"At the current moment, we can't announce anything official," it was said. "But this is a fighting game, so we know that the amount of characters is very important for this genre. We plan to have a big roster, so stay tuned."What do yall think they mean by big?
Are they talking bigger than PW 3?

If anything, I hope the game has a much bigger roster than J-stars. The rosters in that game was tiny.

PW3 featured the most important characters of OP.
Including
3 Yonkos
All Shichibukais (except WB Jr.)
All Marine Admirals (except Sengoku)If BB fills these holes with some characters that always seems to be forgotten by the developers then this really could become One Piece' Budokai Tenkaichi 3.

CombosIt seems that (anime) games have two of these three criterias.
BT3 had a huge amount of characters and a nice set of combos. But a really cheap Story Mode.Storm has also a huge amount of characters (but not that much) and a nice Story Mode. But the combos are extremely limited.
PW3 had a little bit of each. It normally doesn't fit in this category but nevermind.
I prefer Characters and Combos over Story Mode but maybe we ever get all three

Pretty much once x Drake got revealed as playable it pretty much guaranteed that this will be a bigger roster than PW3
Keep in mind it is a fighter without much characters the game will fall flat. They'll have to add balancing, Combos, etc. I'm expecting a lot from this game so they better deliver.

But you are getting really annoying. You always have great titles on your videos and we always think you will tell us something new but what you are telling us is ether some thoughts of you or you explain old stuff that most of us already know -

I think it's establish in the series that Blackbeard will be Luffy's final opponent in the new world when he reaches raftel. (his last destination.) That's not what I meant. The manga's latest villain is Doffy. And the reviewer claims that the game follows the manga and that he got to fight Doffy as a boss.

OH! XD That makes sense. lol I was just saying that if we were to ever get the definitive One Piece game. It would have to be made after the series is over. Imagine over 200+ hours going through all of the main storyline of the manga from beginning to end. A fighting game that has over 2000 characters? Another Pirate Warriors game that actually stays true to the source material? Or… It could be an open world action adventure game? ;) Correct me if I'm wrong? But I don't think we ever had that before made with a big budget like some of the big AAA titles on the next generation of consoles. I could write a full post on what and how this game could be made? But I'm saving it until I have an idea on what to write.

In terms of localization, is the plan for full localization including voice? Or just subtitles?
We are localizing the text for each country, but for the voice we are only using Japanese voiceover. The reason is because we want to produce the original atmosphere of the One Piece series.

The best game that follows the OP story and its characters and all, for me, is the Treasure Cruise, for iphone and android. It starts from kid Luffy and goes on each island. At the moment the japanese version will release Thriller Bark part 2, but every 2 weeks there's a special island, with different theme, foccusing on an enemy and almost each enemy gets at least one, as well as colorspread themes like the kimono mugiwara, valentine's day, halloween etc. They have almost every char of the story (even the ones that don't fight like Aisa, or past ones like Bellemere and Calgara, and each animal that appeared as well), and lots, lots of different version (moves, attacks, costumes). It is very interesting because everything is based on the manga, colorspreads or movies (like having Zephyr as a boss).
Anyway, you should already know, there's a thread for the game XD
I guess it would be impossible to do the same on the last generation console just because there is too many characters. The TC already is 1 GB of size, imagine the size for a PS4 game, or something like it… -

Seeing how Luffy's Red Hawk connects with the opponent and they kind of tense up and cringe, makes me wonder how it will look hitting Nami, or Robin with it….just thinking about makes me shiver, hopefully they will confirm one if any female characters soon

I feel like he's really hit or miss with making it because despite being part of the story and traveling with the straw hats for over 150 chapters (…wait what wow!) he really hasn't contributed much to the current storylines. He had a few minor fights and a showed off a few attacks. He didn't make it into Pirate Warriors 3, but he is in Grand Battle X. With Bartolomeo, Drake, and Kid making playable, I'd say his chances are pretty good, especially if we get a 40+ roster, but I'm really not sure if he'll be included

It's possible for him to be in the game especially since they would like to have a large roster plus he's done some fighting so I can see them making a Moveset for him, without any problems.

Why wouldn't they give Sanji moves to Sanji? even if those guys aren't ingame Sanji is and the moves are his lol, with that said I believe at least Vergo is probably going to be ingame.

That's my question? How did AngryStormGamer became popular on this website? Was it because he was the first dude who talked about Burning Blood? I didn't see him get mentioned in this forum until more details were revealed about this game. And even then… How! lol When the first trailer for the game came out. We knew jack shit about it outside of that PlayStation experience in Japan. I could be wrong though? But I saw a video in any of the search resolts of YouTube. Even when it was bread new. Am I missing something? :/

A friend of the Youtuber had exclusive content from some Bandai meeting. After that everybody thought he is like an insider and all his content would be right. Which was wrong. 2 or 3 Videos were new to us and had value but other than that the rest is bullshit.
And nobody would be mad if he wouldn't use click bait titles.
