Well yeah i though that too, Ivankov seems to like helping people rather than forcing them to anything so he migth be indeed pissed at the Okamas for forcing Sanji or any other non queer to become a queer.
The same Ivankov that turned that guy (the one seeking revenge for his father becoming an okama) into a woman for attacking him back in Impel Down?

Haha, came here to post this. Does he even GET angry? I think the closest we've seen is Really Determined To Beat Ryuuma. But I'm not sure that counts.
Basically Brook has status effects, Apoo has attacks.
I really like this idea, actually. It would keep his sword skills from becoming redundant, and they WOULD become redundant if he learned to do damage with music.
Plus learning more status effects would mean we get more creative tactics like the way he took out the Flying Fish Riders. Which was awesome. :wub:
To the people saying Brook will learn magic: hasn't Oda said there will never be magic in the OP world? They already have devil fruits and haki and sheer nonsensical awesome to fill that role.
Furthermore there is absolutely zero evidence that the people on that island know the first thing about successfully using magic even if it does exist. If they really COULD use magic, they would have actually summoned something - they didn't. It looks like they pretty much just did the equivalent of killing some chickens and reciting some superstition, and now believe that Kuma teleporting Brook to that island was something they did themselves because they don't know any better.
I've said this before, I know: Brook already has two areas of combat skill, music and swordplay. Making it three would just be messy, character-concept-wise, especially since Oda isn't even done showcasing the musical powers yet. Dragging souls back from the dead for his own benefit seems pretty out of character too, as glad as he was to see his crew buried properly so they could rest. If people had any justification for "Brook will obviously have demon powers" besides "he looks like a skeleton," I might buy it. But Thriller Bark made a pretty clear point that Brook isn't the kind of person he looks like. Oda has written him as a happy guy who loves sunlight and is terrified of the supernatural (and just happened to have had a really horrific accident with his DF power), not some goth demon-powered Grim Reaper.

Haha, I've been hoping for this. He's so over-the-top obsessed with women that the only logical conclusion is to become a pretty princess himself!
This might save his character for me.
I was neutral about Spandam until I started rewatching Enies Lobby. The scene in his office with half of CP9 acting bizarre while he tries to keep order was actually a lot of fun, and I say this as someone who doesn't like CP9.

I'm not sure if this was just a displaced perogative, but Sanji's "gentlemanly" attitude lost all merit for me there.
Seconded, ugh. And let's not forget how badly Sanji wanted the invisibility fruit so he could see women naked without their consent.
