@CaptainAWB1:
Thank you, Forbidden Toast.
You know, Bleach has always confused me in so many ways….
1. Who's Ichigo?
Ichigo is the main character. He has a big ego, and has the 'hero' quality of having to save everyone. He serves as a substitute shingami (death god) for Rukia after she saves his family from a hallow.

2. I'm probably going to need to know this as well. What're Ichigo's powers and personality like?
Like I said, he is very egoistic and defendant of his friends. He is also a very confident character… and at the same time he can be an idiot ^_^ Ever since he could remember, he can see ghots. He had a enourmous ammount of spirit power, so when he became a shimgami to save his family (with the help of Rukia) he took on his responsibilities as being a 'subsitiute' shingami. He gets to wave around a sword as tall as he is! I don't want to say too much, in case you actually plan on reading it. If you want to spoil yourself however, it is on bleachTV.
3. Anything else I need to know about Ichigo?
I think I covered it. D=
4. Please explain "Temporary soul" to me. What is it and what does it do?
If you are reffering to the soul inside Kon, it is a modified soul. They were originally created to use in combat with hollows by putting a sould made for combat into a dead body. In the end, it was decided they would be scrapped so he was lucky to survive. Kon has a nack for jumping because of his ability as a modified soul. Ichigo and Rukia saved him from beind destroyed when they were going to collect him for accidently selling him to Rukia (he was a 'defective' product) and they placed the pill (the form his soul is in when he isn't in a body) into a lion stuffed animal. Therefore, the Kon we love.
5. What's Shinigami duty?
Sending wandering souls to soul society (heaven pretty much) and defeating hollows so they can become normal souls again and either go to soul society (cleansed of the sins they commited as a hollow) or to hell (if they commited moral sins when they were alive. Hollows are human souls that had their chain of fate in any way removed from their body (a chain that links the soul to their body once they die) They typically are people with despair, regret, sorrow, etc. More info on Bleach TV
6. Who's Rukia?
The singami that potrolled the district that Ichigo lives in, and saved him and his family by lending him her death god (shingami) powers, so now he must serve as her substitute untill Rukia can get her powers back, which she mysteriously couldn't get back after the encounter.
I'm not good at descriptions, so overall, I recommend you read the magna. =)
