Why does Kuma ask where would one like to go on vacation?
It's his way of asking "What do you think heaven is like?" as he compresses his opponent into nothingness, thus obliterating all traces of their existence from the world.
What exactly does Kuma do with his victims though? He compresses them into nothing? Thats badass! Also if physics were applied, Kuma could be capable of so much! Pressure has many applications.
@Achitectpirate:
By the way the fire fruit can defeat the ice fruit, ice fruit, needs moisture around to work, while the fire fruit depends on heat.
Just because it is called ice fruit, doesnt necessarily mean it is only limited to ice. Temperature has nothing to do with moisture. You could say the same with fire…You need oxygen to make fire...you talk in circles
As for the logia fruits, I think that until they prove to what extent they can use their powers, ice, fire and lightning should be off limits. If they were able to push their abilities to the limits of each element it would go something like this.
Ice - Absolute zero(impossible but possibly very close) which would mean stopping time
Fire - 3.6 billion *F (hottest temperature attained on earth)
Lightning - travel at 93000 miles per sec, reach temperatures of 50000 *F
But then they would have to either be scientists or just genius to achieve all that.
Well since Lucci and Croc are the only basis we have for comparison, Id have to say Lucci could definitely pose a threat against some Shichibukai but there is a limit to how far his smarts can take him. I doubt he would be able to even challenge Mihawk.
I really believe that inside the shichibukai there are huge power level differences, and that how strong one shichibukai is in comparison to another is not considered. They don't need to be equals, they need to serve their purpose. Mihawk is probably a lot stronger than Crocodile or Lucci, for instance, but that doesn't mean Crocodile wasn't fulfilling his purpose in the organization.
The same can be said for every group in OP. The Strawhats have huge power level differences but each member plays their own role. Shichibukai are considered a world power because of how much of a threat they are to WG and what make them dangerous isnt just their physical prowess, but their cunning. Croc had the ability to cause all that chaos which is just as bad as killing a crapload of WG soldiers.
Myth Confirmed
lol
but you can controll air pressure with wind ;)
In certain conditions yes..but in general, wind is created by a difference in air pressure
BAH! You guy havent even brought in an Air pressure fruit? Air pressure is what controls weather patterns, wind, and thunderstorms. Basically its the Perfect Climatact in DF form!
Plus it sums up together all these weird coincidences. It also explains how he could have been affected by the wind in Lougetown. He could create them but then he'd have to cancel it out in order to not be affected. Imagine the havoc he could make by creating tornados, hurricanes and monsoons (Ie: Enhancing Aqua Laguna) Certainly a power worth fearing.
So yeah…Air pressure fruit
@TeeCakes:
Since you opened your own can of worms, Buddy, please explain to me how your theory of Usopp's "insubordination" is somehow worse than what Nico Robin almost tried to pull– she basically gave up not only on the entire Mugiwara Crew, but also on herself by wishing to die. Not to mention her dying mother's last wish for Robin to 'live', and the whole team of archeologists who supported Olvia as well.
Usopp merely followed his own convictions to keep his treasure, the Going-Merry-- and went as far as challenging his best friend Luffy for his beliefs. If you call him a coward for this behavior, it's a little foolish (and quite sexist) to avoid calling Nico Robin a coward as well for almost going through with suicide without even trusting in the Mugiwara Pirates to help her fight against her past demons.
Id like to clarify that Robin did not bail on the crew like she did w/ crocodile. After years of being hunted down, she felt that she was finally treated as a person and decided to protect those she "loved". She didnt betray the SH. She deemed her new nakama more important than her life and Luffy reminded her how much they value her life too. That was not cowardice.
On the other hand Usopp's main reason for sticking around was because of Going Merry. What pissed off Zoro most was that Usopp showed more allegiance to "his" ship than he did to the captain, who obviously felt as bad about the ship. Their fight was never about the fact that he bailed on them (Robin was easily enough forgiven). It was all about respect, or as the latest chapter put it, Pride.
For the record– Usopp never ran away. After he 'quit', he came back on his own as Sogeking, but he still ended up fighting alongside his crew when they needed him.
He put on the mask so he wouldnt have to confront Luffy and so he could boast his greatness. Though they did need his help, he just wanted to be part of the scene and felt bad if he was left out. Technically thats running away from an apology.
@Fire Fist:
3. Island where pirates go to stay and then it sinks
Like I said. High tide, Low tide. It explains the abandoned ships. It might have a tie-in with merman island and its very logical.
My second guess would be Methane pockets in the sea bed. When the land shifts, they are released and sink boats w/ their huge bubbles and mess w/ electronics and compasses. Its a proven theory for the Bermuda triangle disappearances.
@Mr.:
More than like it will be the same effect, seeing sea water drains the power from the devil fruit user and makes them feel weak.
yeah it prevents them from moving on their own….let me see...do boats sink into the water if the cant move on their own??? i think not. It would just be still and float leaving the crew to sail it. Get it near the shore and its springs to life!! =]
@Le:
Well, human beings are naturally buoyant (usually), and they seem to sink like rocks when they eat devil fruits, so….
When human beings swallow water,they lose that buoyancy and sink. I dont think you can hold your breath while unconscious. Ships on the other had stay bouyant until a tsunami takes em down…or someone drills a hole in the hull.
