I really enjoyed the episode, there was nothing terribly off with it and it got me all excited about the upcoming filler episodes and PH-arc. Nice gags, beautiful scenes and a great montage (:

Hopefully the staff can keep going on like this, it's so nice to be able to watch the anime without worries about the bad quality.

I'm not sure who first pointed out Monet having a tattoo..
Can this panel be seen in better quality to verify this in the raw?
Looking back at the past flashback to pre-winged Monet, that arm is tattoo-less in both panels.

Could it just be something Oda put in there for that one panel, knowing it would be partially blocked to see if anyone can make out what it actually is/means?

I think it looks more like a scarab. And if it was a scarab it would support the theory that Monet is an astrologist, since Ancient Egyptians compared scarabs to their Sun God (in this case Kephri, not Ra) and Ancient Egyptians were known to base their calendar on the movements of sun, moon, planets and stars.

Not sure if it's been pointed out, (credit to a guy from One Piece wikia for pointing it out) but in the panel where Luffy and Momonosuke "fly", Momo is seemingly grabbing the clouds that he exhaled and using them to climb.

It was pointed out before, but in any way it's still quite a mystery O.O

I think it's very interesting ability. You can see randomly little clouds floating around Momo while he's talking to Luffy, but it seems clouds' number explodes when Momo freaks out (like when he "saw" Donflamingo or when he was running away from the guards).

Well anyway, what I think about the manmade DF is that it's effect isn't permanent and that's what makes it a failure. Because I don't like the idea of Momonosuke being a dragon for the rest of his life D:

Right now it's a good possibility, since Momonosuke didn't know how to turn back to human.

But I have this twisted thought that the fruit's dragon transformation wears off little by little and Momo turns back to human. I can't figure out anything about the Donflamingo-thingy, though :D

I can't see Momonosuke as a new crewmember.. If he was older then I'd love the idea, but right now he's too young and unexperienced. He would turn out to be more like a burden than a help for the crew, I say :/

The first part was okay, but the second almost brought me to tears (: Drawing and animation were a bit nah.. But great directing saved my Sunday. Chopper's gags were brilliant, music was very touching and Luffy's invitation was well done. I loved Otohime's grave with Noah in the background <3
If they could just get a grip of themselves and do some fine art in Punk Hazard I'd be on top of my world.

Wow, it has been awhile since I've actually been surprised and annoyed as the 'To be continued' appears to the screen. Quite happy about this feeling (:
The first half had it's fine animation and arts, but there were too much crappy-drawn fishmen and "MUGIWARA!!!1!!!1!" all over the place. Also the Strawhat crew's "awesome group-pose" while the New Fisman Pirates officers were falling from the sky around them was a bit.. funny :D
The 2nd half's emotion was able to reach me, and it really pulled me with it. Of course there was this part

Wow that looked dumb as hell. Shirahoshi was going to save Luffy, but the Sea Kings said that he's okay and she just left him to crash into the ship.

but for me it didn't ruin the atmosphere.

Next friday gonna get mine, had this midnight's brainstorming to come up with an awesome plan.
