Other than chickening out from this thread in just the first page, I'd like to give props to the thread creator by digging up this corpse of a topic again and failing to convince others that "Women should be like this and not that! Grrrr!", but succeeded in making everyone start this pointless argument all over again. Kudos, troll.

RE: One Piece 723: Change of plans
@Toraish:
It upsets me a lot because Oda has been so meticulous about keeping those laws intact thus far, and that has been one of the things that makes One Piece as good as it is. It's been realistic in its own setting. But things are getting more and more rushed with each passing arc because Oda has too many characters for him to handle and because he wants to get to the end of the manga before he dies, and if one of the ways it shows is that he doesn't care about the laws of his world anymore, it's absolutely horrifying. One Piece could literally become too unrealistic to enjoy if he's allowed to get away with it. That's why I was despairing so much when the pun relation was discovered. The manga that we love is becoming simplified. No! I say no. That's not the One Piece that we enjoy.
This isn't just about one character, it goes much deeper than that. I'm afraid that Oda will compromise the quality of his own story to get it done. And that's a legitimate concern, in my honest opinion.
I know it's your opinion, but we? Who's we? It's just you that has a problem with it, buddy. Stop being so overdramatic. And there is no evidence that the story is being rushed, especially by just a harmless pun. You're just overanalyzing things, which by looking at your previous posts, you tend to do very often. Lighten up for once…
