thx alot Null ^^ now one more chapter xD btw Onigumo what do you mean by "422 being a double issue"? and what's after that? no more chapter? oô
Double Issue means that Shonen Jump releases only one magazine in two weeks with only one chapter in it.
thx alot Null ^^ now one more chapter xD btw Onigumo what do you mean by "422 being a double issue"? and what's after that? no more chapter? oô
Double Issue means that Shonen Jump releases only one magazine in two weeks with only one chapter in it.
I really like the music playing when the Strawhats are leaving Laboon in ep 63, and in ep 4 when Shanks is leaving. Is it possible to get that music?
Check out this What plays when list from Audity for the track names and then ask again.
Does anyone know the song at the very bottom of this list?
I tried all Movie 2 and the OSTs. Sounds very recurring, but I just can't remember hearing it outside of the show.
That was a tough one. It's 1:27-2:28 of Track 16 - Silent Anger (Shizuka na Ikari) from M&SC4. And Ep74 20:34-21:50 is Overtaken of course. And Track 17 of M&SC2 is called
"Living as fighting to the best is continued" whatever that means.
Btw you're doing a great incredible job. Thanks. Keep going .
i cannot get a hold of this chapter for the life of me, the hq link ain't working, while one mq leads me to mangahelpers the other refuses to work (same old rapidshare story).
Here another mirror for you. http://www.sendspace.com/file/i94tr1
someone said it was already out on dvd.
links?
i wanna get it, tho it's in a 3-way tie fer my favorite. 4+6+7=PWN FTW!
You want the DVD? Then get it here.
If you want DLs, those are out for quite some time. You can try the search button in this thread. Or search it here.
Or if you want check this out.
@SecSeibzehn:
Can anyone tell me the name of the song that plays in Episode 126,
! final episode of the Luffy vs. Crocodile fight, that starts right after Luffy does Fuusen, boosts up towards crocodile, and begins to say ' Gomu Gomu nooo– ' and finishes pretty much at the end of the episode?
I'd really appreciate it. ._.
That's From the New World, Mvt IV - Alegro con fuoco.
K-F released it in FLAC. Get it in their IRC channel from K-F|Robin #275 for example, or wait for the tracker to come back.
Do we know enough about Roger to say that? Luffy's fate to follow in Roger's steps is one thing. But we don't know much about Roger's ambitions and personality. Or did I forget some scene?
I meant the countless eyewitnesses, who mentioned the strong resemblance between Luffy and Roger. Like the chief in Luffy's village (chap 96) and Crocus (chap 105) and Dr. Kureha (chap 154) and Gan Fall (chap 301) and of course Kokoro (chap 400). Of course we've never seen Roger in action to make our own opinion. But at least we know that he fought against the whole world and smiled at his execution like Luffy. @Porter:
However, Luffy and Saul are pretty similar. They both do what they can to protect their nakama. Both have a strong sense of justice, which is quite different from the sense of justice the Marine follows, which turned both against the Marine.
Of course Saul would fight for his friends, but still he is more the considered type, like Nami or Vivi or Paulie or Iceburg. Luffy on the other hand is more the crazy, stubborn, reckless type not thinking about consequences. (like Zoro, Franky, Wiper, …) Also Luffy never cared for justice. He always did what he did to help his friends or follow his dream. Take chap 393 p19 for example. Luffy would never sit there worrying like that. @Demon:
But why would Luffy be so unnerved why Ao Kiji mentioned his grandpa? If his grandpa was Gol, wouldn't Luffy be proud of him?
Unless Luffy doesn't know who his Grandpa is or he promised not to tell anyone. There are unimaginably many reasons for Luffy to sweat like that.
But since Haguar D. Sauro was a Vice Admiral, just like Kuzan (AoKiji) at that time, makes it quite possible for him to owe him a favor.
And Roger was conquering the world at that time, makes it quite possible for AoKiji to owe him a favor. Why was Kuzan promoted to Vice Admiral at that age, if not from dealings with the Pirate King?
Anyway AoKiji mentioned a strong similarity between Luffy and his Grandpa and that they both are/were hard to grasp. And Luffy and Saul aren't very similar (their mentality and sense of responsibility). But the similarity between Luffy and Roger, and Luffy's fate to follow in Roger's steps, was mentioned countless times throughout the story.
So you see? It's not unreasonable to think Roger is Luffy's Grandpa.
It would be unlikely for a Vice Admiral to owe a pirate a favor.
Smoker owes Luffy a favor for rescuing him in Rain Base.
Chopper and Robin getting their DFs and the work of Robin's father might prove to be much more interesting and important than finding out about Zoro's, Nami's, Sanji's or Franky's parents. And also why didn't Usopp's mom accompany her husband on his journey? Was she a burden to Yasopp or did she sacrifice her happiness and dream so that her son can grow up in a safe environment and then died of broken heart? This is all very interesting.
Wow, TOEI made up for the animation in ep.271.
Agreed!!
And here is [maplesnow][one_piece][272][jap_chn][HDTV][RV10].rmvb.
That's Track 20 - Jolly Roger with a Straw Hat (Karaoke) from the One Piece Music&Song Collection 3 starting at 0:24.
@Sven:
Why would they be unstoppable? That implies that nothing could stop them. But it's obvious that something could stop them, as they are but 10 ships with 5 strong (But not strongest) people in charge.
OK, almost unstoppable. I think it's impossible for the SHs to beat the whole Buster Call with mere fighting abilities (unless with spectacular luck). Otherwise the World Govt wouldn't put so much faith in the Buster Call, with only the three Admirals able to trigger it, and Robin, Spandam and the CP9ers wouldn't be so certain about it's ultimate power.
And it makes sense. A suicide operation is the worst kind of attack. There is no viable defence against it.
Yes, a ship is a ship, and 10 ships are 10 ships, working together with strong guys on board to defend them against any kind of projectile/attack. Each separate ship is not invincible, but together they are unstoppable.
So if the Buster Call has the Invincible Armada reputation,…
I thought Buster Call is an attack, not an invincible fleet. As I understand it, the World Govt has many stations in the GrandLine and beyond, where they can launch a Buster Call from, composed of 10 Warships and 5 Vice-Admirals. And those Warships and Vice-Admirals are just the weapons used for this attack, and even if they get destroyed, the World Govt can always launch a new one. It's not an invincible fleet at all, but it's power comes from it's merciless, inhuman nature. It's an attack that devotes everything in destroying the enemy and sacrifices everything to accomplish the mission, even themself. And even if a SH manages to board one of the Warships, they wouldn't hesitate to fire on their own ships to obliterate the enemy. It's like a suicide mission using incomprehensible firepower and flexibility, and there is no plausible way to beat that crazy power.
(unless with similar crazy power like Pluton, Aqua Laguna, the Gate of Justice falling down, etc)
@|AuRoN|:
.rmvb? Use Real Player.
Or MPC. (you need RealPlayer installed)
Thanks K-F for this great episode. It was fun.
Just something I wanted to add. It's Belly and not Beli at 13:26 as Ivotas pointed out here. I never even noticed that before.
Ah, ok~ Thanks :D.
Instrumental should probably be fine. Now I just gotta find 'em…
Kaizoku-Fansubs has released both Singles. There you find it.
He sounded a lot like spandam too…
Keiichi NANBA is the voice actor of Shepherd and Itomimizu, and Masaya ONOSAKA is the voice actor of Spandam and Chew.
I'm going to wait for this to finish dling off Winny.
continues to wait
Could you upload this to MegaUpload or RapidShare or some other file sharing site after you are done? (You can split it with WinRAR or WinZip)
That would be awesome. Thx.
so when will this v2 be avilable? and whats the bonus:wassat:
A surprise is a surprise. Be patient.
uuum, if that 's 640x480 it isnt HDTV….. I wonder why that is the filename....
Anyway
awesome episode!! I can't wait for what's to come!!
You're right. It's full screen. Dunno why maplesnow released it like this this week.
Ok, here is [maplesnow][one_piece][271][jap_chn][HDTV][rv10].rmvb.
EDIT
@Majek:
bah the art is really crappy for the most part, but maybe it's just me but it was decent in that DF eating scene but then turned crappy again.
I second that. I hate that Movie 6 art style. Those sloppy faces and unnatural movements creep me out.
EDIT2 ok fixed with real widescreen
"Mariejoa" ? Had no idea on how to write this. Wickio was supposed to check for me but… Guess he got lazy :p
Don't worry. I don't know how to write it either. K-F uses Mariejoa in Episode 151 and Marijoe in 189.
EDIT and Mariejois in Episode 91.
Didn't they come from Mariejoa, the Marine HQ?
Mariejoa is not the Marine HQ, as you can see here. Mariejoa is the Holy Land where the Gorousei rule over the World Govt, and it's probably located on half of the Grand Line on the Red Line, and that's the only place to return safely from the Grand Line to the 4 oceans, without crossing Calm Belt.
@stephen's:
Norland: SET SAIL!
Set course for Mariejoa, and send word to North Blue!!
We're headin' home for the Lvneel Kingdom!!!
Here you see Norland returning to North Blue, while travelling first over Mariejoa.
Only think I can't figure out is, why is Usopp hacking and coughing so much? :P He didn't do that in the manga.
I think it was just such an emotional moment, that he started crying and swallowed the wrong way, while trying to laugh like the other giants. He was just too enthusiastic for his own good.
And thx for the Episode ADC.
Personally I don't think there's anyhting there the Navy didn't manufacture, but what the hell.
You think the World Govt build the Jutice Gate? I think it was the ancient kingdom. It's too much for the Word Govt.
Thanks for the Megaupload link Wickio and Quexinos.
Edit: Erm, I don´t know if somethings wrong with the file but for over ten minutes now I´ve just been waiting for the final second to pass to finish the download. But nothing happens. Any idea or info on what to do?
Ok megaupload's limit is exceeded and for those who want the raw they can download it from www.saiyaman.info cheers

And of course there are always torrents like this.
This torrent has the Movie 2 OST. Not sure if it's complete though.:wassat:
EDIT Forget that. It doesn't have them either. Just checked. Sorry.
EDIT2 Ok, here it is. This comes from hyakamaru in K-F forum. Much praise to her.

hyakamaru posted it in the previous page ^__^
**News:
Adventure World (ED18) single will be released @ 7/5/2006
Brand New World (OP 6) single will be released @ 7/26/2006**
That should answer your question again.
I don´t give a damn about their crappy families. They were promised to be finished off and they survived. I´m more disappointed to see them alive then returning home to their families. And it does ruin Enel´s deadlines. If he doesn´t kill a single person then he ain´t got a thing called deadliness (if that term exists in the first place) to begin with. Somebody who can´t kill people with his attacks is not what I consider a killer. :sad:
:wassat: Then what about Lucci? He tried to kill Paulie and Iceburg and the FF and they all live. Does that make him less deadly, or was it just luck beyond anyones controll, that saved them all? And what about Buggy in Loguetown? Was he too stupid or careless or weak to kill Luffy then? No, it was a miracle from beyond reason, that saved Luffy. Those things happen all the time on that fated voyage. Love it or leave it.
If they happen all the time so that they're common, they aren't miracles anymore.
No, a miracle is something that usually doesn't happen and sends aid beyond hope in the moment of certain doom. And those miracles wouldn't have happened at all if Luffy weren't around. A miracle is a miracle, and the fact that so many of them happen all the time on Luffy's journey just makes it as a whole miraculous. The whole journey of the future Pirate King is a miracle and there is nothing common about it. I mean that's what's so great about this story. It was fate that sent Luffy to Skypiea in the moment of need and destroyed all of Enel's desires. And nobody, not even Enel himself, can win against fate.
@Ivotas:
I don´t find it any good end if cannon fodder doesn´t surve the purpose they are actually there for. I don´t want to see blood and murder in One Piece but if nobody dies with such attacks then it ruins it for me somehow.
And I don´t by anything about the Bilka thing actually. Who said everyone is dead? Probably Enel told everyone so. And if you spin the web further, Enel is also the guy who was convinced that he finished off the 650 men of Gods Guard. His words don´t have any weight for me if he speaks of who he did finish of with his powers.
No no no, you're looking at it from the wrong direction, I think. Those cannon fodder all have families. And you wouldn't complain or doubt the seriousness of the accident, when your friend gets saved by a miracle from certain death. Instead you would accept it and thank god for it. You should be glad and rejoice with their families, because what happened was a miracle and not Enel's stupidity. We all have seen Enel's attacks and what they did with Angel Island. There's no way you can doubt Enel's deadliness, and you shouldn't need to prove that with death.
But the point is Enel appears as an super villain who see´s himself as god and actually can create devastating attacks such as "El Thor", "Mamaragan" or "Raigoh" and yet his wasn´t able to kill one single person.
Exactly. Enel destroyed his homeland Bilka and killed all it's people. He destroyed Angel Island and was one second short of destroying all of Skypiea with all its people. There can be no doubt of Enel's divine evil devastating powers. But then there came Luffy, Enel's natural enemy, and all of Enel's evil schemes and actions were made undone in the very last second, making it the perfect happy end. That's the power, duty and fate of the future Pirate King, to fight authority (God=ultimate authority) and better the world in the impossible way.:happy:
EDIT
@CosmicDebris:
It doesn't ruin One Piece, it's just FAR too consistent and predictable in that aspect.
It's actually the same with Zoro's "Leave it … to Luck". You can expect miracles to happen all the time on Luffy's journey, but that doesn't make them less awesome.
Of course it's not like they can't die, or that Enel were too weak. But that they survived nevertheless (which seems impossible regarding that power) is huge miracle, which happened at the time when the future Pirate King visited Sky Island. And there is nothing wrong with that. It makes Luffy's memento even greater.
Ah, finally got to watch 191-193 all together. It sure is a glorious finish. Even though I still am slightly irritated by the non-existent fatality rate.
When a character survives something he shouldn't it's called a miracle. And Luffy's journey is filled with miracles and lucky chances. I don't understand it fully myself, but it's fate/luck/miracles that guides Luffy on his way and makes him Pirate King in the end. I don't think you should be irritated about it. A lot of death would only sully Luffy's fame in the end and there's no time for needless mourning on this journey.
@icecold:
what vol. of the manga is the anime on? cuz i want to start from there.
and i herd some place that luffy will get a new power is that true?
Episode 267 ended with exactly chapter 380, so you should start with 381. (only 35 chapters to read) And yes, Luffy has new powers like everyone else. It starts at the end of chapter 387.
@anime_miz:
Hmm.. well I dont really want to clutter up the message board with my query..but as I know it.. there was only a raw releases for the One Piece - End of 2005 Special. I would really love to see it fansubbed…but so far.. I don't think any of the groups picked it up.. I wonder when will I get to see it.
That's TV-Special 4 and it's subbed by Gerusama.
@CosmicDebris:
Wasn't that the one that was mostly just a recap?
The New Year Present 2006 is the recap.
@Octogon:
**Boshi = Hat. Got the idea because in "Oro jackson" oro means gold. which is probaley a play on roger. And boshi can be a play on mugiwara no luffy.
And don is simply the best. Plus it does show importance to franky, who I believe is going to make the ship.
The "don boshi" I like that.**
I thought boshi means star? Usopp's Kayaku Boshi=Gunpowder Star.
SPOILERSPOILERSPOILER
@Steel:
G8 actually fits well into the storyline.
I disagree. G8 looks more than pathetic compared to Enies Lobby with all its elite special forces. It's not worth calling an elite Marine Base of the Grandline. Also it's unthinkable, that the SHs could mess around with one of their elite bases, without reaction of the World Govt, especially after what happened in Arabasta. But most of all, Aokiji was looking for them and Robin, and waited for them on the first island after Cloud End. Was that a coincidence? I don't know, but Toei sure messed that up.
And btw thx K-F. I love your work.
@jccalhoun:
At Episode 187, near the very end, around 21:06 to 21:50
Ok, here it is: Track 21 - After Eating, Grand Line! from the M&S Collection 3.
It also plays at the end of Ep 42, after Luffy finds Nami's room and at the end of Ep 266.
EDIT
@myself:
Track 44 - The, The, The Strongest from Movie 5 OST
Btw, that's Rocketman flying in 267, if anyone wants it. Damn, that was awesome.:happy:
@bobfish13:
and people tend to take calling speed subbers as good as a group like k-f really is an insult.
You are very wrong. Almost all the people out there know, that K-F is simply the best fansubbing group of the world (aone is nothing compared to K-F). That's not personal taste, but a simple fact and you don't need to prove that. Their fansubbing records and continuous super high quality work over the years speak for themself. But even K-F make translation errors from time to time. And for those, who just compare the latest releases form ADC and K-F, it's very easy, to see very little differences in quality. That has nothing to do with speed subbing and it's not an insult for K-F at all, but rather praise for ADC. Are you saying ADC doesn't deserve praise for their great work?
@bobfish13:
and i did watch the first 5 minutes of 266, but couldn't stand the subpar editing at all and stopped watching.
That could be just personal taste, like many dislike the GeruSama fonts. But that doesn't make their subs less good. Like Laeliel said, if you don't have anything constructive to say, then don't come here and stay with the RAW.
What you did, is like going over to the K-F section and bitching, that they are too far behind. That's just intolerable.
