I'd be surprised if no one has suggested this already, but I think that Oda either made a planning mistake when he said that there are only 5 devil fruits that allow people to fly, or he plans on counting different models of zoan as only 1 fruit. For example, if Pell has the bird fruit model falcon, Marco has the bird fruit model phoenix, and Lafitte has the bird fruit model swan (Marco and Lafitte unconfirmed), then these would all count as only 1 of the 5 flying fruits. I personally think Shiki's fruit should count as flying, so we could potentially have as little as 3 flying DFs so far: Bird fruit users, insect fruit users, and Shiki.

RE: Chapter 786 : Gatz
On the second to last page of the chapter, as Doflamingo is walking towards the gladiators, Mangapanda translates the sound effects as "wobble wobble," while Mangastream translates them as "step step." Can anybody clarify which of these is more correct? It would help clarify how injured Doflamingo is supposed to be right now.

RE: One Pace
Out of curiosity, do you guys plan on finishing Davy Back Fight before getting back to Sabaody and Dressrosa, or will you get back to them as soon as you're done with Loguetown?
Thanks for the awesome work!

RE: Gear 4th
I haven't read through the entire thread, so I apologize if somebody else has already posted this idea.
My idea is an expansion of the theory that Gear 4th will have Luffy somehow make his body more springy and use a fighting style inspired by Bellamy where he is constantly bouncing off of things to gain momentum. A problem with this theory is that if Luffy was fighting in a wide open area where there aren't many walls Gear 4th wouldn't be very useful because he wouldn't have anything to bounce off of. My theory deals with this issue.
During Marineford, it seems that the 3 admirals were able to combine their haki to make a very large barrier to block one of Whitebeards moves (this could have just been stylization, but at this point it's unclear). The following links show this scene:

http://bato.to/read/_/249319/one-piece-digital-colored-comics_v58_ch564_by_no-group/10I think that Gear 4th will have Luffy manipulating his body somehow to become more elastic and then moving through the air by bouncing off small barriers that he creates with his haki. Since he'll be able to create a barrier anywhere in the air, this will basically let him fly in a way similar to CP9's geppou, except that his momentum will constantly be increasing as he flies, increasing the power of his blows.
During the fight with Doflamingo, Luffy will start off using Gear 4th by bouncing off the bird cage by using haki to harden his feet. As Doflamingo tightens his cage, it will become more and more difficult for him to block Luffy's blows, until he eventually dispels the bird cage entirely to prevent Luffy from bouncing any more. At this point, Luffy will surprise Doflamingo by bouncing off of haki barriers and land the finishing blow.
