Well, if tama really is hiyori, she should be much younger than momo as she met ace years ago.

I'm with the theory that tengu is the unknown retainer and tama is hiyori.

A 4 year old could look pretty different as an 8 year old and kiku seems a bit 'slow' so it's a possibility, a bit of a stretch maybe, but still possible.

It's possible that toki wanted to send hiyori and the other retainer with the rest of the team but her power got disrupted and the 2 ended up in another time. A very common plot for any time travel related stuff.

Here's my take :

The power to push people forward in time is an ultimate, one time only move just like Law's immortal surgery. Even Law's more broken power doesn't seem to be a problem to the story so i don't think this sending people to future will be a problem either.

Also Kaidou will be defeated by sending him to the far future where the world is nothing but a wasteland. You heard it here first! (maybe)

The game will probably come out March or April. Next month is Red Dead (and the start of the annual holiday titles like CoD and AssCreed), Pokemon in November, Smash in December, and while these games aren't all in direct competition, if I can only buy one game, One Piece is low on that list. Especially open world games, I'd pick up Spider-Man, Red Dead, or Assassin's Creed before I get World Seeker.

February is equally packed. I think early Spring is this game's best bet.

Yeah, unfortunately this game will be beaten to pulp if they decided to go against those games. We have KH3 in late January as well.

If they announce a switch version, i might gonna buy that version instead of the ps4 one. So far this game looks 'switch level', unfortunately. Not that switch is bad or anything, mind you.

I'm still not that excited yet. Gonna stick with the plan to watch someone's playthrough on youtube after release before deciding if i want to buy it.

50 hours after completing the sidequests feels pretty short for this kind of genre. As a comparison, I've just finished zelsa botw main quest with very minimum side quest done and it took me 45 hours.

Marco said 'his share of treasure' so i bet the other members got their own money to spend from the treasure share.

Still, i take it as playful joke/mockery : 'he prefer to feed these peoole instead of his own sons, what a selfish man!'. That's how marco tried to cope with his loss but it fail this time. And i believe that WB does give his sons meal every now and then, it's just a joke from marco. It's like usopp joke about nami hogging all the treasure but we know she gave the guys some pocket money like in water 7.

What i get is that marco playfully mock WB for being selfish. He tried to laugh it off but end up crying instead because he remembered those times again.

It's like when your friend passed away and you tell someone that he is stupid or selfish so that you won't cry from remembering the old times but fail.

Mama and kaidou is expected to be in that same pirates group. If WB was there too, just how freaking OP was this pirates? Just how freaking OP was Garp for taking down the captain?

They might be the last enemy to be destroyed but not the last one to be fought.

In my scenario, Luffy and BB will team up to defeat marines & wg/cp which try to prevent them from reaching raftel. Then Luffy and BB battle it out for One Piece. Then Luffy use whatever power/weapon/mechanism in raftel to destroy mariejois but there will be no more battle there. The final battle is luffy vs BB and luffy thrn just destroy mariejois as a wrap up (no battle as marine and wg/cp already got defeated).

Do you guys get my meaning? I'm not sure how to properly explain this.

The whole rock conversation is just Oda teasing the villain of the next movie.

I actually have this fear considering that there are already old generation that got introduced in the manga but end up as movie villian (shiki, z).

As for the dumb prediction : anyone who sit in the empty throne will be immediately regarded as the king of the world, no question asked. Next chapter will be about the ascension of High King Sterry-sama.

Suddenly got this revelation : what if the 'rocks' will be featured in a new movie?

Oda did the same thing with shiki, he incorporate the char in the manga then use him as a char in the movie.

We already got so much in our plate to be deal with (kaidou, wano, RA, ryokugyu, etc) so introducing an ancient pirate crew to wreck things up might not be feasible. So Oda might introduce the crew in the manga just be used later in the movie.

I hope I'm wrong though cause i would love to see this crew in the manga.

Yeah, it seems so. Rocks could be either their crew's name or their captain's name. In japanese, it is ambiguous.

Since the start of this chapter, everything indicates that BM and Kaido were indeed in the same crew. So, their captain should have been even more powerful than them. Even more powerful than the strongest creature. That's the legend Oda was talking about in last year's Jump Festa.

But mama and kaidou are from a different generation, right? It is possible that kaidou was a trainee like shanks was though (kaidou being a cabin boy, imagine that)

I kinda want a spin off movie about the villians, Doffy Family or Big Mom Pirates would be nice.

I was hoping for manga spin off of them but considering Oda is extremely busy with the canon, a movie would be a nice alternative.

Anyway, Karasu obviously has the best design. I see that Oda keeps the steampunk theme for all the RA members and absurd clothing for the okama (morley is an okama right?).

Really don't know how oda will handle and how long it will be with the reverie arc now with RA declaring war like this.

Usopp will modify it so it will be 'less germa' and sanji will use it as last resort.

Hi Guys, it's been years since the last time i played this game. I think last time the story mode only got to alabasta but before they reach rainbase.

Just installed the game again and currently in logue town.

Currently use law as captain and got wanda and carrot from chopperman's request. They're pretty good.

Is there anyone in the event island that is worth farming? Except for the clash and coliseum of course.

Any tips would be welcome as well as things have changed a lot since last time.

Aside from Morgans clearly rooting for the worst generation, we can see that barto and Cavendish are being interviewed so obviously they will hype their own boss (especially barto). That really help luffy with his reputation and bounty increase.

Great chapter, the ship switch is kinda cheap way to resolve the cliffhanger but the overall chapter is great.

BUT GODAMMIT JINBE!! HOW MANY TIMES ARE YOU GOING TO TEASE ME UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY JOIN?!

Kinda weird to show them over other 'main' chars like jinbe, buggy, etc who have larger roles in one piece. Maybe they're trying to ride the hype wave? There's not that much hype with them though, should've choose the charlottes if they really want to ride the hype (especially 'that' guy).

The explosion hit not only sunny but several mama's small ship as well. The ruined ship we saw are those ships. Sunny is heavily damaged but still floating.

As for the guys, i have a vision that nami can create coating ball from her clima tact and so jinbe shove them all in there and take it underwater, temporarily abandoning ship.

I didn't expect much cause i thought it will be just an 'escape' chapter but man, that was glorious.

Love all the vinsmokes moves but the main highlight is brulee's revelation of katakuri's defeat. Rage, disbelief, denial all can be seen on the faces of the charlottes. Great stuff.

maybe because pedro just blow himself up real quick (and the fact that he most likely will survive, knowing oda) while in pekoms' case, he is being tortured, screaming, struggling, etc.

pekoms' sacrifice is more dramatic and impactful than pedro's. I feel really bad for pekoms.

nazoms, gastino, and sogeking should have a drink together sometimes.

I also feel the love for katakuri so people who insist that their fight is a draw (both ko'ed at first) or even those who argue that katakuri win (as luffy got ko'ed first) is somewhat understandable to me. but it's also ok for kata to lose as his main trait is to see the future and dodge the attack so his defense or endurance must be on the weaker side.

when luffy fought mingo, gear 2 is fast enough but weak, gear 3 is strong enough but slow. I guess snakeman and boundman are upgrades to these forms. they're one tier better than the former two. tankman is a stronger tier of gomu gomu balloon. so i agree that snakeman is speed, boundman is strength, and tankman is defense.

not that appealing so far for me. guess i'll just watch someone's playthrough in youtube later and decide if i want it. did the same with burning blood and ended up not buying it.

i wish that there will be a one piece game which gave me the same hype and excitement which i had with monster hunter world. i counted the day until release for that game.

feel kinda bad for katakuri.

he play the perfect big brother role for the sake of his siblings even when he has to hide his true self (his mouth, his guilty pleasure me-time with the donuts). but the moment he show who he is, his sister turns her back on him. poor guy.

in the last page, did luffy really lost a piece of his torso? that can't happen right? it being luffy's sight of the future is more probable. maybe next chapter we'll see luffy dodge that bullet and katakuri's attack.

like i said in the spoiler thread, mama is fighting enemies who have advantages against her. brook is immune to lightning and his attacks are aoul based, nami can drain zeus of his power, jinbe can shower promotheus with water, etc. if it was robin instead of nami, usopp/franky instead of brook, or zoro instead of jinbe, they won't be able to do too much things against her.

it's like luffy vs eneru/enel or mihawk who can't damage buggy during the war. eneru and mihawk certainly are not weak, they're just fighting enemies who have advantages against them, ie their natural enemy. mama's situation is the same.

anyway, i love how oda managed to put some funny stuffs during that hectic moment. now for the long wait until the next chapter.

since we're going to see reverie soon, maybe the legendary guy is from the world govt? maybe leader of CP-0?

we've seen legends from the pirates (rayleigh, shiki, etc) and marines (kong, garp, zephyr, etc). so maybe the world govt is next.

at first i thought that maybe a bounty hunter but they're not relevant anymore. revo army legend is a possibility but is the revo army founded by dragon? if so, maybe it's still too new for it to have a legend already.

the gameplay trailer will be a make or break. hope they realize that and shows a lot in that trailer.

as i said in the spoiler thread, kaidou will have to destroy the freaking moon!

i agree. the environment is something that i'll expect from a game like witcher or skyrim, it is not one piece-y enough. but we'll see.

one 'bad' thing abouy one piece is none of us believed in deaths and sacrifices outside flashback. this makes a supposedly touching moment like this one a little bit less meaningful because we all like 'nah, he'll survive that one somehow'.

Violence, maybe. His way of saving his wife taken hostage is shooting the person holding her in the face instead of complying to their demands. Bege is a person who entered a Yonkou territory and tried to kill her while her whole crew was surrounding him because of the thrills. He doesn't have a hidden agenda, he just likes to attack big names because it is fun. He isn't the kind of person who respect authority or fear power, he will protect those he care about and his family but he will do it in the most offensive and violent. I think that's the whole thing about his way of living (and I think that panel deserved to be much bigger).

That said, I think it is sad he is apparently going to fight Oven while Luffy got Katakuri (and after fighting Cracker). But I suppose Smoothie is not going to ever take action, so Oven is probably the next best thing.

I guess that makes sense. 'I'll definitely save my wife but I'll do it my way, with violence'. That's pretty cool.

Oven is katakuri's twin right? He should be pretty strong.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I love the Charlotte family. I would love if they kill all the Straw Hats and the series focus on them instead.

I'm with you but this is actually the second time i feel that way. The first one is with doffy family. First time i care about the enemy's crew and want oda to make a spin off of them.

i still dont get bege's sentence (the title of the chapter), so what he means by his way of life is to never surrender? doesn't it imply that he's willing to risk chiffon's life? i don't get it.
