What a great chapter this was. Character interaction and moments have always been one of Oda's biggest strengths and this one had lots of standout moments.
It's a bit disappointing that the Gorosei are just as flat as any Celestial Dragon but everyone is probably used to that by now ever since Saturn's turned out to be a boring evil guy.
The Looney Tunes action on the other hand continues to be a blast. Oda's clearly enjoying himself getting zanier and zanier.
I actually think their flavor of evil is quite unique for One Piece at least. Just this overwhelming callousness. They aren't cackling maniacs like other wannabe gods Enel and Doflamingo or petty idiots the other world nobles. They truly act above it all. Saturn showed a sadistic streak but he didn't really revel in it like other villains.
It's a fairly common villain archetype, but in One Piece they stand out because everybody else is so quirky. But these guys are just all business and no fun. It really feels like they exist to oppose joy itself, so they're a very good contrast to G5.
