RE: Chapter 604: "Into the Depths" Discussion
Holy crap, that was a good chapter! Too bad for the week wait
Methinks that Arlong's gonna show up again - due to the fact that Mohmoo was hangin around. I have a bad feeling, though, that Jinbei's gonna be a bad guy this time around. Remember back to when Luffy and the other inmates had busted out from Impel Down? Jinbei hinted at having issues with Luffy over the Arlong incident.- Definitely liked how Luffy and Zoro were talking nonchalantly about what islands they had been sent to.
- Chopper's rehabilitation idea for Sanji with "low intensity photos"
- Possibility of all out war with Fishman Island due to Jinbei having fishues (fish + issues) with Luffy over stomping the shit out of Arlong.
- "Ah, Salinity, I used to play that game all the time"
- I think that Nami actually enjoys watching Sanji die of blood loss every few minutes. Check out the very middle panel: http://mangastream.com/read/one_piece/12514403/11
- CRAAAP! Why do we have to wait 2 weeks for the next chapter! No other Shonen series goes on this many breaks!

RE: Chapter 602: "Rudder Straight Down!"
hmm…More crewmembers...well, Luffy did say at the beginning that he thought 10 crewmembers was about right for his crew. I can definitely see Vivi coming back - it's been 2 years, and her country has to be stable enough for her to leave. As for the last one, it's anybody's guess. Oda did mention somewhere that an ex enemy would become a member of the crew, though I'm not sure if Franky has already fulfilled that role. I was actually thinking that maybe Smoker would become disillusioned with the World Government and join the crew, but it's all speculation at this point.
Does the TS not have any of Nami's orange trees? I'm just wondering why everyone is so worried about oxygen in their bubble, because I'm sure Franky can build artificial light sources. The One Piece world as a whole may seem primitive, but they have fucking robots. It's not like no one invented an ultraviolet light bulb.
Yeah, what happened to her orange trees? I haven't seen them at all on the ship since the timeskip.

RE: Chapter 602: "Rudder Straight Down!"
The revolutionaries were looking for Robin, meaning she escaped. I doubt they have given her a ride.
Yeah, those were definitely CP agents. I can't see Robin needing to escape from Dragon or the Revolutionaries; I don't think that Dragon would forcibly keep hostage one of the strongest/smartest members of his son's crew.

RE: Chapter 602: "Rudder Straight Down!"
So Robin and Franky came to Shabondi by themselves ?
I think that Franky had to make it to the island himself, mainly because he didn't really ally himself with anybody, but I'm sure that Robin got a ride from Dragon.

RE: Chapter 602: "Rudder Straight Down!"
Sanji definitely made this week's chapter - I was waiting for the jealousy over where Luffy landed. And he can't let it slip what Island he was on because Zoro would definitely never let him live it down.
I also liked how all of the SH's trainers (if you could call them that) helped get them off the island. The okamas were definitely the most hilarious - including the one that was chewing on a marine's head and the one that imitated Hancock's wink and shattered Sanji's heart. Even Dragon seemed to lend a hand by providing the wind that blew Weatheria to Sabondy (The favorable gust of wind that Haradas mentioned). I guess he wanted to make sure that his son got his girls on the boat

RE: ONE PIECE: MOVIE 10 ~ Strong World
I don't know how to classify Movie 10 - Is it Filler or non-Filler? Since Oda had a hand in creating it, and may reference it in the storyline later, I'm gonna call it non-filler with a dash of filler elements. I guess it could have happened in the time between Thriller Bark and Shabondy, if you wanna give it a timeline.

RE: ONE PIECE: MOVIE 10 ~ Strong World
she was just overwhelmed by the sleep powder of that giant butterfly.
Her biggest fight of the damn movie was that?! I guess this movie was really showcasing more of the "East Blue" team of the crew. Neither Franky nor Brooke got very good parts either. Though I did enjoy the fact that Brooke's "Hanauta Sanchou: Yahazu Giri" move got used a lot!
manga is still much better
shiki who is level of lv6 beaten by luffy is not realistic by wb-wg war standards
anime movies still not there, they just fill the gaps
oda is a great comic writer but not a great movie script writerI think this was more of a "Hello New Word! Goodbye Grand Line" sort of thing. Luffy winning here shows that he's ready. Plus Shiki'd been sitting on his ass for 20 years in hiding, scheming, and apparently training a gorilla to dance with him, while the other Yonkou-level pirates were out on the open sea in the New World gaining more experience. Also remember that Croc, too, was a lvl 6 criminal - and Luffy pulverized him in Alabasta!

RE: ONE PIECE: MOVIE 10 ~ Strong World
Wow. Well, it's definitely my favorite One Piece movie so far! Now I just wish there was a better sub. However, I found that the bad subbing actually added its own element of hilarity to the movie: One of the best lines was "Do not take the Piss!"
I HATED the fact that Robin was so weak in this movie, and the fact that Dr Indigo's boots farted whenever he walked. I did like, however the fight sequences and the Gang Shootout - though I don't know how they all produced perfect Italian Suits in such a short amount of time. It had a lot of strong Luffy-Nami  undertones - though that's not necessarily a bad thing.

RE: Chapter 574 "The Death of Portgas D. Ace" Discussion
Holy crap, what an amazingly sad chapter. I didn't think that the first person to die would be Ace! I thought that it'd be Whitebeard, though there's no guarantee that he won't die soon enough…
