Well this is some big news, it seems Adam Cole's contract with WWE might be up after Summerslam. This is making me wonder if he will be joining Britt at AEW.
WWE and other fed: Disccusion

A few months ago, I started watching Jim Crockett Promotion (starting with the lead up to Starrcade 85) for the first time, The Midnight Express were an awesome tag team. Their feud with the Rock and Roll Express is just fun. RIP Bobby Eaton.
-
It's been a weird week and a half with ME news between finding out Stan Lane may or may not be Lauren Bobert's father, then Bobby Eaton passing.

I at the very least hope Mercedes was medically cleared before she got cut.
-
I hope Mercedes is medically cleared as well. I'm shocked about Bronson Reed, Tyler Rust, and Bobby Fish getting released.
-
Good lord, Nick Khan absolutely gutted NXT.
-
Keith Lee explains why he was gone from the end of January until recently.
-
I like how the narrative around this is that “You see Vince doesn’t hate Keith Lee he was just looking out for his health and all the dirtsheets and AEW fans should be ashamed for disparaging WWE with all their rampant speculation”.
It’s like people ignore a couple of things one is which is that WWE could’ve been more transparent about why Lee was kept off TV instead of letting people speculate as to why he was off TV as long as he was. But why publicly announce one of your talent is off of TV because of a combination of contracting COVID and a potential heart problem. Even when you’re okay with guys announcing legitimate retirements because of injury or announcing they’ll be stepping away because of their cancer returning
Secondly I won’t go so far as to say Vince and WWE don’t care about the health of their wrestlers but if you look at the company’s history and even with current shit like continuing to put green/untrained people in the ring along with Jey Uso controversy they’re incredibly wishy-washy.
-
Great first episode of Rampage. I'm happy that Fuego is now officially signed with AEW. Also I'm happy that Jamie Hayter is back in AEW, since she haven't appeared on AEW since the pandemic happened.
-
Okay time to get rid of this spot
-
So Roman Reigns recently made some comments that apparently were a dig at CM Punk.
Should somebody remind Roman that not only was Cena nowhere near as over as Rock was but no one in the company within the last 18 years in WWE was as over as the Rock, Austin, or Hogan. Also for all the bitching from WWE fanboys who complain about former talent taking shots at the company mighty weird they’re perfectly fine with Roman bitching about former WWE talent.
-
It's funny that Roman's comments came out on the day before Punk's big return. I'm not the biggest CM Punk fan, but I'm more excited about tomorrow's episode of Rampage then both Summerslam and Takeover (Which also could be Adam Cole's final show with WWE). The sad thing, the only match I really cared about on the Summerslam card is Edge Vs. Rollins.
-
We might be getting another debut tonight besides Punk on tonight's episode of Rampage.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Sasha vs. Bianca might be canceled

CM Punk is officially back. That was an amazing promo by him. Also that shot towards WWE was amazing.

Roman was asked a question by the interviewer and gave his answer while in character. He's working the marks.
Anyway, Punk's return was special and a dig at WWE's higher ups was expected, but understandable. I'm looking to the fresh matches and feuds that he'll have in AEW.
-
The one feud that I'm looking for is Punk and MJF. Just for the promos alone. The exciting thing about Punk being in AEW there are so many matches I want to see.
-

Which I got doesn't make his comments any less stupid or weird.
-
Kinda weird that she was given the Smackdown Women's title but between the clusterfuck the Raw women's division has been for the last year and with Bayley out hurt and whatever the hell is wrong with Sasha [shrugs].
Edit: And Charlotte won the Raw Women's title (again) LOL this fucking company.
-
More reason to be mad about all of the recent releases from WWE.
-
So basically all roads lead to Vince on releases…....eventhough Vince doesn't seem to remember he has that power?
While Khan is a masochist while paradoxically admitting he doesn't derive any pleasure he derives from all the bad press relating to some of the questionable decisions he's involved in/oversees?
-
I just realized listening to old Bryan & Vinny reviews that Akam & Rezar the former Author's Of Pain. Is essentially supposed to be a play on Occam's Razor.
The fuck?
-
I'm not a Kross fan. But what he's wearing on Raw right now make him look terrible.

Think that's the idea.
-
Really hope wherever Ruby ends up at next treats her right, she was near criminally underused and underrated in WWE
-
Can someone tell R-Truth that if CM Punk was upset over him and Triple H jobbing to Awsome Truth at Vengeance in 2011 Punk every reason to bitch considering he got Pinned at PPV for the 4 straight time.
Made all the more dumb by the fact that Punk got pinned not Triple H the guy who in storyline attacked Truth & Miz after the Hell In A Cell Main Event and fired them on Raw the next night for attacking Cena & Punk after the match.
That and Awesome Truth sucked.
-
Both Booker and Truth shouldn't be talking. Since both of them said stuff about WWE, while they were in TNA. Also, I'm not a fan of the new NXT logo.
-
At tonight's NWA Empowerrr ppv, Awesome Kong officially announced her retirement from pro wrestling.

True, but its far from unusual for people within this type of employment (see also players in high profile team sports such as soccer, basketball, etc) when individuals big up their current employer despite the hypocracy of doing the same for another in different employment. Just shows the individual up a little more for who they are really.
On a completely unrelated note am I the only one hoping that Punk/Darby is a one off match and not a long term feud?

-
So that Charlotte-Nia match on Raw.
-
Yeah, I don't even want to talk about that match. In other news, NXT is pretty much doom now, with Vince and Bruce producing it now.
-
This isn't good. More NXT releases are coming.

That new logo though someone should tell the graphic design artist it’s 2021 not 1991.
-
The tournament blocks for this years, G1 Climax have been announced.
-
Fairly solid show, but do feel that the fake out for Cole/Danielson was too much, felt they missed a trick by doing one at the ppv and one on tv two/three weeks later but can't blame them if they want to get these guys on tv quicker.
Quick question though on Cole… anyone have any idea what will happen with Woods upupdowndown set up now Cole is AEW, I get its Woods channel but I imagine WWE won't take kindly to Cole being on it now hes AEW...
-
As Woods explained WWE does own it but I don’t think anything happens to it because of Cole going down south.
-
The main rumor why, Cole left WWE is because of the entire twitch situation. I highly recommend watching the AEW media scrum from last night. The media scrum is making it excited for the upcoming future for AEW. And we still got Arthur Ashe show coming up.
-
AEW is white hot right now. Having a legitimate number 2 promotion in the US is what's best for this business.
-
Are we talking in fan enthusiasm?
-
The main event on AEW Dark tonight is really good and I highly recommend the match. Both Diamante and Big Swole did a great job in the match. Also I been enjoying their feud that they been having on both Elevation and Dark for the last two months.
-
Man, WWE is really petty about the entire thing with Mick Foley calling them out. I agree with Mick, since this have been a problem with WWE for almost 15 - 16 years now. Well besides NXT from 2014 - 2019 run, the only good stuff in recent years was Smackdown from the Summer of 2016 through Wrestlemania 33.

Try about 20-25 years.
Well besides NXT from 2014 - 2019 run,
You know the rules we don't talk about what happens in NXT since WWE doesn't care about NXT
