in 2007 i watched an episode of one piece, can't remember which one but it wasn't that impressing. about a year later a cousin of mine showed me a clip of the luffy vs blueno fight and i thought "daaamn, i HAVE to know how this stretchy guy got to be such a badass"
the next day i was reading the first chapter (cuz i didn't really like the colors in the anime) and got hooked.

i'd love bon-clay to be the tenth, since he gets along with luffy, usopp and chopper so well plus his ability is certainly an useful one.
but given that luffy seems to recognize a great nakama prospect at first glance and hasn't asked him yet, i think it will be a completely new character that will join the in the near future. well, as soon as the mugiwaras get back together…

I'm going to have to give my props to Kuleha though. She's 139 years young, can kick your ass, heal you, then kick it again, and doesn't take crap from anyone. Definitely my favorite minor character.

PLUS she trained Chopper! yeah! that's one helluva character

i love the soundtrack, it's just so… i gotta use the word ineffable here... whenever i feel unmotivated i listen to "duel!", "WE DID IT!" or "usopp drop" and get instantly pumped!

oh yeah, and bon clay would be a fun guy to be around on acid

cacti cati no mi (logia)

this is an ability i thought for a character in a comic i was once developing (actually the character got her powers from a pact she made with a cactus in order to survive in a desert she was once stuck in)
well, the thing is she'd be able to turn herself into different types of cacti
so let's say she has to attack someone… THOUSAND NEEDLES (just like catuar from FF!) or she's falling to her death? a flowery type cactus appears to catch her. she could also teleport to specific locations where she had left a seed or something like that!

so, we all have our favorites and characters which we simply hate, but i'd like to know what everyone thinks about some characters that helped the development of the story, yet they were just pretty much disregarded as soon as they left the page (or the episode in case you watch the manga).

i want to give my acknowledgment to mr. 9. he has a pretty cool character design (i mean, he's wearing a crown! just like that guy in archie!) and he'd rather stand up for his friend Vivi than stay a baroque works agent. to me that is pretty ballzy.
