Some people !? How about the vast majority
I'm a senior at Ferris High School in Spokane, WA (which I'm fine with giving out. if you google it mine is the first one on the list anyway). We're infamous for our god-tier music department, especially in jazz and wind performance, our XC and basketball teams, the football team which just in the last year began to stop sucking horribly, and of course the um… teacher sex scandal and dumb emo kids bringing guns to campus.
I really love it here though. My school is LITERALLY a campus - we don't have just one huge building for all the classes, we have like seven and each is geared towards different fields of study. Makes getting to class a bitch, especially in the winter, but I wouldn't have it any other way :)
-
You are in Cupertino High!? My ex went there. Before she moved, she went to Monta Vista o.o My other friend went to Lymbrook, and yeah, there were loads of Asians there…
If I were hs student here, I went to Saratoga high.
ocean <- lived in a rich neighborhood xDRight now will be... Independence High.
-
Before she moved, she went to Monta Vista o.o
How weird… that was my elementary school. Must be a different Monta Vista
-
anyway, cupertino is mixed with all races and is a average school
-
We have Monta Vista High here :D
-
Senior at Mayfield High School in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. We have one of the longest school days, 7:30-3:00. It has 8-12 graders. Our football and soccer teams are good, while our basketball sucks.
-
Heh, I had an ex-boyfriend that went to Cupertino high, I think. That was…a long time ago. XD
I'm not in HS anymore, but when I did go, I went to Estancia High in Costa Mesa my first two years and then Los Alamitos the second two, because of OCHSA (Orange County High School of the Arts).
PS - I gradutated with an AA from Orange Coast Community College. Further plans not certain.
-
I went to a little highschool in Florida of about 3500 named DeLand High School… but I graduated in 2004. I bet no one here has ever heard of it. BUT we were apparently on MTV for pulling a prank involving putting bee hives all in the school halls- class was cancelled for the day.
Now I go to DBCC (Daytona Beach Community College), and after my AA, I want to go to either UCF or FSU.
-
I graduated from Frontier High School in Hamburg, New York.
-
hold on, my school is 9-12. ral, you go to school earlier before we went there
-
I go to capital high school in Olympia, Washington. Its basicly a really prepy school that has all the sterotypes that you would expect any high school to have, you know, preps, wanna be preps, gangsters, wanna be gangsters, normal people, the people who flunk out who are proboly emo. Its all the same at most schools.
Last year our football team allmost one the state championship but we got beaten by some school in Tacoma. Also our cross country team this year kicks ass and is proboly gonna do really well.
GO COUGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Well, I'm starting school tomorrow. How fitting.
I go to fabulous Northwood High in Irvine, CA (aka "The Bubble"). We're the Timberwolves (so part of me is hoping that Jabura turns out to be a wolf; the other wants him to be some kind of small, yappy dog), and our fine arts programs are topnotch. I don't pay attention to sports, though (except for the godly ComedySportz; our school's team won the city cup last year). It's a very new school (started in 1999), with around 60% white people, 30% Asians, and 10% other (couldn't remember exact stats for each group; don't hate me).
There's a teacher with the last name "Mello" here…I freaked when I heard.
Sister: ...there's a teacher with the name "Mello"...
Me: ...what?!
Sis: Yeah.
Me: Wait, like with a w? ...is it spelled how I think it's spelled?
Sis: Yup.
Me: Hot damn.Nearby is Arnold O. Beckman (<-ha!) High School, which, despite its closeness to mostly-white-and-Asian Irvine, is primarily Mexican.
And I think most of the schools around here aren't contained in one building. It's probably the weather--sunny and hot most of the time. (I hate it. I'm moving to Canada or something, I swear.)
-
Eh, graduated from Athens Drive HS in Raleigh, NC.

Hahaha ! We just BEAT the defending state champions, 42-18 on Monday XD And we're expected to kick more ass this year as a plus. I smell impromptu state pep band trip :9

I change schools almost every damn year, but I'm now a senior at Taravella. Pretty…..cheap school.
-
I'm a senior (only we don't call it that here) at Mount Carmel College,
a catholic school. I like it. It's on a hill by a river and most of the teachers are cool. I like the acedemic focus and they are good at helping you out if you start to fall behind. Juniors and Seniors even get free tutoring, if needed, to help them get enough pre-tertiary classes to get into the Uni (which is across the street from my school. A big, fat, white carrot.)
It takes 1 1/2 hours each way to get there and back so it had better be good!Alex

I'm past High School, but I went to Highland
-

I graduated from Willis High School in Willis Tx last may. We were the Wildkats (yes, spellt with a 'k'. They say it's to be original, but I think that they were just high when they came up with it) Ironically enough, we were known as being a druggie school. :P Anway, I now go to a College where we are the BearKats. Oh the irony.
-
I'm a junior at Triton High School…
Too tired to cheer for the Hawks... =_=

-
I'm a senior at a place called Warren High, with 3700 students this year.
-
Genki and I go to good ol' (can't believe I just said that) Belfry High School in Belfry, Kentucky….....and just because we live in KY we aren't hicks. We hate hicks! LOL. It actually has one of the best punk and hardcore scenes out there for you punkers on AP.
-
I went to Tampa Bay Tech in Florida. Good times. Now I'm at Boston University… eh. Not quite such good times so far.
-
I want to Belleview High for my first three years, then I switched to Forest High for the last year, which actually switched buildings in the middle of the year, so in a way I went to three different high school buildings. Both of those were in Ocala, Florida. But now I'm passing time at Central Florida Community College because, really, I don't know what I'm doing with my life yet. Not good.
-
I'm a freshie in the corner of hell known as Aloha High School. Satain's wife teaches my algebra class! :D
The only good thing about my school is that the principal looks like Dumberdore.
-
I happen to go to a school called Miami Killian Senior High. Resides in Miami, FL obviously.
Its my Junior Year
-
Hmmm I went to a small small small school known as Sherrard. My graduating class had 103 people in it. And that was actually the smallest class in a few years. Total school population was like 800something my senior year. Plus to make it all the worse, my school was in the middle of a cornfield!

I'm a third year college student, currently studying at Louisiana State University, because my home instititution of University of New Orleans was damaged in the hurricanes.
I'll be returning to UNO next semester, though. :)
-
I went to Glendale High School in CA. Now I work there.

Are you a teacher? My major is English, but once I get my degree, another twenty hours will get me qualified for a teaching position.

I'm an Assistant Teacher. I also majored in English.
You're going to be a teacher? Then I wish you luck.

That's great. :) My mom's actually a teacher, so I know what I'm getting into. I wanted to teach English as a foreign language, but I wouldn't mind teaching English/Reading and History, either.
-
Go to freedom high school in Florida with a population of 3245 and I'm a sophomore there wait i mean number 4801332399
-

Really? Same thing with my mother.
-
Really? Same thing with my mother.
My dad's not particularly pleased with my profession-of-choice (he claims teachers don't make any money, which is true, but it's something I'd enjoy), but the fact that I'm interested in interpratation appeases him just a little.

Well… I'm a junior at McDowell High School in Erie, PA. It features two buildings, one dedicated to 9th and 10th graders, and one dedicated to 11th and 12th graders, with a walkway (and soon-to-be skybridge) connecting the two, in the case one needs to travel down or up. (I have to travel for three of my eight classes... Spanish, Concert Band, and Computer Applications. >_<) The good thing is, though, you get out of your previous class like ten minutes early.
And, uh, we do block scheduling: Four 90-minute classes a day, with third block being two hours long so you can get out for lunch during a quarter of it. We get out at 2:25; Gotta be in Homeroom by 7:35.
And... well... Yeah.

Belvidere High School, of Belvidere, Illinois. Around 2000 students go there, and it's crowded as hell.
Which is precisely why I'm glad I'm in Special Ed. ^_^
On another note, our football team, the Buccaneers, were on a nice winning streak for a while before they got reamed in the quarterfinals. I don't like football, but hey, school pride and shit like that.
-
With such a great name they still…?
But you think that's crowded? I think my old school had somewhere close to 5,000.
