Hey Guys, I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but it seems that every episode of One Piece has been pulled from Youtube due to Copyright Infringement
One Piece taken off Youtube
-
-
Which is SUUUUUUUUUUUUUPER gay!!!!!!!
-
Well it does break copyright laws, so it is what youtube have to do to avoid legal action.
-
Ok…
Yeah, I guess that sucks for anyone who doesn't have a fast enough connection to dowload episodes...
But... You should change the topic title. XD
-
Goddammit. That was my only way of watching them.
-
Nooooo!!!!!
Edit:
Um… -
yes, then try and open one…
-
I just tried…they worked for me.
Did you try them all?
Edit: nevermind, it just happened that the first one I clicked on was the one that still worked, most of the other ones seem to be down.
I wonder who reported them?
Edit again: I just went through the list breifly, there's still a bunch that do work, kind of wierd.
Heh, I don't know how to change thread titles yet, I'll have to look into that. XD
-
Damn, this sucks. Because I don't have IRC, Youtube has been my savior ever since I gave up on HK (on episode 126).
Coincidentally, this happened just when I fully caught up with K-F's One Piece.
-
Torrents don't work for you either? Also, in the K-F forum, there is a thread that releases AVI versions of each new episode in direct download format.
-
Apparently they removed other anime also, Naruto for example.
-
Fiends.
-
Meh, oh well. It seems I'm gonna have to get off my lazy butt and get me a codec and the other stuff necessary for KF. It's better quality when downloaded anyways; just as long as I can still watch the pillows videos.
-

Nope, no torrents either.
Actually, since I recently got a new computer, maybe I should give IRC another try after my school exams are over. I was originally going to do that, but then I discovered One Piece on Youtube, so the purpose was kind of defeated.
-
Pish posh, they upload them again just as quickly.
-
One of my videos were taken down. I find it odd that out of nowhere, animes start getting taken down. I'm lucky, I just got to the most recent episode, but for my brother, he was only at 155, so now he's going to have to use torrents.
-
@Mr.:

Just download VLC player.
Nope, no torrents either.
Did you look into the reason? Firewall maybe? There's always a solution on a computer. Unless you're using an ancient scrap pile.
-
Last time I made a topic where I thought youtube was removing all the anime I got flammed. Seems people actually give a damn now. The only anime I saw so far taken down was NGE (Thank you!! I'm so glad I've still never seen that anime and I never will I tell ya! >:D) by ADV Films.
Some asshole is probably just attacking it, probably a dubbie. I suggest we all start reuploading One Piece and overpower them~!!
Currently I'm uploading my first video to youtube. One Piece Movie 5. 12 parts.
I might just have to reup all the episodes…it will take awhile tho.
I was just thinking...could it be a fan of Gerusama? Do you think a gerusama fanboy is attacking them cause he or she thinks people who claiming the subs as their own?
-
The dubbies are revolting. Get yer swords.
Interestingly enough, Dub Piece (the fandub) didn't get deleted off Y*uTube.
-
Nope, scratch that. Skypiea is being removed.
(Pulls out huge sword) I'm ready, bring those bitches and their suction cups.
oddly enough cocks his sword like a shotgun
Let the out of context fly!
-
Interestingly enough, Dub Piece (the fandub) didn't get deleted off Y*uTube.
Most likely because it's a parody, I suppose.
-
You know, I'm lucky. Just 2 days ago, maybe less I watched episode 172-191 of One Piece on youtube cause I haven't kept up to date with Kaizoku Fansubs (was waiting for them to release alot).
Maybe I'm, cursed?
-

I quote myself because I checked some dubbed episodes and they WORKED. Oh snap!
-
I can taste spleens.
-
I see you've fully had yourself prepaired for this moment, UNKNOWNFILE.
-
Reads UNKNOWNFILE's post
Lets wait a few days before we make assumptions. If By Saturday the dub episodes aren't removed…
PURGE THE IMBECILES!!!
Edit:
What was I thinking? Since the Naruto episodes are removed too, then if it is a dubbie, it's probably a general dubbie.
-
Alittle curious…what did you edit out of his post Cos-chan?
-
What? Who's Cos?
-
CosmicDebris fool! I like to call her Cos, now I'm starting to add chan after it.
-
Did you look into the reason? Firewall maybe? There's always a solution on a computer. Unless you're using an ancient scrap pile.
My old computer was extremely old, had a virus, and had hardly any memory left in it. Plus it had a dial-up modem.

Same here. In the past month, I watched episodes 127-191 and just got finished today. It's kinda freaky.
-
It took you a month to watch 127-191? Did you get effected by Foxy's devil fruit? I'm kidding. Animes are long. But usually I can watch a 26 episode anime in 2-3 days.
-
Sorry to double post, but I've found the reason. it wasn't dubbies at all. It was actually posted right on my bulletin board on my youtube profile.
http://www.youtube.com/bulletin_read?id=KPQ4Ac2Oatc
Why this guy is paranoid all of a sudden is beyond me.
Scratch that, read the comments on his profile. http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=krisrulesz
-
Naruto episodes have been removed as well. Now I think I know the cause…
Because both these series have been lisenced here already, they won't let you upload the subs on YouTube anymore.
Maybe some other anime can stay because they haven't aired in the U.S.
-
Alittle curious…what did you edit out of his post Cos-chan?
I just tried to change the title of the thread, and failed….haven't had the time to figure out how to do it yet.
-
Well, if they are gonna remove ALL licensed anime from youtube they got a large task before them. But I have a good feeling they will. What sucks more is now with the 10 min rule the chances of them being reuploaded has dropped 10x.
All the full anime episodes loaded 3+ months ago will be gone. ;_;
Personally. I see youtube banning anime period.
-
kris most certainly does not rule.
Zing!
I suppose if it's really bad someone could just upload the videos on dailymotion.com or something since it's pretty much youtube with an assortment of random porn.
-
Well, another reason (besides the copyright) is that all those videos break the Youtube rules(less than 10 minutes and less than 100 MBs)
-
But some episodes broke it down into parts.
-
They can't use "breaking the rules" against ANYTHING. They put that rule about 2 months or so ago. Before that they didn't have a time limit so if they try pulling that they can just stfu and read their own history.
-
Maybe 4kids has copyrighted all One Piece Anime, so now it's illegal.
AAAAHHHHHHH!!!! Now the only One Piece I can can see has stupid voices and Zolo and Trace and… (Enters Fetal Position) -
Guys…I'm about to ask a very serious...and disturbing question....
If 4kids shut down K-F, Gerusama, and ADC...what would you do?
And...if they were threated to be sued if they didn't take their website down..do you think they'd take it down in a heartbeat or actually face what 4kids throws at them? (stupid question, of course they will save their asses)
-
One word. Kazaa.
-
So you think they would release future episodes through another means than a website with IRC and Bittorrent? And if 4kids caught them safe to say shit would hit the fan.
-
I hope 4kids doesn't find out, or I'm moving to japan.
EDIT:One Piece episodes are all almost gone, except for some Enies Lobby. -
OMG! Guys, I just checked my subscriptions. YouTube is removing EVERY licensed anime there is! I predicted this a few months ago….I was right.
The moment where you couldn't find any anime on youtube through search for a few hours a couple months ago was foreshadowing..
-
Well… Guess YouTube has just turned into another MySpace now... Bummer...
-
4kids can't copyright One Piece. Copyright is owned by Eiichiro Oda.
-

Well… Maybe not copyright... But they have lisenced it.
YouTube states that no full-length shows on their website are allowed.
-
I just checked and nearly all of the ones left still work. Thats good for some people.
-
Well… Maybe not copyright... But they have lisenced it.
Yes, but we all know that. It's been licensed 2 years now. The question was about copyright, which was silly.
