RE: Red-Flag Sellers: Where NOT to Buy OP Merch
I know one thing I try my best to make all the customers happy. That's the best I can do and pass the rest to the boss. I take what I hear here and give them feed back. I handle all the orders and emails and so forth. I told them how you guys feel and that's all I can do. Ive noticed Xajen has some kind of vendetta against Toyslogic thats cool we all heard what you had to say but enough is enough. It might be time to move on

RE: Red-Flag Sellers: Where NOT to Buy OP Merch
I am sorry that I did not use the correct term, I will use "reservation" if that is the preferred term.
Sorry we cannot speak for other shops. They probably don't want to wait and see so they cancel the order to avoid hassle like this.
The bottom line is that anime merchandises are driven by pre-orders, and you should use the guideline provided above. If you disagree with it, you should consider not placing a pre-order and wait for an item to be released. Then you can try to locate one if its not sold out yet.
There is no bait. If you cannot handle the disappointment that an item may be cancel due to unforeseen event, such as maker cut production, stay away from pre-orders. When we place an item for pre-order on our site, we have reliable sources for them, otherwise we would not put it up on our website. Most of the time, average figures will have no problem coming through. When an item becomes popular and has high demand the chances of shortage in supply becomes high so the situation with Boa occurs. We offer many limited and rare items and most of the times are requested by our customers and we are able to pull through. Boa is just one instance that we were not able to make it happen and we apologize for that, but that is just the nature of this anime figurine business. If you have the chance you should try to run a Japanese figure business like ours and maybe you will be more understandable. This is an industry that is driven by the demand of pre-orders.
We are always put trust on our suppliers that we can get all the products we order because it comes through 95% of the time. The other 5% are for items with contingencies. if you want to take the chance with us, we are more than happy to keep your reservation on the list. When everything follow through and we get our figures. I will make sure the you get your order in the mailbox.
I have provided guidelines and a few other things you should keep in mind when you make your decisions in the future about pre-orders and the nature of the business. One more thing, you should consider reading all store policies both domestic and international. They usually give you a good idea what you can expect.
Please leave all the details of how to run our business to us, we really appreciate all your comments and suggestions. Please move on. There is Nami in Swimsuit to look forward to.

You're dodging the real question. Pre-order means reservation, not show of interest. You can't just bait us like fucking fish and mislead us thinking we have the item reserved. The "it's a limited prize item" excuse doesn't fly because no one else has canceled yet or jumped the gun on opening the orders.
And you do actually ask for instant payment for pre-orders, you don't offer delayed payment for PayPal.Just a little pointer guys if you ever check out and don't want to pay up front and don't have a credit card. Use the check or money order method you wont have to use any money. I'm just saying

Totally.
As an aside, it's not as if you'll have a hard time selling the prize figures once you get them since they're in demand. Maybe you want people to know that you're an option for these rare figures or to determine the amount to import by the number of pre-orders, but I think you'd present a far better image if you'd simply list them on your site after your stock is confirmed rather than repeatedly dashing people's hopes and having them lose faith in your business. Rare figures like the Hancock DX are sought after anyway so you might as well maintain a steady image so people will remember you as an option.
Maker cut production at last minute so there is nothing we can do. This Boa was a special game center item and we were able to get similar items in the past.
Pre-order is a show of interest that you want the item when our order is confirmed when it is released. It is subject to availability. That is why we do not ask for payment for pre-orders.

RE: Red-Flag Sellers: Where NOT to Buy OP Merch
if you as a company sell something, than goddamnit make sure you actually have that item! if you're not sure whether you can get a prize item, don't put it up for preorder. sell it if you actually received the item. you KNOW how it is with prize items. and they have always been hard to get.
gooood, statements like this kinda piss me off. I've been running a business too and I'd never even think of selling something which I may not even get. what kind of behaviour is that?
Pre-order item will be delivered after its release. Due to the nature of the character hobby industry, the release dates, prices and specifications of this kind of items are subject to change. Release cancellation may even occur.
Additionally, sometimes a manufacturer's shipment is reduced without prior notice.
As a retailer, we usually receive plenty of products to serve all orders.
Unfortunately, however, when the manufacturer's shipment is reduced by unforeseen happenstance, we may have to reduce or cancel orders.
Please keep these conditions in mind when ordering these pre-order items. -
