Nevertheless, I hope Luffy can actuallly maintain haki in terms of real combat so he can be more on par with logia. I mean he did "somewhat" grab? or hit Crocodile from stopping and his arm did not turn into sand. But who knows, it could just be lucky.

Anyways, I am sure after this incident + the whole IMpel down breaking incident, Luffy will be getting the most credit. Even though Buggy's fame will rise, Luffy will skyrocket. I mean seriously, this is basically on par with what the Revolutions are doing right? But they are attacking the world government direclty instead of the Marines. As far as we know, no one has been this much attacking the Marine as Luffy has. I mean he is noticable for several things:

1. Defeating Shichibukai

2. Direclty toppling World Government Enies Lobby

3. Infiltrating and breaking out prisiniors from Impel Down

4. And now intervening with the biggest war in ages.

I mean even other pirates with high bounties have never been shown to defy the world's power in this method. If they have, they without a doubt they would have been mentioned and Luffy's act would be less "glorified". I mean hell, if Fisher TIger received that much fame for breaking out of Impel Down, then Luffy's arsenal of feats should make him even more legendary.

True but as someone pointed out, you can separate like an eye or a hand out and that could work either as a decoy or something.

Hell, if Luffy's rubber abilities can become that strong, then Buggy's fruit can be put to good use as well. Of course, this goes for any other fruit if the main character used them.

But for the sake of the discussion, I am just pointing out Buggy because his seems quite fun.

Oh, I enjoy the Supernova's devil fruit as well. :D. I think Law's can be quite deadly even though he has that circumference.

Well I think only reason Mr.5 was made fodder because "bomb" is overused in many mangas so oda decided to make him fodder.

I think Buggy's fruit has the most potential similar to Luffy's. He can basically be the ultimate assassin without getting hurt if he masters unassembling and such. Plus, if he becomes stronger in the physical term, he could be deadly.

I also think that Lion Guy from Thriller Bark arc's invisible devil fruit was wasted…. Such a sick fruit and he got raped by Sanji.

Having those reitsu, ki, chakra, psy, spirit energy or anything else is fine as long as the author makes it original and doesn't rely on them as the sole concept of fighting. I hate when a character is like omg I am out of Reitsu… gets healed then come back or some other things.

I mean as far as see, Haki is ambition or a willpower to do something. Its like when you focus your mind into hurting an inaminate object, it will hurt them. From my perspective, Haki is more related to that of the Force in Star Wars. Of course, no fancy attacks or anything but it crosses the borders of existentialism in the sense of the attack.

You know as much as I love this war and stuff, I have been rewatching and rereading the anime and manga of One Piece, and I realized I miss the crew a lot. Especially Zoro, Robin, and Nami. Bleh. At least this war will be good.

I choose Zoro beacuse even though he has been around the longest, he is due for some character development. The last thing I remember about him that was praising was the event at Thriller Island where he exchanged his life (almost) for the sake of Luffy and the crew. I thought it was amazing and yah. Of course, I also miss Niko Robin

To be honest, Haki is just one's ambition. Only in one piece, they directly transfer one's ambition into power.

This is a bit different than bleach and dragonball z because there spiritual energy or ki is strength on a different front.

Anyways, without Haki, too many things will become unexplained.

Supporting the side that you can't turn into your element consciously, heres why I believe Kizaru did not get hit by the bullet in the back of the head. He knew when he landed, there were going to be constant attacks so he would have stayed in his form longer. In addition, he has probably has more experience than both Ace and Smoker, so he probably mastered his fruit more.

Meanwhile, both Smoker and Ace at the bar were pretty relaxed. None of them seemed tense and were worried about the town at all. I doubt they would keep their powers on while walking through a random town so early in the grand line, where pirates bounty are below 100 million.

I mean, is it just me or does it look like hes dissolving or decomposing? Either way I find it touch for him to get out of this unless he somehow applies like a layer of haki around him to prevent himself from getting degenerating any further.
