I really wishes episode 500 had been the StrawHats reuniniting. It would have been much more fitting and they spread out this filler way way way too much. They could have easily done it in3-4 episodes instead of seven and given us more of hte other Strahats and their training.

However this was still a great episode

um this isn't filler. this is canon material. it was about 7-8 chapters in the manga and at the manga pace of 1 chapter per episode and accounting for the 2 filler episodes we just had (498, 499) the pace is well to be expected.

its been suggested before. I don't think oda has ever addressed the letter buggy received from marine HQ after the marineford arc.

onemanga wasnt forced to take down their site. they were not sued or issued a cease and desist letter. they are taking it down cuz they don't want to disobey the manga publishers. easiest way to fix this is to issue a monthly/yearly fee to access an extensive manga website and the revenue would be shared with the publishers.

When the shp finally rejoin how should Oda explain how they all got back to SA or LA? Do you guys think he should do a 3rd set of cover stories or should he do a 1/2-full chapter per character further delaying the next story arc.

and dragon is such a shitty father that he never showed himself to luffy or helped him during the war. if sabo survives he will most likely join the revolutionary army. therefore he would be taking orders from dragon.

ok i thought of this last night and it made alot of sense.

Luffy invades the noble quarters looking for sabo and ends up face to face with Sabo's father. Instead of admitting that sabo ran away which would cause his family a loss of honor, Sabo's father tells luffy that sabo went out looking for luffy for ace and was killed by bandits/looters in the process. This explains why luffy says ace is his only brother.

as others have said i think this flashback is luffy remembering that sabo is out there somewhere in the new world and gives luffy a dual goal of finding one piece and sabo.

luffy is simple minded and when ace and him decided to forget about sabo for the time being, i think luffy never thought about him again once he set out for sea.

yes but toei is going way in depth with it implying that nami will use that ship to get back to sabaody and showing her probable new power ups to the clima tact.
