At jump fest 04, Otani Ikue ( Choper seiyu) ask, " Where's your promise to eliminate one of luffy crew". Oda reply, " This year, i will eliminate one of them for sure. Last year i can't do that, because i have other arcs to finish. This year, i will do it for sure". Oda continue his speech, "But i wouldn,t make the fan sad. Cuz there's old character from Arabasta arc will appear".
My prediction for the one who will be eliminate is Zoro. Because too many fighter in luffy's group. About old character from arabasta who will appear again, is kinda hard to predict. My prediction is Okama, Berre, Igaram, King Nefertari.

Um, pretty sure we've known about this for a while now. A lot of people are suggesting Going Merry as a possible crew mate to leave (eliminate) in light of the Klabautermann revelation.

uh, this issue has been mentioned OVER AND OVER and has been discussed OVER AND OVER AND OVER.
alabasta character has appeared in the mini story. that ought to be what oda meant. as for the eliminated one, it's kinda obvious it's going to be the meri.

Battle Franky and others beated me. Yeah, old news and Going Merry Gou is the only one which can be eliminated without making too many fans upsetted.
I think somebody, was it Sera, said Oda has been muttering about Bon Clay.

Yeah, everything's definitely already been said and done on the issue…but all I'll add is this...Zoro is one of the least likely characters to be eliminated. They wouldn't want their readership to die, and let's face it..he is a popular character, like him, or not.

I really hope he IS just talking about Merry. If ANY of the 7 people in the crew are eliminated, I'll be very sad. But Oda said I won't be sad, so I don't think it's going to be like that.
