RE: Final Fantasy
Seeing as how the only FF game I've ever played is IV, I have to go with that.
I love Kingdom Hearts, but I don't consider it a Final Fantasy.

West Central Indiana can be pretty nice: In the spring and summer, its a semmingly endless sea of green, from cornfields to forests. Staring up at the sky on a summer night is incredible. And in the fall, when the leaves are falling and there's a nice cool breeze blowing…wow.

I saw the topic on people's favorite TV shows, and I was wondering: What shows did you like to watch as a kid?
Garfield and Friends (greatest Saturday morning cartoon EVER)
Beakman's World
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM)
Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?

Ral: I never saw the Clerks cartoon, but that's just plain hilarious. 10/10.
Tony Tony Chopper: Can't go wrong with Chopper. 7/10.

RE: Untitled
I was on Pojo.com's old Digimon boards (before they were axed) a few years ago and saw Chopper on someone's sig. I remember looking at it and thinking, "A bear? With a pink top-hat? What a weird series." And that was that.
Fast forward to last summer. I was at a Borders in Indianapolis, and saw the first volume of OP released by Viz. I was bored, so I decided to check it out. I was hooked. And I now know the Chopper is not a bear; he's a tanuki. :D

I don't think that BB is a bad name, since it IS technically correct (the katakana reads "Bibi"); the same goes for the Greek names (Usopp IS Gus, baby!)

I'd like to change the fact that the Strawhats have been constatnly screwed over since they came to Water 7.
Oh, and the fact that the Going Merry wouldn't always be one step away from falling to pieces.

Here's some quotes from the Nero Wolfe series (Rex Stout), one of the best American detective series ever.
"You are to act in the light of experience as guided by intelligence."
"I carry this fat to insulate my feelings. They got too strong for me once or twice and I had that idea. If I had stayed lean and kept moving around I would have been dead long ago."
"I can give you my word, but I know what it's worth and you don't."
"I am mearly a genius, not a god."
"War doesn't mature men; it mearly pickles them in the brine of disgust and dread."
"I can dodge folly without backing into fear."
"Lawyers can be pests, and often are."
"Innocence has no contract with bliss."
"I resent your tone, your diction, your manners, and your methods; and only a witling would call a man with my conceit a liar."
"As between the intolerable and the merely distasteful, I must choose the latter."
"No man should tell a lie unless he is shrewd enough to recognize the time for renouncing it, if and when it comes, and knows how to renounce it gracefully."
"If you please, Mr. Jarret, no labels. Labels are for the things men make, not for men. The most primitive man is too complex to be labeled."
"Man's brain, enlarged fortuitously, invented words in an ambitious attempt to learn how to think, only to have them usurped by his emotions. But we still try."
-"Gosh, one lousy civilian funeral makes more fuss than a thousand dead men over there did."
-"Sure, the retail business always has more headaches than the wholesale.""Nero Wolfe is investigating the murder…with his accustomed vigor, skill, and laziness. He will not rest until he gets the bastard or until bedtime, whichever comes first."
"An archaeologist is the perfect husband for a woman; the older she gets, the more interested he becomes in her." - Agatha Christie

Signature- Interesting. 8.5/10. -
RE: Untitled
I guess I'll go with Nami, although Robin and Vivi are pretty close behind.
-
RE: Untitled
I REALLY hope that they don't drop it. Its been one of my favorites for years, and I'm finally able to see it.
As for the name changes, I really don't mind them. The only problem is that many of the characters' original names are jokes/puns on mystery writers/characters (Conan Edogawa being the best example).
-
RE: Untitled
Definitely Shouchi no Suki. Its such a fun song. Although "Run, Run, Run!" and "Shining Ray" are pretty good too. And "Glory" is just beautiful.
-
RE: Untitled
While the Logia powers might be cliche, they really don't seem that way. I mean, sure, Crocodile can turn into sand, and Ener electricity, but they still manage to be somewhat original, with Crocodile being able to suck water out of whatever he touches, and Ener indirectly using his powers (using them to heat metal and such).
But, yeah, on the whole the other powers are more interesting. I mean, a fruit that turns you into a door, or separating your body. The Paramecia fruits might not be as strong as the others, they're still extremely cool/original.

RE: Saddest One Piece Moments
Seeing (and realizing) that the Going Merry can't go on anymore. And the Klabautermann's line: "Don't worry. I'll carry you all a little longer."
…all that just makes me upset. :(

-
Arlong: I don't really think I need to explain why.
-
Sir Crocodile: Ditto.
-
Ener: This guy scares me. He has the same disregard for human life as the other two, just multiplied by a hundred. He's definitely psychotic, maybe borderline insane. He not only thinks he is God, but he has the power to back it up. Throughout the Skypeia arc, noone can touch him. It seems that he could actually succeed with his twisted plan to destroy Skypeia…until he meets Luffy.

RE: Untitled
Saucisse Shot (Sausage Shot): A strong kick to a person's gut.
Boules (Balls): Take a wild guess.

RE: Untitled
I guess you can just call me a Luffy/Nami fanboy. And Luffy/Vivi is sort of cute. Although, for some reason, I find the idea of Chopper/Robin VERY interesting.

RE: Untitled
In no particular order:
-
Arlong Park: The darkest, most dramatic arc at the time (in my opinion). Nami's backstory nearly made me cry, and seeing Arlong and his crew get the crap beat out of them by "worthless" humans was priceless.
-
Alabasta: This arc easily contains some of the best fights in the whole series, with Luffy vs. Crocodile (part 3) being the best.
-
Skypeia: What begins as an adventure in the sky turns into a struggle for survival, the denouncement of a false god and his priests, the fullfillment of a 400 year-old promise, and the single best full-page panel EVER.
