i believe that the supernovas and the new world captains will show up in this arc, since I doubt oda would show them all walking away from the broadcast while yelling "father!" about whitebeard to have them not show up, better not cocktease us.

Really? I'm actually the other way around.
The more awesome a story is, I can't wait till it ends.
Especially in manga industry where so many titles either gets dragged out until it loses its flavor, or gets canned before a proper conclusion.
A popular manga getting a proper ending is a blessing!

I'm glad that FullMetal Alchemst and Gantz are wrapping up their epic stories.
I can't wait till Berserk does the same. (hopefully in the next two decades)
