I doubt Jimbei will join. He's just too strong. I don't think Oda would want any new members usurping Zoro in strength.
So, with Blackbeard renegading on the WG, and Luffy, Jimbei, and Crocodile wreaking havoc on Impel Down, the WG has lost much of its power. Not only are they diving their attention, but the Schichibukai/WG coalition seems to be about to break down. Plus I'm still expecting Dragon to get involved at some point.
So with the WG and WB weakened, Blackbeard is setting himself up to be WB's replacement yonkou if he gets defeated by enlarging his crew. Just as Shanks predicted.

It's chapters like these that truly make One Piece great. it is as if the initial exposition is over and the story is truly beginning.
I kinda expected for Dragon to be mentioned. Now what I'm wondering is whether Dragon intends to come rescue Ace. I can't tell if he's the "fate of the world is in my hand;I don't have time for trivialities like family" or someone who cares about his sons.
Like I mentioned before he will probably use the trife between WB & Wg to his advantage but will he attempt to save Ace?

Anyway great episode. I knew food would have to play some part in the story.
That was one of the weirdest chapters. So, a devil fruit that can change genders exists. Definitely one of the weirdest powers.
but if he doesn't fight the strong guys he won't get stronger. . .
I mean, he fought Crocodile, Moria, Sentamarou, Luccy and because of them he got stronger. He needs stronger foes to create new moves. It doesn't nescesarilly need to be mastering of haki yet but it can be something that shows beginning signs of him getting the general idea and of course as above described a collaboration between mr 3, mr 2, buggy and Luffy which could do the trick but my guess is Luffy is still the one defeating or severly hurting Magellan. Ace and Jinbei might be of some great help as well of course and perhaps even some lvl 5 prisoners. . .
Luffy will probably get his fight but I doubt it will be with the big boys. Despite how strong he is or how he's overcome the odds before, the fact is the upcoming war is going to be centered about the "World Powers" of the One Piece world. Luffy and the others will probably get their fights yet their fights will pale in comparison to the Shichibukai, WG, WB fights.
On the topic of Magellan, he still doesn't seem like a major villain, so I agree Luffy will probably be the one to defeat him.
Yup, I didn't think of Bentham Disguising himself as Hannyable. But it makes perfect sense now.
So, Do you think the person on the last page is Iva-san. If so, do you think she is just a good doctor or possesses a devil-fruit power?
