Great chapter…. This shake up happened at the perfect time as it throws a wrench in everything. The look on Luffy and Nami's face, it's clear. Pudding is sacrificing herself to take the heat off of Sanji. Big Moms rage will be directed solely on her own daughter. Pudding is so brave!! But it's so sad though!! Poor Sanji...he's gonna be so pissed...her death, however it happens (if it does) will be devastating. So much epic drama could unfold!

Great chapter. Super interesting stuff involving Jajji and Vegapunk and genetic modification. Sanji will show what he can do soon enough.

RE: Chapter 822: Descending the Elephant
@$abZ:
Since Saboady One Piece has been very hectic. Apart from that small stint at Amazon Lily, there's been no real breathing room. Impel Down, the War, Fishmen Island, Punk Hazard and Dressrosa - the Straw Hats haven't had too much time to enjoy some peace together and to rethink their mission to reach Raftel. Zou has been a very refreshing arc that has taken a leap in the overall story of OP. The interactions between the crew has been classic One Piece stuff… it reminds me of the simpler times back before Water 7. I said it last week, or the week before, that Zou is parallel to the Jaya Arc in terms of its purpose and the general feel about it. Now the adventure really starts. I doubt we'll see the Reverie in the next few chapters seen as Vivi is only just setting off from Alabasta. Either Oda will fast track to the Reverie in the next chapter or wait until the point he switches the story from Luffy's team to Kinemon's team or back to Zou.
What are the chances of Blackbeard interrupting the Reverie meeting? It's the type of shit he'd do, but there'll have to be an ulterior motive for him. Either way I think something big is going to happen at the Reverie. Something including the whole Blackbeard/ Aokiji sub plot, which I think Dragon may be involved in. Those frozen level 6 prisoners on Punk Hazard, maybe we'll see them set free. One thing's for sure, the meeting is set up for Vivi to get some revenge on that idiot Wapol, give him a bitch slap.
It'll be a few years for the next adventure to finish. It took so long to defeat Donflamingo, now the target is Kaidou & Big Mom. There are so many roads the plot could take from now on, Oda really knows how to create multiple plotlines in a short time.
Awesome analysis. Agree 100%.
Zou really is where things have settled down and has offered the crew a moment to reflect and react to their situation. So many great plotlines to explore, One Piece continues to be amazing.

RE: Chapter 817: Raizou Of The Mist
One Piece awesome as always.
Jacks coming back.
Citizens basically deciding for the Duke and Master to make it a forever truce.
Momo royalty is great.
Nami's Boobs…
A Poneglyph! Wonder what it says..?
Raizou is great, excellent reveal and interaction with Strawhats.Love it, Oda is our God.

RE: Chapter 801: Opening Declaration
Amazing. Vintage genius Oda. This chapter contained so much information that either smoothly capped off, continued, or spawned new story development. The art was top notch. Ending cliffhanger of Sanji is yet another intriguing mystery. So many characters interacting and precursors to events unfolding, it felt like a declaration of new era.
Easily one of the greatest One Piece chapters.

RE: Chapter 800: Follower Sake Cup
I still find it weird how easily Baby 5 has just switched sides. Sure Lao G revealed at the end that the Doflamingo family were just using here, but they still raised her. For all intents and purposes Buffalo was her childhood friend and now she's celebrating their demise. She's a cold piece.
She was trying to kill Doflamingo the first time we see her. Is it really so hard to believe?

RE: Chapter 797: Rebecca
Fujitora's entrance is straight boss. He'll confront the warriors and ask about Law and Straw Hats whereabouts. Knowing Barto and co., they won't attack unless attacked, and me thinks Fuji will leave them alone and only wants info, but we know Barto will spill no beans. Better hurry Luffy… Zoro could hold him off, maybe...
Law must be going to see Sengoku, knowing the former Fleet-Admiral was trying to bring down Doffy with Cora-san as his inside man. It's clear Law wants closure.
Kyros and Rebecca's story is heart warming and tragic. There lives have been mostly hell until now, but they can finally live in peace together as Father and Daughter. I bet they stay in Dressrosa.
Good transition/plot moving chapter. Luffy being Luffy, with Fuji hot on their tails now! I still wonder about his intentions, no other marines are around, he may let them go. Can't wait for next week!

RE: Chapter 797: Rebecca
Can someone please explain to me the Rebecca hate? When we're first introduced to her, she is a fairly competent fighter. But even if you're a good fighter, there are just some people who are much better than you. So she couldn't beat Diamante. So do people hate her because she just isn't that strong? Then she comes face to face with Doflamingo who obviously is many times stronger than Diamante. Do people hate her because she isn't a badass who says "F*** you!" in the face of imminent death? Sure Viola confronted Doflamingo when she stood no chance, but you could argue that was just really idiotic of her.
She is a victim of circumstance. She was put into situations she couldn't possibly get out of herself and should not have been able to get out of. Oda made her come across Doflamingo to make Luffy's return more emotional. I can get why some might just not care about this plot thread, but the hate for Rebecca seems silly to me. The weekly format for an arc that went on for as long as Dressrosa makes people get frustrated and impatient, and can affect and alter their opinions and perceptions. Like many One Piece arcs, I think people will be able to look back at it, read through the whole thing quickly, and decide they don't hate it as much.
So with that said, this was a good chapter to complete or nearly complete this plot thread. The bond between Rebecca and Kyros, with her being raised by Soldier who she didn't know was him, is nice.
And I hope people are right that Law has some unfinished business with Doflamingo and/or Marine people like Sengoku or Tsuru because Law hasn't got the closure he needs.
100% agree. It's the weekly, sometimes bi-weekly waits and the "disappointing" chapters that follow. A few people here have many problems with this arc and I understand why they feal that way, I just don't agree. Oda knows what he's doing, this was a great arc imo.
Rebecca isn't a flawed character you guys just hate her because she's week useless and cries. She's meant to be a symbol of the world's soft underbelly that gets exploited by the strong and greedy.

RE: Chapter 771: Sai, Leader of the Happou Navy
Chapter was awesome. Don of the Happou Navy indeed. Drill Dragon Drill Nail!!! I love how all the officers are getting taken down by the tournament contestants. Predictable but brilliantly played, the whole later part of this arc is flowing so well, Luffy's future allies are mounting. Slowly but surely Doflamingo will be cornered, and he will get desperate after birdcage is broken or something. Then only Luffy will be there to face him. Luffy vs. Doflamingo…!

RE: Chapter 765: Minion, the Island of Fate
Loved this chapter. One Piece truly shines during these deep emotianal flashbacks. Law is becoming one of, if not the best written characters in the story, with Doflamingo ( so far ) being the absolute best villian. The climax of this arc, the worldy reaction and the begining of the next arc is gonna blow us away. So much greatness awaits. Oda is setting it up perfectly. I love this fucking manga!
