Well, I'm a bit late, but my birthday was the 11th (coincidence of the CENTURY). Yay for me! It was the best birthday I've ever had. XD

RE: Help with Cosplay
Allrighty then! Well, I found my Kagero (Ninja Scroll) obi, and that shows what I did much better than my Zoro sash.
You can see I took the checkered fabric I made and sewed it around 2 layers of felt. That gave the thin fabric I used the solidness it need to look right (so it wouldn't bunch up and wrinkle as I moved).
I'll have to get back to you on the patterns, the computer is being dumb and annoying the crap outta me. I'll be back as soon as I can sort this problem out. Grr! ^^;; -

RE: Help with Cosplay
Well, for adding the light green pattern, I would use Heat n' Bond Ultrahold. http://www.nwnet.co.uk/bramwell/heat.htm Stuff works great! And it's reasonably priced too, you can get a 17 inch by 5 yard roll at Wal Mart for 5 bucks. All you would do is iron the light green fabric onto the Heat n' Bond, remove the paper backing, then iron it onto your cloak or whatever. 3 things though: make sure your light green fabric does't fray too easily. This stuff is great, but it's not miraculous. ^^ Also, make sure it's not too thin; the Heat n' Bond will leak through and look like crap if you use it on thin fabric. Third thing: handwashing is recommended. And hey, the patterns for this kind of thing are super easy, great for beginners. If you want I can send you links to the ones I'd use and help you with construction questions.
Also, a tip for the reddish striped sash he's wearing: don't use just one piece of fabric for it, 'cause it'll be too flimsy. What I did for my Zoro costume is I took the green fabric, sewed the lines onto it, then folded it around 2 or 3 layers of felt. That way it didn't fold or wrinkle too much as I moved. -
RE: Help with Cosplay
Could you post some pics? Then I might be able to add my two cents. 'Cause I'm lazy, and my quick 2 second search on google didn't give me anything. ^__^

RE: One Piece home products.
Bath/Beach towels! I have a couple… My friends got them for me at Otakon this past year. There are a bunch of different ones you can get. I'll see if I can find a link for you when I get the chance, or you can just search. ^^

RE: If you could have any characters' clothes.
I am well aware of that, Ginrei. The thing is, I couldn't decide, and I went with "Aw, what the hell, might as well do something different for the fun of it". Not like I'm forcing people to post anything, I just did it because it might get a few laughs. But whatever.
Sorry, didn't mean to offend! That's just me in my usual "do what you feel like" mode. I didn't mean anything by it. ^^;; Anyways then, for you… why not Sanji's clothes? Suits look hot on everyone! ^_^
