I don't pay much attention, so this might have been mentioned before somewhere and I missed it, but I have always wondered if Gaara's gourd is supposed to resemble a tanuki's balls.

EDIT: Well, I did some searching, and I found out that gourds are often associated with tanuki. Sometimes they just have a gourd (because of some story about wine or something), but other times they are said to have gourd shaped balls. So yeah, I guess so. I always wondered but forgot to look it up until this conversation about Gaara's eyes reminded me.

Gourd shaped ballls…....how is that possible!? That would be like a cell but it's splitting in two, but stops mid way.....or is it four balls but two stuck together!? So a tanuki would have quad-balls!?

I believe one piece will be something entirely different than what anyone speculates it will be, we will probably get more clues as to what it is as the story continues….this is obvious though, i would be rather disapointed if it was something so obvious....very un-oda like =/.

They were going to make a second season, but i heard the director died or w/e so they just ended the show and everyone quit.

It probably would be still going up to this day if the director never died =/.

Hopefully someday they remake the show from the start with better art and such and catch up with manga that would be sweet :D.

Intrusion! Hello there, I just finished watching the Berserk anime series. First thoughts are, yep, definitely rated M. Second, I was extremely pissed off that with the ending and how there was no explanation on how Guts survived. Third, I was also pissed because of all of the deaths. ;_: To hell with Griffith.

My curiosity has got me wondering where I would need to read to continue with the anime storyline. Also, I understand that it would probably be better to read the manga form the beginning, but I would still like to know where I would be. Help would be appreciated.

You should really read from the beggining, i heard volume 11 was excluded and many key characters up to volume 12 were also excluded. So it would make sense if you start from volume 1 . Plus you get to check out berserk's amazing art XD.

Yes zoans are activated manually…But zoans are not logia.

I like the breath Theory, but i also maybe have a idea of how they go about changing into thier elements.

I think it only happens when their body physically changes form…such as them being cut in half...or shot...or maybe even ripping them in half(ouch)...BUT when something hits them...say...a punch...it does not change thier form or morph their body in any way.

So logia users...against these attacks do not change their form, but they manually change it to avoid these simple attacks for obvious reasons, to avoid damage.

If you wanted to break a logia user apart, you would need to find thier elemental weakness.On the other hand you wanted to beat the crap out of them, you would just need to catch them off guard.

So luffy in gear 2 could EASILY catch them off guard due to his speed.Since none of his moves actually physically change the form of the users they wouldn't turn into their element unless activated manually.
