Anybody else reading Maken no Daydreamer? It's another manga in a similar vein to Fairy Tail, except more enjoyable (or at least it is to me).
Description: Minato is a college student who died in a plane crash and was reincarnated in a fantasy world. He was raised alone in the wilderness by his succubus mother, and now he tries to make his way as an adventurer.
Genres: Shounen, Comedy, Fantasy, Romance, Adventure, Drama, Action, Ecchi, Harem.
The "Ecchi" aspect is pretty subdued, especially when compared to Fairy Tail. It's not a distraction from the plot, and it almost may as well not even be listed as a Harem series, since the winner is pretty clear, with Elk being the only one who sticks around as far as I've seen.
So far, really my only complaint is the whole "succubus mother" thing which is really weird. They handwave her behavior away as they're not blood related because of magic bullshit stuff, and her being a succubus, but it's still off-putting. But she goes on her own adventure after the introductory chapters and is only mentioned since (at least as far as I've read), so it's whatever. The magic bullshit stuff is that she finds him abandoned in poor health as a baby, so she tries to heal him, but can't for some reason. So she does what every rational succubus does and turns him back into a fetus and carries him to term herself.
