@sabret00the:
i'm not quite sure how you arrive at your conclusions to be honest.
Franky, maybe. Nami, sure. Luffy, almost. Zoro and Sanji no way on earth. by far Usopp has the easiest dream to realise. it's not a matter of being the strongest or bravest or travelling, it's just a matter of being brave or strong and it's by far the easiest to measure.
Sanji has no idea where All Blue is, all he knows is that he must have faith in his captain to lead him there. Zoro has no idea what the difference in strength between him and Mihawk is, all he knows is that by following his captain he'll get the necessary experience required to become strong enough. Luffy doesn't have any idea how many battles or obstacles he's going to face. Robin's dream is based on pot luck at this moment in time. You really can't compare the dreams.
First I was not talking which dreams were easier to achieve. First I was talking wich dreams were easier to see progress, and knowing that you are doing the best to achieve. And second, how the specific skills would help that.
Sanji's best shot is to travel around the Grand Line to find All Blue. He is doing that. He is on perfect tune to his dream. I'm not saying that its easy to find All Blue, but the path is clear, no doubts.
Zoro needs to train as hell to become stronger, and being sided with a potential Pirate King is his best shot to achieve the experience as well. And he is already very strong, and "just" need to become more strong. And if Luffy get in the way of his dream he will just leave him (one of his first quotes)! The path is clear!
@sabret00the:
Usopp's is simply to not shake in battle, that's something that no amount of experience will fix, that's something to do with your heart and Usopp's is weak because he deems it so.
You see how difficult is to Ussop became brave? "no amount of experience will fix". Its nothing something you can gain through training, or life, or effort, or lucky! "It's something to do with your heart". That is fucking difficult! Ussop is in the middle of huge battles with guys exchaging blows that would pulverize him in a second. And he just have to not shake in battle to be brave? Come on! This is not bravery, this is inconsequency.
What's brave? How you measure it? How you live by that? (Reminds me of Hajime no Ippo "What is strengh?" motto). It's tough for some weak, coward, insecure pal to became brave and even recognize it. What Ussop needs to do to became a brave warrior? That is what I think is harder to tell. It's not an objective goal, its a way of life!
