Well, it looks like if anyone is getting one, it's Zoro. Makes sense, I suppose, as it says in Tales of Vesperia, an eyepatch makes anyone holding a sword look strong and mean.

RE: Chapter 597: "3D2Y" Discussion
@AMS:
do you guys think that the color of the conqueror is the "Will of D"?
Interesting thought! I think there may end up being some relation, but I don't think they are one and the same.
I still don't understand all of the clouds when Whitebeard and Shanks crossed swords though. I definitely think there are still some surprises regarding the Haki of the Conqueror left.

RE: Next Crew Member Speculation (Ver 3.0)
I would guess that the next nakama would have to be a girl, as the ship is turning into a bit of a voyaging Sausage Fest. My guess out of everyone who has been introduced would be either Caime, or MAYBE Hebihime. I'm REALLY hoping it's her (I love Hebihime's character!), but her power seems as if it wouldn't really come in handy in big fights, and if it did, it would be too cheap.
And I'm sorry guys, I love him, but there is absolutely no way in hell that Bon Clay will ever join the Strawhat Pirates. Oda-sensei specifically said that he created Franky as a character so that Kazuki Yao (Mr 2's voice actor) would have someone on the crew to give that hilarious voice to. He neverwould have done that if he had any intention whatsoever of adding Bon Clay to the crew. The man is already voicing three recurring characters in the anime, Jango, Bon Clay, and Franky, for two out of the three of them (who sound very similar to each other) to be Strawhats would be somewhat ridiculous. Also, I have a feeling that with the recent additions of both Brooke and Franky, the ship has all the sexual deviants it needs for a while.
Besides, all of the Strawhat crewmembers have to have a skill other than fighting (Sanji - cook, Chopper - doctor, etc…). What would Mr. 2's role be, the ship's Okama cheerleader? What is his dream that he is sailing the Grand Line to fulfill? All of the Strawhats have one. It could possibly have been to meet the Okama Queen, but he's just done that. My guess is Bon-chan doesn't leave the prison paradise. :cwy:But as much as I hate to admit it, because I'm not the biggest fan of hers, in my opinion, Caime is the only one who could possibly become a Strawhat in the future, because first of all she's a girl. Secondly, she randomly shared her dream to be a clothes designer or something, a position that is open on the ship. Thirdly, she's a mermaid, and since Oda likes to keep it racially diverse as of late (human, cyborg, reindeer, skeleton), that greatly increases her chances, also since mermaids are epic swimmers, she could be the official rescuer of drowning Devil's Fruit users. She also has a ditzy personality which would contrast with Nami who is (lets face it) a bitch, and Robin who is somewhat withdrawn. Furthermore, she is indebted to them since they rescued her from slavers at least twice. I've thought it would be Caime ever since she was introduced, however I won't be mad if Hebihime joins instead, and gives Luffy some lovin' on the way to One Piece.
tl;dr version: Bon-chan will not join, there's a good chance Caime could, and I love Hancock.

RE: The Blackbeard Battle
Especially if FF Ace is killed by BB.
If Ace is killed by BB that would be insanely huge, as no characters have EVER died in One Piece other than in flashbacks to the past.

RE: Chapter 438 "Pride" Discussion
Phew! I'm so glad Usopp didn't get left behind! I was really worried there for a second…visions of him not returning 'till midway through the Mermaid Island saga were dancing through my head.

RE: The Hatchets that Would Not Be Buried: USOPP TALK. (Spoiler Warning)
Let me begin by saying Usopp is my favorite anime character of all time. The only time I've ever cried over any sort of fictional event such as a movie, anime, or book is the anime episode where he left the team. That being said, I was unsatisfied with Enies Lobby.
What I don't like about the portrayal of Usopp in Enies Lobby is that he's fallen so far behind Zoro and Sanji in terms of being an equal crew member. Think back to the Arlong saga when all three of them took on henchmen who were of roughly equal strength, specializing in different abilities. Though Usopp ran away from him for half of the battle, he still was able to overcome his enemy. I really would have liked to see Usopp take down one of the CP9, I mean, even Nami took one out! Oda could have easily made one of the CP9 specialize in sharpshooting and made an awesome Sogeking battle with him. He did absolutely nothing against CP9 but snipe Spandam, handcuff himself to Zoro, and run around looking cool.
I just want to see Usopp become as good of a Marksman as Zoro is a Swordsman and Sanji is a Martial Artist. Everyone else at the crew seems to be the very best at what they do, while Usopp doesn't get to shine very often. Hopefully as someone mentioned before, when he finally does become that great warrior of the sea, the change will be dramatic and maybe then he'll be able to stand proudly with the rest. That's just my two cents.
PS. IM SO GLAD THEY DIDN'T LEAVE HIM!!! I WAS SOOO SCARED!
