No…not the 4Kids version and not in .torret either. I need help to download episodes above 130!
(I heard that torrets were illegal and i could get sued easily...then again so does downloading anime. :P)

Look above your post, to the sticky topic that says Where to get the Anime.
And torrents themselves aren't illegal. Downloading anime is, but it's not enforced. Nobody is going to sue you.

Just get em from Kaizoku-Fansubs.com.
he said he didnt want torrent. why doent u just buy the hk subs then
He can use IRC. That's the only way he can do it, unfortunately. Either torrents or IRC. Buying those HK bootlegs are illegal too, and really, a lot worse in every aspect. ;)
then why do they sell them in the stores wtf. i bought my hk subs in a store…lol
Because some stores can get away with selling that kind of stuff. Same with Ebay. Your money goes to the Chinese mafia.
Just use IRC if you don't like bittorrent. It is simple enough to use. Kaizoku-Fansubs has IRC bot listings up to episode 160 (plus other things).
Two things,
One. What are "HK Subs?"
Two. Where do I get IRC?
Three (i lied there's 3). So…torrets aren't MAJORLY illegal?
hk subs are hong kong subs. they have shit subtitles but they work. they have to episode 206. i wouldnt buy them tho unless u have crappy internet connection for dling bittorent. also isnt irc illeagl too, but who cares seriously it's not like cops are gonna come into your freakin house and arrest u. i really think the illeagl downloading thing is a piece of shit, i mean ppl still do it. seriously. especially stuff like anime subs. i think there are too damn scrit. if i were the govermeamt illeagl downloading would be the least of my worries. >.>

It IS the least of theor worries. They really don't care. Even if 4kids decided to stop it there isn't much they scan do.
IRC - www.mirc.com There's tutorials in this forum.
No, torrents aren't "majorly" illegal. A lot of things are illegal. It's technically illegal for all of us to be posting pictures from One Piece and using them as our signatures and avatars. There is no form of downloading episodes that is any more or less illegal. So if you're going to do it at all, just do it. It's not enforced, you won't get arrested. The first that that would happen is one of the fansub sites will get shut down. But so far, nobody seems to care about them.

uhhh….Would those HK subs you are talking about be those large DVD sets with the 6 discs, poor cd holding compartments (up to at least vol 3), and be sold on EBay at like $1.50 and have $59.95 shipping?
Also thanks for the tips everyone.

Most probably so. Currently there are NO legal English-subbed One Piece DVDs available (unless 4kids has already released theirs and I didn't know) in the world. There are VCDs produced by a Singapore licensor though.
Between buying bootlegs and downloading fansubs, I think it's better to download because at least fansubbers aren't in it for the profit. A lot of fans are anime downloaders but spend their money in manga and merchandises instead.
Torrent and IRC is really easy once you get the hang of it. :) (Or is it that you can't use them because a firewall or something?) If you really can't dl, maybe try finding a friend with cable internet and ask them to dl for you and burn it to CD? That's what I've been doing for some of my friends.

I can d/l it but I was afraid torrets were some sort of tracking system to sue people. I don't care about that anymore after hearing before about what everyone had to say.

I know some instances where the company make torrents of their own movies to trap downloaders and later send them C&D letters, but it's more of a shock teraphy. IINM, only the tracker/seeder can see our IPs. A friend of mine once got a letter like that from Universal Studios, but he never get sued (besides we're in Singapore… I doubt they'd bother). But for anime that kind of thing is never heard.
I've been downloading torrents for a year, and I don't expect any trouble. But if it makes you nervous, learn IRC instead. Most people seem to think it's better and easier anyway (but not everyone :P)
1. Torrents ARE NOT illegal. At least the techonlogy isn't. Heck, the torrents file themselves are far from illegal because they only contain the hashes. It's the files being shared that are illegal.
2. There is no known HTTP links for such old episodes. Yes, there are HTTP links for new releases, but I don't think there are any for older episodes. HTTP links uses a lot of bandwidth and people can't afford it.
3. Use torrents or IRC.
4. Please look at pinned threads.
5. Thread closed.
On a side note, those stupid ISPs in Singapore are now sort of limiting BT bandwidth or something. My downloads have been crawling at 5 kbps <_<. There's an uproar (or sort of) over at Hardwarezone forums… XD
