Oh god chapter 700 is the worst thing I've ever read. I honestly thought it was a fake chapter for the first handful of pages.

RE: What Are You Listening To Right Now ? [V2]
For all of you fans of metal out there, here's an excerpt from an amazing live show Skálmöld played together with the Icelandic Philharmonic Orchestra. The 2-hour concert can be found on Youtube in its entirety too, and it's worth it.

Yup Dellinger has a fin, chap 754
I always assumed Dellinger had a Fighting Fish DF, since he's got the horns and a black dorsal fin and everything.

RE: Your duration as a One Piece fan
A relative bought me a Swedish-language volume 1 of One Piece in 2003. In spite of never having read it, because my Swedish isn't good enough, I came across the scanlated version sometime later, during the Water 7 arc.
I think I caught up during the bit directly after Franky's backstory when Lucci and co broke into Iceburg's mansion. (Didn't read the OP)

RE: Official Manga/Anime Recomendation Thread
Thanks it looks interesting . I'll try it out .
Know of any more ? I am currently hunting for slice of lifes mangas so any interesting title is welcome .
Oh my bad. I didn't actually post it as an example of a romantic slice of life manga. It's just a gag manga that I want to recommend for everybody because it's GOLD. It's like One Punch Man meets Cromartie High School.

Good job, Kakashi. THANKS FOR THE HELP.

RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
My heart stops every time an Argentinian goes 1-on-1 against Hummels

RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
Good first half, but also SO nerve-wrecking for a fan of Germany
-
RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
Brazil's defense is like out of some junior team for grade schoolers.

RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
Not a great start for Brazil, lol. I was thinking as long as they pulled themselves together and played some good football in front of a home audience like a bunch of professional athletes should be able to do, the disastrous semi-final could be forgiven, but this doesn't look good.
Edit: wtf I edited a double post and made both posts disappear somehow.

RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
Goddammit Özil, you're the only one who couldn't score
-
RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
I'm just so glad I stayed up to watch this game
I think the Brazilian audience actually gave Germany a standing ovation after that goal. At least that's what the announcer said.

RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
And now it's Neuer's time to shine. Germany is playing pretty damn deadly today.
-
RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
Yeah at this point I just hope there won't be any riots or anything over there.

RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
Brazil needs a time-out or something. I don't know if they have those in football.

RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
Yeeeeeessssssssssss, great goal by Müller.
What an energetic game so far
-
RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
Maybe I was expecting too much after the last round, but this game was SO boring. Still, at least Germany won somehow so that's good.
-
RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
I'll never understand why somebody would rather dive than try to score.

I love the Internet lolThis is great.
Also def pulling for Germany here

RE: Naruto and Bleach V - The Not-So-Final Frontier
I like how Kishi is clinging to his concept that chakra is somehow limited. Everyone's probably run out of chakra 2 or 3 times by now, but they're still casting their spells like nothing happened.
edit: why has there been nigh on 10 years of these threads already

Edinson Cavani makes me a little insecure about my orientation.

RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
taken from FIFA's homepage
Smart move to insult one's trainer during training. Especially if you're a crucial player for the team.
Edit: I still doubt that Portugal will manage to score a goal, much less the number they need to advance.
It's sad to read about what's going on with Ghana. They played awesome against Germany the other day and seemed to ooze team spirit, and I'd have loved to pull for them in the future. I mean they might still do fine against Portugal but it's a bit of a downer.

RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
Both games today were a drag from what I saw. And Suarez needs to be banned from playing anywhere forever. What a psychopath.
-
RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
WELL. If Germany has to lose once, Ghana's not the worst opponent to lose against. They're a likeable team.
Edit: wow, Ghana is PSYCHED.
-
RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
That was the worst header ever, but he scored nonetheless.

RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
There's no way Costa Rica is winning with what they have and how they're currently playing, but I sure hope they can.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Well I may stand corrected! What a pretty goal. Italy really isn't giving it their all, both on offense and defense. Seemed to me like CRC could barely make it out of their half of the field, but they somehow scored first anyway.

RE: Naruto and Bleach IV- Sexy time
Wow, and I thought Bleach was dreadful.

16 chars of Müllleeeerrrrr
The injuries on both sides are really nasty tho :/

RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
I really hope Germany takes the gold this year. Really loved their style of play 4 years ago, and so far it looks like they are not going to disappoint in Brazil either.
Pepe's such a dumbass. Lol.

RE: What manga are you reading and how do you like it? What do you plan to read?
I usually read manga once every week or 2 weeks, so a lot of chapters tend to build up in open tabs.
I usually follow 20 or so different titles, removing things I no longer enjoy from the feed and sometimes looking up new ones. I try to read some new Jump titles, and I'm currently reading Iron Giant and Stealth Symphony, but neither is very good. I liked Cross Manage and Saiki Kusuo and would like the scanlators to pick them up again. I try to look up new cooking and sports manga, as I tend to like those topics.
On and off, I'm also currently trying to get through the spin-off Law of Ueki Plus, which is proving to become a chore, considering I started it sometime last year despite it only having 4 or 5 volumes of content. Before it, I read the original Law of Ueki, which also more or less sucked. Before that, I read Neuro, Slam Dunk and Binbougamiga, all three of which were pretty great, which is why I was on bit of a manga-reading binge and ended up going with Ueki next (I'm not on a manga-reading binge anymore).
My weekly favorites are Haikyuu, Sket Dance (finished in Japan but the translation is lagging behind as usual), One Piece, One Punch Man (Murata's, haven't checked out the original), Mob Psycho 100 and Vinland Saga, and I follow a number of more titles that I usually enjoy reading. Used to like Toriko but it's become shit for a long time now. I'm hoping the new Beelzebub side story will focus on comedy, and if it does, I'll probably be very much into it again. It used to be one of the manga I looked forward to the most, after all.
My list is also big one (near than 60 series with different pace, and some on hold). Instead of posting it, I like to ask Bigivel how did you find Inu Yashiki? I know English scanlation is in ch 2, but Spanish is in ch 6 (both by mangatopia). I have high expectations on that series. It's mindblowing with an usual protagonist, as that geezer.
Thanks for the Inu Yashiki recommendation. Didn't read it yet but I'll def check it out. I acknowledge Gantz turned into a trainwreck a long time ago, but it used to be good, so this one might also be worth a read.

RE: How Much Do Europeans Actually Know About America Thread
Once they called no more flying goalie it was all over.
That was the best school yard move.
It was especially fun in the winter. Everyone wanted to play goalie when there was a foot of snow to dive on. Lots more of dangerous flying tackles too.

RE: Haikyu!!
This thread isn't super active so I just want to throw in my 2 cents. I love Haikyuu. It's my favorite manga currently. It's like the new Eyeshield, with great art, great cast and chemistry, great games, great atmosphere; it's as good as sports manga gets. It's got this lovely sense of energy to it that really reels you in. Chapters 103-105 were once again fantastic.
