For someone who likes to use the word bad writing you should really read what you write lol.

First of all the SH literary lost to BM pirates they escaped and did what they did thanks to former BM members (Capone, jinbe) so if anything BM pirates wrath/ reputation should be first and foremost directed toward them. They were former BM pirates and BM needs to show the fate of anyone that betrays her. You could have a valid argument towards something that actually makes sense at least.

Sometimes using your brain before writing wouldn't harm you. I mean get your facts correctly before writing. Just coming at typing none sense all the time without anything actually backing it up is like you say bad writing.

Finally if are so adamant on getting the ship destroyed then there are better ways to do it. Let's see for example just destroy it in front of the SH right when they arrive to cause an impact. Just destroying the ship for the sake of destroying it is just plain stupid.

Wow I can't believe that now not burning the ship is an issue for some users. I mean seriously?

Why would you want to chase someone all over the island when you know where he will appear?

Also I don't know if you have been following a differe series but it has been established since fishman island that having resources is important if you are a yonkou since they are on constant wars and lose ships to pirate attacks so why would anyone in their right mind just burn the ship. Keep in mind that Luffy and co lost without Luffy seeing BM and it's pretty clear they will lose in a battle there is no reason to overreact to such an extent.

The argument with Luffy was more of a fight between them than anything else :). And him acting hysterical is more of quirk than going crazy over something. Wrll at least that's the way I see it :).

The problem with that is that developing a perfect parent for the Togepi line is significantly more annoying, given that Togepi that hatch count as baby pokemon and as a result are unable to breed, meaning he'd have to happiness evolve togepi babies until obtaining an ideal parent.

As for competitive shinies, even though I don't actually battle much I like the ability to be able to have competitive pokemon so that if I want to make the choice to battle with my pokemon the option is there already. If there's a shiny I really like (ninetales, ampharos) it's really nice to be able to use it and make it as perfect as I can.

togepi line is just there to check if the pokemon that hatched is female. Since he is swap breeding its just a check to see if the roll gives you that 12.5%female. i believe he is breeding with a ditto so it shouldnt matter to get that perfect pokemon as long as you can tell which ivs from each parent pass down.

I know, I was talking about my own preference. For me getting a shiny is like getting a rare collectible; I want it in mint condition =P

I don't need an intermediate step for the Salandit though; Magikarp works fine. All I do is when I hatch a shiny, I count how many eggs it was since saving (I do intervals of 30). Let's say egg 19 was shiny. I will reload my save, collect 18 Magikarp eggs, then withdraw Magikarp and save. Now I can replace Magikarp with anything and the very first egg I take will be shiny. So if it was a female Magikarp, there is a 1/4 chance it would be a female Salandit and I can just swap one in and test it. If it's a male, or if the Salandit still comes out male, I just swap something else to make shiny. I test for desired abilities in the same way. It's like an extra 30 seconds to check per mon.

Foolio since you are using swap breeding quite a lot i have couple of question if you can help me. do you hatch the eggs while you collect them or you just collect all the eggs take the parent out and then hatch them all?

I don't even bother chaining intentionally for shinies because if I'm going through the time and trouble then I want it to be perfect (right ability and nature, and as close to perfect IVs as possible). That's why using Magikarps as placeholders is really nice. If you get an unlucky roll you have flexibility. I'm just hoping I get the right gender role for Salandit on one of these.

Ditto is the only real exception since you know, they can't be bred.

Foolio not all shinies are for competitive battling or even battling for that matter :D.
Foolio use the togepi line(togetic or togekiss) as intermediate to aim for that female salandit. You have the same m/f ratio but the hatching of eggs is slightly slower than magikarp but still fast enough 2560 steps.

From what I've been hearing from various people it actually seems fairly average to find them from the 50-100 mark (at least with Shiny Charm). One day Noqanky caught two shiny Ribombees within the span of a couple hours while just chaining them to level up her team, and I believe the chains were at most at 20 both times. Though I'll admit there must have been some ribombulous luck involved to find two in the same day with such low chains.

Foolio i based my repply on the way the original sentence was typed. 'A friggin over 50 chain encounter to finally' I've got 2 shinies at encounter less than 20 also when i was ev training some pokes :o.

Yes, I know the higher the chain. And mine must have been well over 300 by the time I gave up, possibly much higher.

Got 22 shinies using S.O.S method so far and the shiny charm makes a huge difference on the encounter rate. Before the shiny charm i got around 8 shinies and 6/8 were at chains over 250(most off them on second/third tries because i used to run out of PP) only 2/6 were at chaings around 100-120. But even with shiny charm the stats are still against you 1/683 after 70 encounters is just too much.
Well i got 2 shiny rockruffs and i can give you one of them if you want.

The first one was actually around the fourth Ribombee to appear, third to be summoned by SoS. Second one was from 15 to 20.

Of note is that before any of this I already had a shiny ribombee that I hatched within like 20 eggs pre-shiny charm. Which means that so far I've stumbled into 3 shiny ribombee, which is still two less than the amount of shiny vulpix I've hatched.

I got some jolly rough skin gible if anyone is interested. Just started breeding them so don't have perfect ones yet

The problem with mimikyu comes with it's really low hp after disguise is gone you are sure to die after 1 hit. So investing in hp and giving it Sitrus berry gives chance to survive more. While jolly nature is good with the sword dance you ain't gettting a set up that will guarantee your win since you are still really frail. Well the way I see it extra power from adamant nature and durability to take 3 hits instead of 2 gives you more advantage. Besides the 96 base speed is already high. Well that's the way I see it.

Foolio mimikyu works better with adamant nature and investing fully in Hp and then attack and sp. Def or Full HP and attack.
On another note finally got my shiny dewpider after 2300ish eggs and to finish the troll the it got bad attack stats :(. I am glad there is hyper training in this gen.

Finally got around to hatching perfect pokemons/getting mtsuda shinies. Its really helpfull that the eggs go to pc when your party is full.

Got the oranguru i wanted and i have some extras if anyone is interested. They have Calm nature with Telepathy ability. The extras i have are 1 female with 6 perfect IV and 4(2 male 2 female) with 5 perfect IVs (-Attack).

It's like a poor man's Wobbafett, or potentially a slightly more viable Shuckle.

Was checking puykumuku moves and I realized it doesn't learn any damaging water moves even though it's water type :blink: on top of that the only water moves it can learn are soak, ware sport and rain dance. Thats really weird

First Shiny since forever. Short chain of 30 too.

Wished the nature it rolled wasn't Speed based., but then again I'm having alot of trouble understanding how Synchronize works with SoS chains. It would be nice if it was a 100% chance to sync, so I'd know I'm doing it right rather than just… not seeing it work. Are there videos demonstrating it?

From what I understand it's:
-Fainted monster with the desired Nature on the first slot.
-Synchronizer (does not matter what Nature) kills summoned mons AND be there to see new ones summoned in.
-Catch, and that's it...

Maybe I'm not doing it right, or maybe I am but having terrible luck with the 50/50 odds.

The synchronizer will have a 50% chance of making wild pokémon have the same nature at the synchronizer if it is in the first slot of your party. If you place another pokémon as the lead, it will have no effect, you need the synchronizer as the lead (fainted or not) and the synchronizer itself has to be of the nature you are looking for.

That method of synchronize does not work because with SOS method the pokemon that is actually out is the one counted as first one. So if you want to get a desired nature shiny you need to battle with your synchronizer,

Same applies for a pokemon with compound eyes ability.

Unfortunatelly Abra line does not learn False swipe and we can not get ralts line before they allow the transfer

I lost track long ago but I've been switching out the lead mon every 15 or so, and I have had quiiiite a few rounds of that now. I'm close to running out of leppa berries to restore PP with.

Doesn't help that they're accuracy lowering so I have to keep switching which makes the process even longer… and some of them have vital spirit so they can't be put to sleep... and that I didn't think ahead about my false swipe monster having effect spore which... is bad for this.

I made myself a Shiny Hunting Smeargle for SOS battles:
Runs with False Swipe, Recycle, Recover and a damaging move (I took Aerial Ace because it never misses). Holds a Leppa Berry of course

i have a similar smeargle but i tend not to use him. A/SpA stats are really awfull to be of any use when hunting higher lvl pokemons.
Thats one of the reason my Decidueye still has Leafage and Peck at lvl 74 you get 75 BP which is way more usefull imo.

Wg does what tenrybito tell them to do. We have seen them turn the blind eye on much worse than that. Also something that threatens the very existence of tenrybito is something that could be considered a national treasure for them. And they might be the only ones who know about it. The WG might know nothing about it but would still follow orders. Longevity is for him personally. Remember his plan was never to serve under another.

I know it seems a bit out of order but the Wg doesn't want anyone to find one piece. Heck they destroyed an entire country (Ohara) just because they discovered a part of history. So yes having all the pirates raiding mariejoys is something they would avoid at all cost xd

i think the last poneglyph is in Mariejoys and it might be the "national treasure" Doflamingo talked about.

It could explain why DoFlamingo could blackmail the WG to that extend.

couple of things:

First :the guardians retreat only after wanda kisses Luffy. I wonder if thats some kind of way to claim Luffy as hers. Hope it gets explained later on.

Second notice how the guardians are full in bandages, and Oda already showing how strong they are, i wonder if they lost or held they own against Jack. its clear they are protecting something of importance and they wouldnt back down easily.

Meanwhile I was breeding Cyndaquil the other day, not going for a shiny but just one with good IVs, a good nature and its hidden ability. Then the third egg was a shiny with meh IVs (not a single maxed one), an impish nature and its regular ability. In other words, the shiny had none of the traits I was breeding for…

now i feel bad :(. Damn that hurts :(. Well i can only cheer you up with a 6 iv adamant sheer force totodile with , dragon dance/aqua jet/ crunch/ and ice punch.

Damn it my shiny totodile appeared a bit too early. And on top of that he got imperfect ivs.in Hp.and Attack oh well still good enough.

Correct on this one, the only ways of the chains being broken is if you made the pokemon run away you leaving the area or other pokemon showing up(which is a non issue with repels).

actually if another pokemon shows up when repel is active, meaning another one that you get close to by creeping, your chain doest break.

also another tip if your lead pokemon is bellow in lvl that the random wild pokes in the area you are chaining they will be attacking you even with repel on.

After about 100 chains the lvl of the pokemon you chain for drops back to its first encounter does anyone know if this breaks your chain?
