Gintama, Deadman Wonderland, Toriko, Kaiji Season 2 and maybe Maria Holic Alive.
I will check out the other series if I hear positive stuff about them but otherwise it's mainly those.

Fitch is gonna demolish BJ, no doubts about it.
Fitch can't demolish anybody, the best thing he does is take them down and lay on top of them for 3 rounds to win a decision. He's size and strength alone should be enough to keep BJ on the ground to grind a usual victory. But I am hoping for the upset because Fitch is plain boring with his style and I don't want a main event to be 3 rounds of lay and pray.
I can't believe this thread got revived because Fedor lost again, haha. But that doesn't bother me, I hope this thread stays active because there's like MMA events every month to discuss but I am assume most fans of this board will only watch UFC or Strikeforce.
Time to revive this thread with UFN tomorrow. I never get to watch any of the UFN events live because they're on a weekday and I ain't around. Also a new season of TUF starts after UFN.
I haven't been following this UFN much and I barely have an idea on the full fight card. But because of that, I'll just do my picks for the main card as I barely know the fights on the prelim/undercard.
Ross Pearson vs. Cole Miller - Pearson with the superior striking can lead to a TKO finish but Miller is crafty on the ground but that's if he can take it the ground.
Gleison Tibau vs. Jim Miller - This fight will most likely lead to a decision knowing that Tibau is a huge guy who just wrestlers but I think this fight can go either way.
Those are my picks for the main card of UFN. Hope this revives the thread a bit even though it would just be me and GetsugaZoro posting. LOL.
Efrain Escudero vs. Charles Oliviera - Efrain didn't make weight and Oliviera is a young prospect in LW and has sick submission skills.
Rousimar Palhares vs. Nate Marquardt - I can see Nate using the same gameplan that Dan Henderson used against Palhares by keeping the fight standing up. But Palhares has a very nasty ground game and he just needs a hole of 1 leg to finish Nate.
I hope this revives the thread for a bit, even though it's just usually me and GetsugaZoro who post here.
@Yonkou#3:
Does anyone know where I might see scott pilgrim without leaving my computer seat? It's no longer in any theaters near me and i really want to see it again.
Besides the crappy cam/TS releases of the movie, I suggest wait until DVD/Bluray comes out. Probably a long wait.
If you can't wait, go visit some of those torrent sites for those crappy in quality releases of the movie. :/
As a fellow Aussie, I don't see many people knowing what this film/novel is about.
Also I checked IMDB and according to that, it's only so far released in Australia and New Zealand, no other countries listed for now.
I have a friend that wants to watch it. She saw the trailer while at the cinemas and got a bit excited because she read the novel in high school.
To be honest, I didn't know what it was about or it was based on a novel until she told me, lol.
If you say it's good and my friend wants to watch it, I'm bound to check it out soon.
This UFC PPV was really boring, the one prelim itself was better than the whole PPV.
I kept zoning out during all the fights but that I am to be blame for since I was up for over 20 hours already.
I don't even remember much of the PPV due to all the decisions and lack of sleep. I just remember Bruce Buffer announcing Edgar winning the fight.
Wrestlers are the downfall of MMA and especially those who can't finish fights unless their opponents are really inexperienced. Until rule changes are made in the Unified Rules, Wrestlers will keep dominating.
Weigh-ins were nothing special but everybody making weight, so I guess I am ready to show my picks.
B.J. Penn vs. Frank Edgar - BJ looked much better than his last fight at the weigh-in, so naturally he has my pick.
Gray Maynard vs. Kenny Florian - Kenflo is #2 in the UFC at LW, Maynard is a tough fighter.
James Toney vs. Randy Couture - I want Toney to win but I don't see it happening unless its a Flash KO from a punch.
Marcus Davis vs. Nathan Diaz - If Diaz fights smart and takes it the ground, he could sub Davis.
Greg Soto vs. Nick Osipczak - Toss up.
Andre Winner vs. Nik Lentz - I know who Winner is but not other.
Demian Maia vs. Mario Miranda - Maia can win via sub if he wants to, but I don't want to see him wasting his time standing-up.
Amilcar Alves vs. Mike Pierce - I can't pick against my friend, Pierce. I actually know the guy :D
Dan Miller vs. John Salter - Miller is a tough guy and he should take this.
Gabe Ruediger vs. Joe Lauzon - I like Lauzon and he's tough.
I can see just 2-3 upsets happening, like with Marcus Davis, Gray Maynard and who knows maybe Frankie Edgar. But those are my picks for this PPV.
Alright, just watched UFC 118 Countdown.
James Toney is hilarious. LOL. He makes me laugh with his jokes.
In my heart, I want Toney to upset Couture because I don't mind to see more boxers to cross over into MMA. Toney only needs a punch or two to really put Couture's lights out.
I really look forward to the rematch of Penn vs Edgar, I know a lot of people who thought BJ won that fight. But the problem is, when it comes to BJ and decisions, there's a lot of controversial. For examples, Jens Pulver vs BJ Penn 1, Caol Uno vs BJ Penn 2, GSP vs BJ Penn 1 and now Frankie Edgar vs BJ Penn. All those fights have had people argued that BJ won those fights. But history has already been written. I believe BJ needs to finish Edgar in this rematch.
Gray Maynard vs. Kenny Florian is gonna be a great fight. I truly see Florian as the #2 lightweight in the UFC behind BJ Penn and he'll always be there until BJ moves back to WW or retires. But Maynard is no joke as he's the only person to ever beat Frankie Edgar and he was suppose to get a title shot at BJ Penn before Edgar but he let that pass.
It's quite an interesting card, or at least the main card. I'll do my picks after the weigh-ins like I usually do.
Apparently Chael Sonnen is gonna get a rematch with Anderson Silva in 2011 or whenever Silva's ribs heal.
Oh I know Abel Cullum and saw his fight in DREAM, he had an exciting grappling match with Tokoro but he lost in the end. That's the only time I've seen him fight. I believe he should go to WEC or back to DREAM, if he plans to go back to Featherweight.
It was about time Lashley lost, he's got nothing but his wrestling and with his build, he'll gas after 1-2 rounds.
I managed to catch the later half of Sengoku and the main event was EPIC. To me and a lot of other fellow hardcore MMA fans, agree that it was the Japanese Fight of The Year.
If you don't plan to download the whole Sengoku/SRC event, just at least watch Jorge Santiago vs. Kazuo Misaki.
This year has been a great year for MMA, at least 4 FOTY candidates and most of them in the month of August, which was a stacked month of MMA.
Jorge Santiago vs. Kazuo Misaki - Sengoku/SRC 14
Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen - UFC 117
Shane Roller vs. Anthony Pettis - WEC 50
Leonard Garcia vs. Chan Sung Jung - WEC 48
If you haven't to watch any of those yet, please do so as a MMA fan.
