Why do people think this is a bad thing? We always knew Toriko was an orphan and Starjun / Toriko has had a connection of sorts since the first couple of volumes.

I would rather have that than just fodder besides the King in each continent.

One of the 7 beasts looks like the fish dish of Jirou's full course so that makes two 4k+ creatures on his menu so I think it is safe to say that he and Midora
are at least 5k or so with the potential to grow much more which is pretty insane.

i think it would have been stupid if he had looked huge and menacing like the way Zebra imagined him. I like that they kept his harmless appearance.

I like the new form, creepy as fuck…
Imagine that thing ripping of heads while looking at you with that blank stare.

The powerlevels were already there when we learned that Jirou can knock the earth and that Midora can destroy it. Even the four beasts who were capture level 100-ish destroyed continents.

If Mangastream's translation is correct, the Vegetable Sky Blue Nitro's name is PAIR. The same name as Acacia's soup (Bambina's balls).

We knew since the Midora flashback that there was a nitro named Pair who was in contact with Acacia.

Haha, Average we don't have a single character in common.
It is really cool how there is a ton of good characters that appeal to different people in One Piece.
I mean where else could you find readers who don't have a single character in common in a top 15?

1. Akainu. No one comes even close… A seinen character in a shounen world.

2. Doflamingo. Epic speeches, best devil fruit usage in One Piece and one of the most interesting personalities.

3. Zoro. By far my favorite Strawhat with moments like when he took Luffy's pain and for speaking the truth during the Usopp incident / scolding Luffy for not taking things seriously in the New World.

4. Blackbeard. A smarter, more original and less naive version of Luffy. Should have been the main character.

5. Rayleigh. Has one of the best desgins and I love the way he fights. Seems like the nicest dude in One Piece, definitely someone you would want to hang out with.

6. Aokiji. Has become even more interesting after turning rogue. My favorite user of the ice element in fiction.

7. Eustass Kid. Great design, personality and power. Has a lot of potential to rise up through the ranks.

8. Kizaru. Could have been so much better but I feel like his personality and quirks allow for little development. Awesome fighting style though.

9. Fujitora. I like how he is both a master swordsman and a powerful fruit user.

10. Garp. Funny and it was great seeing him balance family and duty. Props for being top tier despite having no devil fruit or weapon.

11. Shanks. Badass as hell but that is about it.

12. Shiryu. Very little panel time but I really like him from what we have seen. Hopefully Zoros final opponent.

13. Law. Would have been higher if he had kept his punk attitude from before the timeskip.

14. Arlong. Great villain who was very intimidating at the time and got more interesting when we learned his backstory.

15. Rob Lucci. Lacks personality but I like that he is a strong zoan, his design and fighting style.

Every single member having their own reason to fight each of the bb members is lame if anything. It would simply be a too ridiculous coincidence. So far one member of the crew being involved have been enough to trigger the feelings of the entire crew in pretty much every arc.

Blackbeard more or less killing the captains brother should be reason enough to make the BB crew mortal enemies of the Straw hats.
And adding to the fire by killing another crewmembers father along with the captains role model should have the Straw hats drop everything else to aim for Blackbeards head.
