Funny stuff, I'd recommend it. The author is a writer from Cracked and the tone throughout is pretty similar to Cracked articles.

I finally finished everything - took me 68 hours or so… (this includes getting all the words which is honestly the longest part but not quite as frustrating as getting all coins as in Pirate Warriors 1... but the randomness factor can still be ugh).
Was fun though, I enjoyed the game overall though kind of disappointed in some of the lame move sets of some bosses.
! Seriously Aokiji, what have they done to you…?
Kind of miss Unlimited Adventure now - I remember bosses being more challenging in that one.
Never got to play the Cruise games… so this was fun to play an adventure game with an updated roster anyways. Some things felt like a step backwards, not a huge fan of the Batmanesque dodge/counter mechanic. I definitely prefer dodging as it is done in Pirate Warriors 2
^ FYI, the later boss quests are like that too.
My tip for evading Whitebeard's special is to save your own and use it when he uses his for the short invulnerability period. I can never get the dodge down right either and tend to do it by luck. Funny thing - Ace sucker punched me during Whitebeard's special which knocked me out of the blast radius saving my life lol
Also Ace's special used to be the one that always got me… he and Buggy tend to unleash their specials the moment I'm standing next to them. But I've learned to read Ace better and run the hell away from him when I see him jump to the middle.
On a second note. Someone met Smoker? I sure didn't yet. I read on the web it's a random encounter but I wonder if there's some way to increase the chances to find him or the random town fights.
If you're still looking for Smoker see below:
! He and Tashigi show up after the 8th town brawl in town - which should be versus the marines. It's just a boring QTE event so nothing special and not worth it unless you're after the trophy for all characters seen.
! The 8th time is not certain but it's a number that shows up a lot on gamefaqs and was my personal 8th town brawl as well. To get the town brawls you have to idle/wander town for 20-30 minutes then will see black smoke appear. Go to the smoke to start the brawl. Talking / visiting shops pauses the timer I believe. I just went around balloon hunting and shouting morning to people when I did it - also exploration for crates/chests. Otherwise just leave the game on in town while you're off to cook dinner or whatever.
So San Diego was pretty much on fire for the last couple days. With triple digit heat and extreme drought its been a prime example of conditions for fire season.

About 8 or so wildfires were burning simultaneously. I took a picture of the one in Carlsbad as we evacuated at work.

@CCC:
That was actually kind of me, tonight. :P
NG+ spoiler
! I died to the Sinner twice while fighting with Lucatiel and other real-life phantoms. Just from sloppiness and panicking when Lucatiel was taking too much damage. Finally succeeded on the third try by just resolving to be a total tank (red-eye ring, of course) while Lucatiel and my buddy did all the damage on both the Sinner and the two pyros that show up.
! I honestly don't know how I could possibly win that fight (pure melee) without the help of a real person. Let alone keep Lucatiel alive.
! Going to attempt the Rotten and Flexile with Lucatiel tomorrow.
Late reply here but finally did the Lucatiel and Benhart quests myself (Also on NG+) and yeah… that fight was frustrating.
! I had to resort to using another human player for both that and Flexile Sentry. Though I think Flexile I could have made it work solo with Lucatiel if I didn;'t have the red eye but I was afraid of her dying since I've heard the quest glitching for a lot of people. But with the red eye - oh holy crap having two ninjas AND the boss all wailing on you is scary. I actually somehow survived after getting stun-locked into a corner. I just held onto my shield for dear life while Lucatiel and the player phantom managed to relieve me.
! Lost Sinner on the other hand there was really no winning with just myself and Lucatiel. Without the red eye ring she would die pretty quickly. With it, having to dodge both pyromancers and the boss was too tricky. I almost managed once since Lucatiel managed to distract a pyromancer for me. Then she decided to go after Lost Sinner instead putting all the pressure back on me and I died…
Having another player finally solved it.
! Benhart was extremely frustrating on Lost Giant (apparently Throne Watcher and Defender doesn't count for his quest? Cause when I defeated them as my third boss he didn't give me anything). Half the time he died due to the bombardment or the rolling building. I'd hang back to try and keep his AI from charging ahead but nope. He loves to charge. When I finally won without him dying it was because he spent the first half of the memory glitching out at the fog gate. He only finally headed toward the boss after I already whittled him down to 3/4 hp. So was able to finish him off quickly while Benhart drew his attention. I even had the red eye ring and the guy still was the one tanking, heh.
On Fashion Souls - I've changed my looks since I last answered. I really love the appearance of the Drangleic knights so I've adopted Syan armor for the gold armor + white cape. Then Arms/Legs I either stick with Syan as well or go for King's Boots/Gloves or Veldast (sp - the large gold knight boss before Vendrick). Head I like to use a brigand hood. Kind of reminds me of Orlandu from Final Fantasy Tactics but with golden armor.
Then sometimes (when want a slight boost to cast speed) I will go for a black/gold color scheme of Black Hood (Straid's hood) and Veldast (sp) for the rest. Gotta admit Straid's whole set is pretty darn nice looking. I like Lucatiel's set as well though doesn't really fit my character.
I'm still slow and wrapping up missing stuff I missed before I head to NG+ (some rings and spells). But after a couple rings I think its about time to head to NG+. And thanks for the note on getting the covenant spells DarthAsthma, those and the NG+ ones are the only ones I am missing now. I did finally beat the optional bosses (except I didn't even try the one atop Dragon Shrine since just getting there is annoying in itself). I also kinda want to try a new character with a different build at the same time. My STR/Faith knight is probably more than ready for NG+ though with a Lightning Defender Greatsword + 5 and a Lightning Dragon Chime and tons of Great Lightning Spears and 4 Sunlight Spears. Noticed a ton of bosses have lightning weakness this game.
Also this video was awesome (NG+ Castle Drangleic spoilers) - I was wondering why I saw so many bloodstains in that area in NG lol.
!
Have people here played around with the boss weapons? I've been especially looking at faith(lightning weapons) and the defender greatsword did the best for me.(Faith:50,Str:20,Dex:20)
I also looked at the Moonlight greatsword which I'm not a fan of. Not sure if there are any standouts in there. I've only traded I think 6 weapons so far despite owning almost all souls 2 times. Also does someone know how to open the gate at the rise of the dead bonfire(up the stairs)?
Been rushing through NG+ like a madman and boy is it long. I'm not sure if I have it in me to instantly start the NG++ for the last spells. Probably need a break. All in all I have to say NG+ is definitely tons more interesting than it was the previous games.
–----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh my god... Dark Souls you're the best. Holy crap I just found the best armor. xD! http://i.imgur.com/hrOsBbLl.jpgSorry for the bad image quality I don't have capture equipment for my ps3.
Late reply here since I been playing the game but yeah Defender Greatsword seems to be the best faith weapons when infused with lightning thanks to the S in lightning at +5. Haven't seen anything better myself but it's good and also saves me a slot from using Sunlight Blade since the two-handed L2 is pretty much its own version of Sunlight Blade. I then use a Sun Sword +10 (no infusion) as a back up weapon when I need something speedy and physical. Been working for me so far. I managed to beat NG and am now going through the optional bosses I skipped:
! Vendrick caught me off guard and pretty much one hit killed me. I think it's late since I keep mistiming my rolls and getting myself killed. Will aim for him again tomorrow. Otherwise I need to go through the Chasm of Old. Last time I went the NPCs killed me and I got frustrated at wasting humanities so decided to leave to endgame. Feel more confident I can take them now that I've upgraded both weapons and miracles. Back then I was still using Drangleic and regular lightning spear.
Also grats on the platinum. I missed the NPC quests you had to summon since I was pretty much hollow the entire time except for when coop rarely turned me human. Oh well, a reason to do another playthrough I guess. But I actually feel more like replaying Demon Souls for some reason….
I had a question for the all miracles/hexes/spells/pyromancies trophies. I know there were some ridiculous ones like Wrath of Gods having an insane amount of rank up required as a covenant reward. Are all such spells available by other means through bosses in NG+ or such? Which spells are these and what bosses?
Sunlight spear doesn't matter - I have like 60 medals from all the cooping haha.
I hear CCC on the frustrating hosts that rush into death though. It's about 50-50 between good hosts and the impatient imo.
Finally beat the Smelter Demon
! I beat Iron Keep yesterday but could not beat this guy. Using rolls + 2 handed Zweihander would get me to about 20% hp left and then I would mess up and die, get glitched into a wall and die, or just die from the gradual fire chip damage and unable to find time to heal since he refuses to use his AOE when I want him to. But whatever I took the easy way and got a Grym Greatshield to roflstomp him. Now as a sunbro I can tank him for others too. Was darn annoying geting pulled into Ratbros' worlds in Doors of Pharos. If I didn't get backstabbed immediately then I got toxiced by the dogs or was busy trying to dodge the elephant while trekking through the water…. was frustrating.
! Anyways, I went back into the Smelter Demon room after killing him thinking to put down my sign and whoa, The Pursuer returned! And with a pretty nifty ring drop!
What armors have you guys been using? I've stuck with the alva armor (+3) for a long ass time although I don't use the helmets because I don't put any points into vitality. Been using the archdrake set now but I'm not sure if I'll stick with it.
Do you choose based on gameplay or cosmetics?
I used Drangleic for the longest time (still using the sword) because I like the looks and great stats too. I'm really happy to have capes that actually move in this game - was disappointed in the silver knight set in Dark Souls 1. Then in Iron Keep I really digged the enemys' armors and donned their looks for a while. Now I am using Alva armor, Vengarl helm (Dog helmet), Enchanted Gauntlets (Chance to crit), and swap between Elite Knight leggings and Vangarl leggings depending on my weapon/shield/ring load out.
I'm happy with this set since I wanted red in my character's color scheme since I am playing him as an Heir of the Sun Str/Faith paladin. Red/Gold would probably be my ideal color scheme but haven't found anything better looking than my current set yet.
For weapon I am now torn among Black Knight Great Sword, Zweihander, Black Knight Halberd, and Drangleic Sword. I've been using Drangleic forever and I love and am used to its moveset. I tried switching to Black Knight Halberd and it works too, though things I could one shot with mt Drangleic get two shotted if I am turtling with the halberd. And if I attack without turtling I almost always get hit, not used to its moveset. So, I think I prefer a sword. I do like fire damage and my fire bonus is pretty nice so leaning toward black knight great sword, though I do prefer the slightly faster speed of Drangleic. Ideally, I could just equip both and switch to whatever is needed in the situation but then I'd need to lighten my armor and I like my current set cosmetically, heh.
@Xen:
I've played three characters now: pure dex, pure strength, and now this weird magic hybrid. The first one I dropped after the The Last Giant, as it wasn't any fun and I was dying a lot. The second was fine, but I got bored with it and quit after The Shaded Ruins boss. This one, just beat the first Brightstone boss, and it has been fun the entire way through, mainly due to the flexibility.
Alrighty, that's a lot of stuff, but I obviously really love playing this character. Magic was never fun for me in Demon's or Dark Souls, but here it's a blast.
I played a spell sword in Dark Souls 1 and it was fun, even if it made things easier compared to my melee only experience with a lack of options for range/damage to pierce armor. Ornstein and Smough still killed me a ton before I learned their pattern (was my first character) but I definitely have an easier time with that character than with my melee.
Basically I had minimum STR/DEX needed for Moonlight GreatSword (which is darn low requirements for its high damage output with high int), rest I dumped in endurance, health, attunement, and of course int.
Until I got that sword I rolled with Moonlight Butterfly Horn which worked efficiently enough as a mage's option for melee.
Spells I rolled with were typically Homing Soul Mass, Soul Spear, Great Magic Shield, and arrows or such.
Then when I got DLC and NG+, things became even more awesome with dark magic, and the sword gotten from the black dragon's tail. I think I had to buff my str/dex to use that sword but it was worth it simply because I was able to enchant it with Crystal Magic Weapon which I can't do with MLGS, so it actually ends up with even higher damage output than the MLGS, at least at the stats I last left the character with. But yeah, I love Spellsword builds since I enjoy the combat of Dark Souls against regular enemies, but agaisnt bosses I tend to panic and mess up. So it's nice to have magic as an option for damage dealing (and will usually have all spells available since I melee'd all the mobs on the way), and then when magic runs out (if the boss is still alive), can finish them off with some melee, but won't need to do a full gauntlet so I am less likely to mess up.
That said, in Dark Souls 2 I wanted to do something different so STR/Faith it is… and so far my only offensive spells are Lighting Spear, and the AOE. The AOE actually comes quite in handy for bosses with mobs. Lightning spear seems to be a lot better in this game than before, it's still a little sluggish but not nearly as bad as in Dark Souls 1.
Yeah, I'm not usually into the multiplayer of Dark Souls, but I have been having fun doing co-op runs. Though it gets frustrating when the host opens a trapped chest and dies. I try all sorts of gestures to try and get them to understand the danger. I've done the 'No Way' gesture, approach the chest as they do and roll away, etc.
Quite a few have caught onto my caution!
@Thousand:
I really liked the game. It's a testament to it's brilliance that during the epic raid of the Final Boss's fortress, you have to climb up a gay man's ass.
I think my biggest complaint is the game doesn't have a lot of replay value. Like is it worth it to play as another class when it's just going to be the same side-quests and story. The only deviation I saw from my first playthrough was whether you sided with Cartman or Kyle which probably leads to the same ending anyway.
Yeah, it leads to the same outcome. I liked the game enough to want to play a second time to pick up trophies I missed (most had to do with wearing certain equipment or such during boss battles). Also tried a different class and I do think the classes play differently enough due to their abilities but at the same time you are right not much else changes so not really worth replaying immediately. That said, I can see myself picking it up again later on when the jokes aren't as fresh just as I would do any south park episode.
Really love the game though, excellent atmosphere that replicates the show in looks, feel, and all. Plus amazing music. I still enjoy seeing conversations about the game even if I personally moved onto Dark Souls 2 now. (The short length of the game was a good thing in this case imo since it gave me time to move onto other games and never got stale).
Seeing all the references around made me feel nostalgic to rewatch some episodes even - especially chinpokomon haha. Easily the best collectibles.
I was playing the game and enjoying it for a while - mostly cause I was playing while at the same time watching the olympics I guess. But now that I'm not watching anything it's kind of hard for me to find motivation to play the game so I guess the repetition bothered me more than I realized. I got up to the start of Enies Lobby. Just don't like how long and boring the dungeons can be. Boss fights were great but all the lesser mobs just became the same after a while and found myself running past them to reach the boss.
I skip all scenes now - they are just way too long and don't really do a great job at retelling the story (as expected in this kind of format).
That was great. It would have been hilarious if they hit new game instead of continue after the credits and lose all their progress. They almost did.
Holy crap… did they really release 11 pokemon for Zapdos? Was Digrat among them?
yes, and 12 actually.

Nice find! I got a few requests within minutes of signing up, and a lot of the people I requested accepted pretty quickly too. Thanks.
Has anyone figured out a better way to train post game than Battle Chateau or Elite Four?
I've been using the 2/3 star restaurants (depending on level) and doing rotational battle.
I have my elite-4 beating veteran Doublade or Talonflame take the lead with the 2 pokemon i want to focus on leveling in slots 2 and 3. other pokemon that need leveling on the other slots but 2-3 will get the most exp. Then I just have Doublade/Talonflame kill everything while the other 2 pokemon are out of harm's way but get exp as if they were out for the battle.
By the way, I've seen some of you guys use an egg hatching O-Power, but I never got that power from the guy who kept darkening the room to "bond" with you. Does anyone know where you learn it?
Apparently has to do with style.

GTS is good for getting starters you don't have anyways. I've seen a lot of lvl 1 starter for lvl 1 starter trades. And like every pokemon desired always has someone wanting Xerneas…. its ridiculous.
And FYI added all those who said they added me - thanks.
For Wonder Trade I usually send out Zorua or Eeevee. I've gotten back: Noibat, Alakazam, Eevee, Machop, and some others I didn't really care to remember but it was always fun.
Hi guys,

My Safari is Steel and I know 2 of my pokemon are Magneton and Metang.
Feel free to add me and let me know if you do so I can add you back (preferably PM as not to clutter the topic.)
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Radiant Historia I've heard was good, so I'll most likely check that one out; Kid Icarus was something I was looking into as well. Thanks for reminding me about Jump Ultimate Stars as well. I played that before on a friend's DS and loved it. Will look into all the other suggestions too. Would Kirby Mass Attack still be fun for someone college-aged? I still enjoy Return to Dreamland for the wii anyways, though Epic Yarn seemed a little more on the kiddish side.
Donnel Emblem: Awakening Fire Emblem: Awakening. Been an awesoem game, probably my new favorite of the series. Radiant Dawn and just Fire Emblem for GBA were my favorites before (the one with Hector, Eliwood, and Lyn).
So I got a 3DS for Fire Emblem Awakening and was wondering if there are any other games people would recommend me to get? (For DS as well as 3DS)
I'd probably prefer to play RPGs on 3DS. Already got Dragon Quest 9, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, and Chrono Trigger.
The Queen's Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner is awesome. I'm on the third book right now, though the first two were really good. Both are good page turners; read each in about 2 days each.

Can some of you fantasy readers name some series, for instance, such as your favorite fantasy series to date? I'm working security on a film the next month or so and I wanna go by the bookstore (order online, whichever) and pick up something fantasy for when I'm sitting bored in my vehicle.
For Fantasy series my favorites are….
Chronicles of Prydain by Lloyd Alexander
@goodreads.com:
The Chronicles of Prydain, based on Welsh mythology, have become the standard of excellence in fantasy literature for children. Since The Book of Three was first published in 1964, young readers have been enthralled by the adventures of Taran the Assistant Pig-Keeper and his quest to become a hero. Taran is joined by an engaging cast of characters that includes Eilonwy, the strong-willed and sharp-tongued princess; Fflewddur Fflam, the hyperbole-prone bard; the ever-faithful Gurgi; and the curmudgeonly Doli—all of whom become involved in an epic struggle between good and evil that shapes the fate of the legendary land of Prydain.
Just really loved this series as a whole. Great memorable characters, fantastic setting, and was quite an adventure to follow from beginning to end. Really liked the way each book intertwined with the next and you could actually see the consequences and effects of characters' actions from the previous books unfold even in the later books.
and if prefer something for a slightly older audience
Death Gate Cycle by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman
@Wikipedia:
The Death Gate Cycle is a seven-part series (heptalogy) of fantasy novels written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. The main conflict is between two powerful races, the Sartan and the Patryns, which branched off from humans following a nuclear/anti-matter holocaust. Centuries prior to the events of the series, the Sartan attempted to end the conflict by sundering the Earth into four elemental realms, and imprisoning the Patryn in a fifth prison world, the Labyrinth. The Sartan took up stewardship of the elemental realms, but soon mysteriously lost contact with each other and disappeared. Centuries later, a Patryn known as Xar escaped the Labyrinth, and started returning to the Labyrinth to rescue others. He learned how to access the other worlds and dreamed of freeing all his people from the Labyrinth and conquering the other worlds. The books follow the fiercely independent Haplo, a Patryn agent sent to scout the elemental worlds and throw them into chaos in preparation for his Lord's conquest of them. Weis and Hickman created five distinct fantasy worlds during the course of the series, along with developing the cultures of five major races: their unique Patryn and Sartan, and the common fantasy races of dwarves, elves, and humans.
When I read the series I didn't even know it had the whole background of a nuclear holocaust, its definitely a fantasy world. ( I picked up the series in the middle since the library didn't have the earlier books. The books have annotations that explains earlier events and such so its easy to follow even if pick it up later on.) What drew me to this series is the magic. It's quite fascinating to me; its based on possibilities and selecting from a pool of these possibilities to make something happen.
I think the first 2 were posted here before but only just now realized there's a third one.
And thought htis was both horrifying and funny.

I know I am terribly late to the party here but Uncharted is fantastic. Finished the 2nd one in two days while on New Year break, and playing through the third now. It's a nice game to come home to after work.
I believe Rhataghast was merely mentioned in the Hobbit at best, but he did show up (briefly) in Fellowship of the Ring (book).
Necromancer I think is another case of was just mentioned but not shown, but this one I'm not as sure about.
Crash Bash for the PS1. Say what you want, but it's really fun and kinda underrated.
I'm trying to get perfect percentage (it goes beyond 100%) in adventure mode, by getting everything. Some of the challenges are really hard that I'm tempted to throw my controller out the window. And I'm doing it single player, so that makes a little tricky.
It is definitely awesome. I haven't played it in a while though since its so much more fun in multiplayer. Though now you make me want to pick it back up and fly solo! I remember really enjoying the game where there are 4 goals and the object is to defend your own while scoring on the others. Good luck on the perfect completion!
I actually enjoyed the beginning the most. When the dwarves came, the song, etc. I liked the movie overall and any gripes I had were minor. I don't mind the CGI too much but the Goblin King and the orc really stuck out and in a way ruined the immersion but oh well. Rhadagast seemed…odd but it was okay. Though, did he have that weird rabbit sled in Fellowship of the Ring (Book)? I don't remember. I thought I recall him with just a horse.
But I liked the movie a lot, I pretty much went in with zero expectations so I wasn't disappointed! It was a fun adventure and Bilbo is such a fun hobbit, I really enjoy him. Going to have to go back and reread the book now.
Been a fan of the Total War series. Last game I've played from the series was Shogun 2 (and the Fall of the Samurai expansion which is almost a completely different game… an awesome expansion in that sense).
But I've since moved on to the older and cheaper, Rome: Total War. I'm completely addicted already. Hope the sequel coming out will be even better!
Love this show. I own all 3 seasons and already watched them all this year but would love to watch again, it's great stuff. If time permits, I'll join in. I'd say it might take a few episodes to get hooked on the show for newcomers; the pilot was funny but not up to par with the rest (imo) but its a good introduction to all of the characters. I think it was around episode 2 or 3 when I knew I was hooked. (Though I originally seen a chunk of the series when it aired on TV too, so I already knew it was really funny =] )

Happy birthday, iPenguin!
I know I've rarely, if ever, had any exchanges with you but you're a really cool member and I enjoy reading your posts whenever I see them. I hope you had a great day. =)
Thanks everyone, I appreciate it. =] It's been a pretty cool day, thanks for adding to it!
I'm kinda sad I was never assigned to read 1984 - always wanted to just haven't gotten around to it. Should put that on my list.
I liked a TON of the books assigned in school. Sometimes it was pretty awkward because I could tell everyone else just watched the movie when we had to talk about the books in discussions or presentations. I wasn't the type to call them out on it either, I mean I've done it before, just rarely.
But among my favorites read in school would be:
Clockwork Orange (probably at the top of my list for literature read in school)
Huckleberry Finn (probably read this a gazillion times for school but loved it each time. Also really like how the older you get the more you take away from the book. I first read it when I was really young and of course most of the themes flew over my head)
Fahrenheit 451
Lord of the Flies
Animal Farm
Things Fall Apart
Read a lot more of course but those stood out to me.

As for currently reading, I'm still into young adult fantasy for now and am going through the Dark is Rising Sequence. I'm on the second book which takes place during Christmas, so hey, fitting. This series (at least so far) is a fantasy adventure that takes place in the modern world. An evil force called the "Dark" seemingly possesses people to fight against the "Old Ones" which seem to be timeless magical beings which may be known from tales (for example, Merlin is in one though he is disguised as an old man). In the first book, a trio of kids find an old map to the holy grail which their nearby neighbors, possessed by the dark, go to extreme lengths to try and steal from them. The second book follows a new hero, though Merlin returns. This new hero however seems more interesting for he is gifted with magic, unlike the kids of the first book.
Also forgot to mention last time I posted here, but over the summer I read Outlaws of the Marsh which is awesome but so incredibly old as can be gathered by the misogyny within the book. Despite that, its a good read about 108 outlaws banding together against a corrupt government. Whats interesting though is I probably only felt like a couple of the bandits could really be called heroes or wrongly labeled as outlaws due to the corrupt government. Still, they had amusing personalities and characters so I liked reading about them anyways. But so many of the bandits deserve to be outlaws (again the misogyny plays part here, where the author tries to excuse the bandit's murder on the basis that the woman he killed is an adulteress). Nevertheless, it was an interesting read and one of the four classic Chinese novels. (I've now read 3 of the 4,
Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Outlaws of the Marsh, and Journey to the West).
Wow, pretty awesome. I actually like how he did the skulls a lot. That's how you strike fear into the hearts of your enemies! Brook's symbol looks like himself hahaha.
Wait so is it DW8 the trailer was for because it says there it's DW7? Confused.
Dynasty Warriors 8 is titled as 7 in Japan from what I understand.
Edit: Guy above me explained better.
I liked 7 personally, but I've always played musou games single player so that may factor in. However I did miss the ability to replay story levels with any character I chose - or heck even choose from that faction at least. I liked a lot of the new characters (Zhong Hui for example. Though maybe I just really liked the flying swords…) though I absolutely despised Bao Sanniang. shudders
Though after conquering Conquest Mode I don't have any real desire to play through it again so I'll probably only ever go through story mode a few times again when I pick it back up again. So Empires would probably be a better investment for me.
