I've played almost all of the Pokemon games, and I have enjoyed them a ton. I finished Pokemon White recently and I have to say, I think it is my favorite so far.
@Tokoro:
Actually there is one thing I found rather neat that forced me to keep playing the game: the whole "N storyline forcing you to not face Alder the first time" thing. If it weren't for that, I wouldn't have been so excited to actually play the post-game so I could just get my levels and Pokemon to a point to fight the full Elite 4 and him…that and to allow for the time to raise much harder/longer to raise Pokemon for the challenge like Hydreigon or Volcarona. (I sort of just got bored of the post-game stuff usually and never played it, not even to face Red in GS the first time…but just the idea that you can't fight the true Champ until you are in the post-game at least gave me incentive because I like to beat the Champ before I call it a game)
I totally agree with this. Past games were good, but they almost always ended for me after I beat the champ for the first time. I just wasn't motivated to do anything after that because, hey, I was already the strongest right? The fact that I didn't get to face Alder the first time around really kept me excited to play the game.
Also, I always want those really strong Pokemon that you can't find until the end of the game, but usually when you get them, there is nobody left to destroy with them. This time around I actually got to beat the champ with some big baddies on my team.
