Kosan, would be betrayed by the person he admired. Maybe he was a coward, but Kosan didn't want to truly stand by that name. The "Coward."
He would slowly, but surely, swim back to the ship, trying to keep his fear from overcoming him. "Kosan, the coward..What are you doing? You aren't like this...Why am I swimming back...?" He would panic, now reaching the shore has he slowly put his hand on the rope ladder. He would shake tremendously, tears forming at the rims of his eyes. "No...not this time...To ONE person..I'll be...the hero..." He would creep his way back up the ship, his eyes fixed on Yusuke's location.
However, the boy was gone. Kosan was relieved and worried, as he sprung onto the deck, trying to observe what had happened. He would slowly hear a few voices from the shore, as he ran to the other side of the deck, he saw the figures gathered, Yusuke tossed on the ground. "Shit...they took him...Well, Guess it's too late." He would whisper to himself, only to stop his own body from running away. The figures had the same outfit as the figures who had attacked Izumi earlier, but whether they were connected to each other was unknown.
Kosan could only watch and listen, trying to figure out what these people wanted.
"It's official. Tell Sensei we found a boy on the ship. He's in critical condition." One of them stated. "Do you think he is connected to the one we found scaling the side of the Village? The one with the sword?" The other had asked, as Kosan immediately recognized the other captive as Izumi. "Captain...."
"Well, regardless. Let’s take this one in." The group had decided, as they hoisted Yusuke on his shoulders and immediately shot out to the forest. Kosan would peak his head out and decide a quick decision. "I will.....I’ll get you...Yusuke....and Captain..." He said, shaking even more. He would jump off the side of the ship, immediately tailgating the figures.

RE: One Piece (A Different Story)
(look above for chapter 14)
Chapter 15 – Island of?
After an hour, the stolen marine vessel approached the shoreline. It was a simple shoreline, yet the mist they had met upon entering the island had disappeared. Yusuke was unconscious, still looking sickly.
Kosan and Izumi jumped off the side of the deck once they set the anchor down on the shallow waters, hitting the ground and staring up at the island. It was a strange geographical sight, a large forest about a kilometer ahead of them, with a large mountain at the very end of the island.
The mountain itself resembled a fist, with cracks and indents in the mountain detailing the clenched fingers. “I have never seen this place before.” Kosan stated.
“Me either.” Izumi agreed. “But there has to be some sort of village here.” He looked up to the ship. “It’s decided.” He explained.
“I’ll go further into the island.” He said. “Kosan, you stay here with Yusuke. If I do find a village or something I’ll get back here as soon as I can.”
“But..captain..” Kosan said with fear. “Scared as always, nothing has changed about you, that’s for sure.” Izumi smirked as he hooking his sword sheath around his back, the hilt of the blade extending from behind his right shoulder.
“Right. Hahaha. Me? Fear? I’ll let you know that I fear nothing! Nothing!” With that acclimation, he laughed obnoxiously and had yet to realize that Izumi was already a distance ahead of him.
He climbed back onto the deck and observed Yusuke, who was on the cold ground with a blanket they found in the cabins.”I don’t know what got captain to like you so much, but remember. He is my captain, and once your adventure is over, he’s back to the Hook Pirates.”
Suddenly, a wave crashed against the ship, as Kosan jumped a little. “I fear nothing…”
Izumi walked through the dense forest, brushing away countless branches and leafs that blocked his vision. He kept one hand on the hilt of his sword, not sure what he would run into in this strange island.
As he walked, he failed to notice as a small gray wire crossing his path. He walked through it unknowingly, and continued forward.
“Who knows how long this forest goes, I could be walking for hours until I find anything, IF I find anything. We don’t have that time.” Izumi scowled. Suddenly, a projectile flew towards Izumi, as he dodged it by sidestepping.
He turned towards its direction, as he saw no enemy. “What the hell.” Izumi said, as he looked down at the projectile. It was a simple knife, yet it was dug into the ground. “A strong throw. It would’ve gone through me if it hit.”
He spoke to soon, as several more knives seemed to fly at him from all directions. He dodged each one accordingly, as he unsheathed his blade and held it out in front of him. “What the hell is going on? And Where are these things coming from?”
Then, a solid figure shot from one of the trees, as he stabbed a knife forward at Izumi’s chest. The knife was knocked out of the figure’s hands with a swing of Izumi’s blade, as he thrust the butt of the blade into his neck.
He observed the figure closely on the ground. His face was covered with only a slot in his mask for his eyes. “What is he?” With that question, several other figures looking just like the first, circled around Izumi, knives in hand.
“An ambush, huh?” Izumi said with a smirk, pressing the notch on his hilt. The blade curved out into a square hook, as he was ready to fight.
Back on the ship, Yusuke’s symptoms started coming up again. He was continuously vomiting, blade shooting from his mouth as well as vomit, and he was lucking a sickly pale color. Kosan did not know what to do.
“Shit shit shit….” Kosan began to panic, walking around Yusuke. “What do I do.. I am not a doctor. Hm. What would Clirunk do..” He began to recall what his doctor on the Hook Pirate’s ship would do. He walked over to the unconscious Yusuke with his eyebrows spiked.
“Hm……I think Hm…. That Hm…….He Needs…HM………?” His antics were not helping. He looked off the side of the deck at the island’s forest. “Damn it. What’s taken him so long?”
The scene is now on the forest, as there stood Izumi continuing his path towards some sort of village. His blade was sheathed behind his back, and Izumi had no scratches on him.
Far behind him were the unconscious bodies of the figures that attacked him. “That was weird. They wouldn’t even tell me anything.” He sighed.
He brushed his way through the forest, and soon remembered how much time he spent dealing with those goons. “Shit. I can’t just waste time like this.” Izumi thought. He soon began to run through the forest.
Suddenly, he brushed through as much forest as he could, as he soon almost ran off the ledge of a cliff. “What the..”
The forest was kilometers above the real civilization. It seemed as if there was a large hole in the middle of the island, surrounded by forest on the top. Izumi was staring down on several tons of houses and plazas.
What Izumi had discovered was South Blue’s own Karate Island.

RE: One Piece (A Different Story)
thanks for being pacient. heres the two chapter special
Chapter 14 – Journey To
“And so, there I was. Me versus 7 sea kings. I was staring them dead in the eyes, which were the size of islands! And boom! I took out my special harpoon given to me by my father, created by the god’s themselves, and took them out in 4.823 seconds.”
Kosan stood victoriously on the side of the deck, Yusuke listening intently. “That’s amazing!” Yusuke said in astonishment. “Are sea kings really that big?” He asked.
“Oh are they!” Kosan explained. “I could say a sea king is about 20 times bigger than this ship, at least!” He said. “And you beat seven of them? That’s amazing Kosan!” Yusuke exclaimed again. “Yeah. And afterwards, one offered to be my pet. But I said “Sorry foul beast, you would only slow me down!”
“So cool!” Yusuke admired with stars in his eyes. Suddenly, Izumi darted behind him, flames in his eyes. “Do you know how hard it is to meditate with you making so much noise!” With that, he sent two punches towards Kosan and Yusuke’s head.
“Sorry, Izumi.” Yusuke apologized, rubbing the back of his head and strangely touching his shoulder. “Yeah, sorry captain.” Kosan said,, tears in his eyes and a bump the size of his fist on the back of his head.
“And besides.” Izumi stated. “Look north, we’ll be hitting land soon.”
“What? Really?” Yusuke asked hopefully, standing up in attention and squinting towards the bow. Still , his hand was strangely gripping tightly his shoulder, as if in pain.
There he could see the faint sight of an island behind thick layers of mist. “It’s sort of hard to see.” He said.
“Yeah. That mist seems to cover the island, how weird.” Kosan explained. “It’s not Yusuke’s home but someone must know how to get there.” Izumi said. Suddenly, both Kosan and Izumi could hear a thud against the ground.
They turned to see Yusuke, on his side with blood staining his shirt around his shoulder. “What the hell is with him?” Kosan asked. Izumi examined the bloody area, as he saw a cut with very careless stitches only making it worse.
“But…from a merely stab wound. He looks almost dead!” Kosan examined. “I know it isn’t normal. But the only thing we can do now is stop this bleeding and wait until we hit the shore.”
Then, vomit and blood dripped from Yusuke’s mouth, as it soon spilled out from his throat and onto the ship’s cold ground. “Dammit, kid. He looks near dead. HE doesn’t look like he can last much longer.”
“That idiot.” Izumi scowled. He suddenly remembered the sword wound he took by on Itense, when he was protecting his treasure. That was not too long ago, and it seems to have gotten worse! But it just isn’t the stab wound. It’s something else.”
Kosan went below deck to find some first aid kit, but every other resource was depleted, no first aid kit in sight. “We don’t have anything.” Kosan yelled from below. “Shit.” Izumi scowled. “If he loses to much blood it’s over.”
“Captain.” Kosan said wearily. “What do we do?”
“It’s obvious that we have to get to that island faster.” Izumi explained. “If we don’t hurry he could die!” Izumi ran to the ship’s main mast and tightened it, hoping the ship would catch more wind and move faster. He clenched his teeth and ran to get some ores to row to the island.
“But captain!” Kosan shouted. “Why are you trying so hard to save him? I don’t have anything against this kid but his time has come. We should just forget about him and become pi-“
“Shut it.” Izumi interrupted with a harsh tone. “If I don’t save this kid my honor as a man is dead. I promised this kid I’d stay with him until I repaid the favor. Now help me row damn it!”
Kosan stood motionless, his emotions were too heavy. “Does he really mean this much to captain?
The ship move a lot faster than planned, as they would reach the island in about an hour. Yet that was still too long. “No matter how hard we row we still won’t make it! The wind isn’t strong enough and for this big ship rowing won’t get us there any faster!” Kosan yelled from the other side of the deck.
The ship began to enter the mist, which meant they were getting closer to the island. “Quick! Put pressure on Yusuke’s cut!” Izumi commanded. Kosan took his hands off the paddle for a second, as he put some force on the ripped shirt Izumi had found and put on the open wound.
The ship was still quite a distance away from the island, but Izumi refused to give up. Yet his efforts were going to waste, the mist blocking their eyes. “Captain..” Kosan said faintly. “The wound isn’t that bad, and the bleeding has stopped.”
Izumi sighed. “Thank god.” With that, he stood up walking towards the unconscious Yusuke. He sent a kick towards his head, which connected, but did not awaken the boy. “If the kid makes me worry like that again I’ll kill him myself.”
“What should we do..cap..captain?” Kosan asked, his lively added broken by the seriousness of the moment.
“We hit the island, and hopefully someone will patch this idiot’s wound up. If the wound stays open for long, it could be infected. It might have already, who knows. But hopefully there is someone on that island that can tell what’s wrong with him. People don’t fall unconscious from a stab wound in the shoulder. No longer how badly it was stitched up or how long ago it was.” Izumi explained.
And so the ship sailed closer to this mysterious island, hoping to find someone who could heal and fix up Yusuke.

RE: One Piece (A Different Story)
Chapter 13 – The Mysterious Boarder
The marine vessel continued to sail onwards, cruising smoothly on the calm waters of the South Blue. Izumi kept up on his sword training and sleep during, as Yusuke just stared out to the endless sea. They both kept safe distances from each other, Izumi getting the bow of the ship, and Yusuke getting the stern.
Onboard the ship, however, a dark figure slithered his way onboard. Unbeknownst to Yusuke and Izumi, the figure sneaked further inside the ship, waiting for a time to reveal himself.
Meanwhile, Izumi was in a calm meditative state, his legs crossed, and his sword sheathed sitting on his lap. His eyes were calm, and he was keeping his mind empty of all thoughts. Suddenly, Yusuke walked behind him casually, eating a piece of meat right off the bone.
Izumi slightly raised his right eye lid, seeing Yusuke in annoyance. “What are you doing?” He asked innocently. “It’s called meditation. It clears the mind of all thoughts and really calms you down.” Izumi noted.
Yusuke seemed interested, sitting next to Izumi and imitating his actions. “Like this?” He asked. “Yeah. Now just close your eyes, and be quiet.” Izumi instructed.
They both closed their eyes, and for a time there was silent peace. Suddenly, Izumi heard snoring, as he turned to Yusuke, his head rocked back with a bubble blowing in and out of his nose. “You aren’t supposed to fall asleep, idiot.” He grudged.
The two stayed peaceful and calm, each finding a way to relax. But soon, the intruder who entered the ship approached them slowly, a knife shining in his right hand. He silently walked his way towards them, thrusting the knife at Izumi’s neck.
However, the two quickly realized the attack almost immediately, as Izumi tilted his head slightly to the right, as the knife zoomed by, as he and Yusuke sent out a fist to knock the intruder out.
And there lay the intruder, with short, spiky green hair, with several piercings along his bruised face. There was One in each ear, and two in his nostril, as he was wearing a lime green jacket with ragged blue pants.
Yusuke and Izumi stood above the easily defeated intruder, observing him. “How’d you get up so fast?” Izumi asked Yusuke. “Well, when sleeping in a forest full of dangerous animals, you learn to become a light sleeper.” Yusuke noticed with a smile.
However, Izumi saw something familiar in the intruder’s face. “Ko-Kos-Kosan?” He asked. The intruder quickly snapped out of his unconsciousness, as he stood and noticed his old friend “cap-captain?”
“You two know each other?” Yusuke asked. “Oh, we sure do!” Kosan shouted with glee, hugging his captain dearly. “I thought you were a dead man, captain.” He said.
“Kosan. Off.” Izumi demanded, as Kosan quickly released his hug, putting his hands at his sides and bowing politely. “Kosan here was the navigator on my ship.” He introduced.
“Oh. Yusuke understood, “didn’t you say your crew was captured?”
“Yeah. How’d you get out?” Izumi asked.
Kosan jumped up energetically, never one to back down from telling a story. “Well you see, our crew was sent to Marine Base 47 for a life sentence in prison. I was in my own cell, as suddenly I noticed that my door was unlocked. So, I walked out without causing attention and left on a marine vessel I stole, where I battled marine battleship after battleship, and sea kings as big as mountains, single handedly!” He announced.
“Cool!” Yusuke admired with amazement. Izumi punched Kosan in the head, “why don’t you tell us the real story?”
“Heh heh heh. You sure do get me captain,” Kosan said. “Well, the marine ship most of our crew was on was attacked by some pirate crew on the Grand Line. I think it was the Kide pirates? No Nidd. Well it was something like that. And in the midst of the chaos, I left.”
He immediately noticed Yusuke, as he held his hand out to greet him. “Hello there, I’m Kosan, navigator for the Hook Pirates and lying extraordinaire. Nice to meet you.” Yusuke shook his hand in confusion, “Uh, hi.”
He then returned to his captain’s side. “But how did you escape? You were sent to Impel Down. The living hell on earth! Our whole crew thought you were a goner, and now here you are, alive! But how?” Kosan asked, almost forgetting to breathe.
Izumi sighed, pointing to Yusuke. “That idiot saved me.” He said, as Yusuke looked behind him to see if anyone was there. “But anyways, Kosan, what are you doing attacking us.” He stated.
“Well, while I was drifting in the water, I noticed this ship, and it looked like crap, so I figured it was deserted.” He explained. “But come on, captain. Let’s go get our crewmates back! Oh they’ll be so happy to know that you’re back.”
“Actually.” Izumi shrugged. “I’m going to stay with this idiot for a while. I owe him a favor.”
“But captain!” Kosan tried to persuade. “I heard that if we don’t go and get them out of that marine base, it’ll be attacked by sea kings soon!” Izumi proceeded to knock him on the head with another punch, knowing his lying ways.
“But anyways, you’re welcome to stay on board until I’m done here. It’d be nice to have a real navigator on board.” Izumi stated. “Yeah, welcome aboard.” Yusuke welcomed.
And so Kosan came on board, waiting until his captain returned to his senses.

RE: One Piece (A Different Story)
Chapter 12 – Feelings
On the seas of the South Blue, Yusuke and Izumi continued to sail onwards towards Fuguro, Yusuke’s home town. At the bow of the ship, Izumi was sleeping, his legs folded and his arms crossed. His hair drooped past his face, as his sheathed blade set next to him.
Yusuke was on the opposite end of the ship, staring intently at the pearl laying on the ground. The sun reflected off the pearl in a beautiful manner, as Yusuke could see his own reflection. The sea was clear, no waves or bad weather with very little wind.
They were traveling slowly, but they did not mind. Hours later, Yusuke slowly walked towards where Izumi was resting, picking up his blade and admiring it.
The swordsman slowly awoke, his eyes focusing on the sight of Yusuke swinging his sword around like a bat. His eyes went wide, jumping up in alert as he grabbed the sword from the boy.
“What do you think you’re doing?!” He shouted at Yusuke. “This isn’t a toy!”
“I know.” Yusuke said. “I just wanted to see that weird hook thing.” He admitted. Izumi sighed, knowing all he could do was please the whining child. He pressed the notch on the hilt, as the tip of the blade curved in a square shape, resembling a fish hook.
“Cool.” Yusuke said, amazed. “How do you even do that, is it a devil fruit?”
“No.” Izumi stated sternly. “This blade is made out of a very rare metal that is flexible and bends to what it is conditioned to form. My own father made it before he died.”
“So..” Yusuke said awkwardly. “It is a devil fruit?” He asked unthinkingly.
“You do not have the slightest idea of what you are talking about, do you?” Izumi asked, as Yusuke nodded.
“Devil fruits are magical fruits that give the eater of the fruit special abilities, like that marine captain we just encountered,” Izumi explained. “However, though the fruit gives one special abilities, the fruit eater loses the ability to swim, and becomes a sack of hammer in the sea.”
“That sucks.” Yusuke said plainly. “Not exactly.” Izumi said. “I have heard of some of the special powers one obtains from these fruits. The Grand Line is full of these people.”
“Grand Line?” Yusuke asked. “My dad had told me about that place when he was a pirate.” “Well if he was any good of a pirate then he would be there.” Izumi explained.
“What is it like on the Grand Line?” Yusuke asked. “Hell if I know. My crew was about to enter the Grand Line before we were ambushed by that bastard Augden. Most of my crew either ran away or died, and the rest were captured like me, but I was the only ship to be sent to Impel Down.”
“Impel Down?” Yusuke asked. “Do you do anything besides ask questions?” Izumi asked irritated. “All you need to know is if you are about to be taken there, I suggest you kill yourself before you do. It is a hell under the seas. Almost anyone sent to Impel Down was either tortured to death or forced to deal with the hell today.”
“Doesn’t sound fun.” Yusuke said, his legs crossed as if he was being told a story. “With a bounty of 25,000,000 like mine, I would be sent there if I was captured again. Anyone with a bounty or anyone that has angered the World Government is sent there.” Izumi explained.
“Yet still, the Grand Line is a fierce and wondrous sea, known for its many fascinating islands and strange creatures. All pirates that want to make a name for themselves, or find the great treasure, One Piece, must venture that sea.”
“Sounds fun. Will you be going there when I go home and you’re done with me?” Yusuke asked. “Who knows? I know I should be happy to still be breathing fresh, free air again, but my life is still a life of a pirate. I may just get my old crew together, get a new ship and go on a new adventure.” Izumi said.
“And maybe, just maybe,” Izumi explained. “I’ll let you be in my crew. You are pretty strong for a kid.”
“Thanks but no thanks.”Yusuke explained. “When I get home, I’ll just live my life on the island with my family and friends. Seems boring, I know, but that’s what I want.”
Izumi gave out a laugh, pressing the notch on his blade as the sword curved inwards, becoming a normal sword. He sheathed the blade, as Izumi walked inside the ship for a nap. Before he left, he said “what a shame. You had potential to be a great fighter, kid.”
Yusuke turned his attention back to the pearl in his bag. “I wonder.” He said, looking deeper into the pearl’s reflection.
“Mom must be worried sick about me. And dad probably went off looking for me high and low. The whole village is probably doing well, and just didn’t feel like relying on other islands for resources. That’s why no one has heard of it for a while… My home was always able to live off of itself, and now they finally have, good for them...”
He said this to himself, but he knew none of it was true. He suddenly began to remember flashes from that day. Smoke and fire covered the town, and barely anybody was in sight. He remembered his father’s beaten and decrepit body on the ground, pleading for his son’s life.
He also remembered the large man, Kuma, standing over the two with a menacing look in his face. As if he did not even feel bad about the destruction of an entire village. Yusuke suddenly grew angry, as visions of his mother, father, friends and mutual acquaintances of the village gathered in his mind.
He let out this burst of anger, punching a whole through the wooden floor of the deck. He started to breathe heavily, pulling his hand up as it was covered in scratches from punching the deck.
A single tear ran down his face, trying to keep a simple smile up. “They…they can’t be…They have to..be..my dad….is…strong..strong..er..than…that.” With that thought, he imagined his father and mother. “They..wouldn’t..just…lose..”
The emotions were too much for Yusuke, as he lied down flat on the floor, and closed his eyes and went to sleep.

RE: One Piece (A Different Story)
Chapter 11 – Leaving History
Shuu stood at the side, knowing he was far superior in speed and ability than Izumi. “I know my devil fruit’s weakness more than anybody. Water is a devil fruit eater’s enemy. The sea rejects us, and so we can no longer swim, shuu. But for the abilities I possess, it is a simple price to pay.” Shuu said.
Izumi stared at Shuu with wide eyes as the marine captain stood at the side of the deck, his arms dangling at his sides. Izumi dropped the marine sword he had in his hand, reaching for his own blade sheathed behind his back. He unsheathed it, presenting it in front of the captain.
He suddenly clicked the button slightly below the small, square shaped hilt, as the tip of the blade bent into a square curve, forming a hook.
“That’s a new trick.” Shuu commented. “I’d love to see that sword disappear!”
With that, Shuu thrust his hand forward at Izumi, wanting to immediately evaporate his blade. The man shot back, Shuu’s hand missing as he charged in again with the same objective.
Izumi continued to move side to side, avoiding any contact with the marine. Shuu began to laugh, continuing his onslaught of attacks. “You’re too afraid to attack! You must be really attached to that blade, shuu!”
Suddenly, a kick was shot into Shuu’s side, sending him flying towards the side of the deck. The kick was Yusuke’s as he landed on the ground, his arm normal again. “Y…You?” Izumi stuttered. “That asshole. Whatever he did to me wore off, now I can fight.” Yusuke explained.
Shuu recovered quickly from the attack, stating “rusting a real human’s limbs is only temporary considering they are not technically metal. I thought it would have lasted long enough for me to defeat the swordsman, shuu. Oh well, now I’ll take you both on.”
“Idiot.” Izumi said, stepping in front of Yusuke. “I never asked for your help.”
“He was my opponent first.” Yusuke whined. “I don’t care; you lost now I’m fighting!” Izumi responded. “You know, I was doing just fine before you got here!” He added. “Nu-uh! You were wasting swords like they were pinecones!” Yusuke shouted.
“What?! That doesn’t make any sense! God it’s like dealing with a five year old!” Izumi yelled. Shuu stood in front of the two, finding it odd that they were acting this way in the middle of a fight.
The marine captain took advantage of the fight as he thrust his two hands at the two opponents, as Yusuke and Izumi jumped to opposite sides, dodging. “I suggest you two stop fighting before I kill you, shuu.” He said.
Yusuke and Izumi were irritated at each other already, and the marine captain had pissed off the wrong people. The two shot up onto the side of the deck, standing side by side.
“We work together, and then we leave, right?” Yusuke asked. “Work together? I’m just using you so we can get out of here before the real trouble arrives. However, don’t make me regret doing this.” Izumi shrugged.
Shuu shot forward again, but was immediately intercepted by Yusuke, who sent his fist forward. Shuu grasped his hand tightly, rusting it as he began to laugh. Yusuke could feel his fist rusting, each bone in his hand petrifying slowly. “Fool, have you learned nothing?” Shuu taunted.
Yusuke ignored the captain, throwing another punch his way. Shuu used his other hand to block, grasping it and beginning to rust his hand to the bone. Yusuke smiled, his hands both beginning to rust up to his wrists.
Then, Izumi shot behind Shuu, catching the captain off guard. His hooked blade shooting its way towards Shuu’s leg. Both of the captain’s hands were still grasped tightly around Yusuke’s fists, and he was defenseless against the oncoming attack.
“Fukkutoryuu.” Izumi said, sweeping through Shuu’s leg as he sent the captain into the air. “Ichirin Souji!”
(Translation: Hooking Style, or Hooking Sword Style. Hooking Style, Wheel Sweep)
With that, Shuu was overturned into the air, his hands letting go of Yusuke’s fist. The captain was speechless, his legs dangling in the air, he was completely defenseless. Yusuke spun his body around his hands useless, as he sent a roundhouse kick into Shuu’s side.
Blood dripped from Shuu’s mouth, staining his veil, as the kick sent him flying, hitting the side of the deck, shattering the wall completely. His lifeless body shot onto the harbor, skidding across the hard ground.
Yusuke turned to Izumi, trying to give thumbs up but his hands were rusted and dying, he knew any movement would shatter them completely. “Good work.” He said with a smile. “You could’ve found another way to distract him, instead of almost breaking your hands off, moron.” Izumi noted.
“Yeah, I guess you’re right.” Yusuke said with a laugh. They both looked out to the captain, who was barely trying to get up. “You got some powerful attacks there, kid.” Izumi strangely complemented. “Yeah, and your hook-blade thingy is pretty cool too.” Yusuke said back.
Izumi grabbed the other unconscious marine bodies, tossing them overboard onto the harbor with their captain. “Are we leaving?” Yusuke asked. “Obviously, there are a lot stronger guys than those five down there on this island. Guys I don’t feel like fighting right now.” Izumi noted, pressing the notch on his blade again as it curved inwards to form a regular sword.
“Oh, alright.” Yusuke shrugged waving his weary hands around in front of him. He finally remembered why he had come to this island in the first place. “Wha-what? Wait, we were supposed to get some directions to get to my home island. We can’t leave yet.”
“I know that.” Izumi said, reaching into his pants pocket. “I asked several people for this Fuguro island. Many people never even heard of it, I finally got someone’s attention downtown, before I had left. They said it was a main export for corn in the South Blue, but he had said the island became quiet and isolated years ago.” Izumi explained, tossing an empty money case onto the floor.
“Quiet and isolated?” Yusuke asked. “Yeah. In other words, your home either decided to become dependent on itself, or it was…well, destroyed kid.” Izumi put it frankly.
Yusuke took the news, and simply smiled. “I guess we won’t know until we find it, right?” He asked with a hopeful smile.
Izumi sighed, saying “whatever you want kid. The shop owner told me to head southeast from here. That should bring us close.” “Alright!” Yusuke shouted with glee. Izumi set the anchor up, as he let the sail out, the ship gaining wind as it sped up, leaving the island.
The two had left the kingdom of Saint Reia, but little did they know, this country would later contain a large battle. Blood would be shed, and tears would drop, between marine soldiers and revolutionaries alike. Any country declaring revolution and wanting to break off from the World Government would be accompanied by the most wanted man on the seas, Dragon.
Hours later, another marine vessel approached the harbor, as the soldiers onboard immediately recognized their fallen comrades, immediately tending to their aid. A familiar marine walked off the ship, staring out into the sea from the harbor. It was Captain Augden.
His ship and its crewmates were abandoned on the island of Itense, and so they were given another marine vessel. Being informed about the location of their old ship, they set out immediately, but they were too late.
“What are their objectives?” Augden found asking himself, strangely rubbing his bald head in a circular motion. “Attacking two marine captains, incapacitating several marine soldiers, stealing a marine ship, and befriending a pirate captain. I have never seen anything like it.”
Suddenly, another official approached Augden. It was Vice- Admiral David, back from his talks with the rulers of Saint Reia. He set down a katana with a square hilt with a red sheath, taking off his black sunglasses. His eyes were both colorless, no pupil within them.
“How were the negotiations?” Augden asked. “Not so well. The king and queen are set on revolution. Garp went back to headquarters to tell Sengoku-taicho. I am supposed to stay here and watch for anything suspicious.” David replied.
“Well.” David added. “What about our new enemies. Taking out both you and Captain Shuu, we should deal with them immediately.”
“No.” Augden said, approaching his ship. “Leave this new crew to me. I have a score to settle.” He added. “Very well.” David said, putting back on his glasses and picking up his katana. “I wish you luck, Captain Augden.”

Chapter 10 – Getting Out Of There
Yusuke continued to pant, as the five marine officials looked at him oddly. “Your ship?” One of the officials asked. “This is a marine ship that was stolen by pirates, are you perhaps that pirate?”
“I’m no pirate.” Yusuke reassured. “But I got this ship so I could go home. And you aren’t taking it back.”
Captain Shuu walked towards Yusuke. Holding his hands out in front of him, as if his hands were sterilized. “If this is YOUR ship, that means that not only did you assault and defeat an entire fleet, but a captain as well. You are our enemy.”
Yusuke ignored Shuu, as he noticed one of the marine soldiers reaching for his bag, as he shot to him with amazing speed. The marine official was caught off guard, as Yusuke snapped a front kick into the marine official’s jaw, sending him into the air as he crashed down to the floor.
The officials surrounding the two were shocked, as one of them shot a kick towards Yusuke’s stomach, as it was immediately blocked. Yusuke clenched his teeth, as the two put pressure on their attacks. Their legs were locked onto each other, shaking as their legs continued to clash.
Suddenly, the marine official in battle with Yusuke pulled a pistol from his jacket, aiming it towards Yusuke’s face and firing. The boy quickly dodged, slinging his head back as the bullet was avoided. He whipped his head back forward, as he head butted the gun out of the official’s hand.
The marine jumped back, as the other two officials behind him charged in. The two sent their punches forward. Yusuke grasped their fists, stopping the attack completely as he sent a roundhouse kick into one of the marine official’s stomach, knocking him to the ground.
Captain Shuu observed the fight, watching his fellow marines being defeated by one boy. “Bastard!” One of the marine officials said as he checked up on his fallen comrade. One of the officials was still gripped by Yusuke, as he tried to squirm free.
Yusuke twisted his hand back, as the marine official screamed in pain. The boy put him out of his misery as he struck at his neck with a punch, knocking him out.
Now the marines were down to two, as Shuu stood unimpressed. “He is skilled.” He said. Yusuke looked at the two, smirking. “Now get off my ship, unless you want to get beaten up.” He threatened.
“Arrogant bastard. Do you have any idea what you are doing?” The other marine official said. “No.” Yusuke responded quickly. “I just want my ship.”
“Making enemies with the world government. You will pay dearly.” The marine official said as he shot his punch forward, having it easily parried by Yusuke as the boy finished off the official with a head butt.
“Now there is only on-!” Yusuke tried to say, as he was quickly interrupted by the captain Shuu.
The captain placed his hand on Yusuke’s arm, as something strange occurred. Where his hand connected, Yusuke’s arm suddenly began to rust. The boy was too amazed and confused to move, as the rust continued to move up his arm.
“Now turn to dust!” Shuu shouted as the rust continued to spread. Suddenly, a marine calibier sword shot at Shuu, as he gripped it with his free hands, rusting it completely as he threw it to the floor as it shattered.
On the deck was Izumi, his sword still sheathed behind his back. “Iz…Izumi?” Yusuke said amazed, but still being turned into rust.
“Another one.” Shuu said, his hand still placed on Yusuke’s arm. “Let go of him.” Izumi commanded. Shuu gave out a smirk, faintly heard under his veil.
Izumi realized he could not talk his way out of this, as he unsheathed the sword out of one of the unconscious marine official’s sheath, charging towards the captain.
He slashed forward, trying to cut Shuu’s hand off of Yusuke. Shuu shot his hand back, as he held them out in front of him, ready to strike. “I know your abilities the Sabi Sabi no mi gave you. You’re nothing but a sword destroyer.” Izumi said.
Yusuke was still motionless, dumbfounded by this marine captain’s abilities and how close to death he truly was. “Stay there.” Izumi commanded to Yusuke. “I’ll handle him.”
“Handle me?” Shuu asked with a slight smirk. “It is sad how arrogant you pirates are, shuu.”
Izumi charged forward, a marine calibier sword in his hand, tossing his sheathed blade towards Yusuke. Shuu charged forward as well, as the two clashed, Izumi slashing forward as Shuu caught the blade in between his palms.
The sword then began to rust immediately, as Izumi pulled his blade back, beginning to crumble and break. “Shit..” Izumi said to himself. “How do I beat this guy?”
Shuu began to laugh again, knowing his enemy could not possibly harm him. “That kid is no help. And whatever blade I use to attack him with, he simply turns it into this junk.” Izumi scowled, tossing his sword into the ground, as it immediately shattered.
Suddenly, Shuu shot towards Izumi, slinging his arm forward. Izumi quickly dodged, ducking as he ran away from his opponent. “He ate a devil fruit..So he can’t swim!” Izumi realized.
He continued to run towards the side of the deck, Shuu closely following. Izumi turned to see if his opponent was on his trail, as he noticed he had disappeared. He turned to the side of the deck, as Shuu was standing on the side.
“You are a mere pirate.” He said. “I am a marine captain. The winner of this fight should be obvious.”

RE: One Piece (A Different Story)
Chapter 9 – Something is Happening
Yusuke ran as fast as he possibly could to the harbor, fearing his only way home would be taken by the marines. “Please…Don’t touch my ticket home!” He shouted.
Back in the kingdom of Saint Reia, tensions were running high. Yet, Izumi, strolling from shop to shop, looking for things to purchase that may be helpful later, barely noticed the countless marine soldiers he had passed.
“It seems something interesting is going on.” A faint, creepy voice said to Izumi. He turned to the figure, who was sitting behind a table. It was not clear if the figure was a male or female, but with slimy green skin, large, beady eyes and a round head, it was not necessary to guess.
“What do you want?” Izumi addressed the odd looking figure. “I should be asking you the same question, Hooking Blade Izumi.” It said, flashing a smirk.
“I’m amazed someone like you would be able to walk through these marine soldiers so calmly.” It said. “So you know who I am,” Izumi said, grasping the hilt of his sheathed sword, ready to attack. “Yes, yes I do.” It responded.
“But the marines have more to worry about then you.” It said. “What do you mean?” Izumi asked. “This kingdom is striding for rebellion. The king is no longer interested in following the World Government anymore.”
“So the marines are here to take charge and make sure nothing happens.” Izumi stated, relaxing his grip on his blade. “Indeed.” It said. “What does this have to do with me?” Izumi asked.
“This place will soon be a battlefield. Anyone with even a hint of common sense would know to flee from this island and never look back.” The figure said. “I’ve never been one to run from a fight.” Izumi said stubbornly.
The figure began to laugh, it’s yellow teeth showing themselves fully. Izumi decided to walk away, not wanting to listen to it anymore. “FO Fo FO Fo.” It laughed. “That man has many adventures ahead of him.”
Izumi continued his way through the crowded kingdom, spotting multiple groups of marine soldiers stationed in random areas. He then noticed a clothing store, and decided to get rid of his worn out and raggy outfit.
A few minutes later, Izumi walked out of the store, a new white t-shirt on with black pants and shoes. He held his sheathed sword in his hand, restriping it to his back He had also purchased a brown sheet to hide his identity.
He covered himself in it, rapping it around his face as his eyes were the only part visible of him. He suddenly noticed a large group of people forming at the bottom of a very large staircase, which formed up to a large white palace.
Izumi slowly noticed a figure walking up the staircase, with someone on his right. The leading figure was dangling a marine coat on his right shoulder, fairly tall with pale skin. He had a brown goatee on his face, with black shades covering his eyes. His hair stood up straight like a tower, spiking at the very top.
“Vice Admiral David!” Izumi stated with slight fear. “What is a vice-admiral doing here? This is bad..”
He could not, however, determine who the other figure was behind him, wearing a marine coat with a strange dog-type hat covering the rest of his head; only a wide smile could be seen.
He soon turned back towards the harbor, running nervously. “Something serious is happening here. That thing was right, we need to get out of here, now!” izumi though.
Back at the harbor, however, Yusuke had already encountered the marines onboard his ship.
Yusuke stood at the side of the deck, panting heavily as looked at the marine soldiers. Captain Shuu looked at the boy with suspicious eyes, asking “now what do you want?”
The other four marine soldiers grasped their swords and guns quickly, not knowing what threat this newcomer could bring.
Yusuke was still panting, jumping onto the deck as he pointed a finger towards the marines.
“Get off my ship!”

Kuma wouldnt feel cumpelled to take up Zoro on his deal, and luffy would be in impel down probbly
