No way that one of those 6 is the mastermind, in chapter 5 it was revealed, thanks to Kirigiri's plan of having Naegi distract Monobear, that while Monobear is out no one is looking through the cameras so someone must be controlling Monobear in a room( hell it might be what is behind that monobear door) and can't look at the cameras while controlling him so that means the mastermind can't be in the same room where Monobear is talking to everyone.
! Oh and the Junko=Mukuro theory got even higher with the only 16 students are in the school thing.

I was really sad with chapter 2 trial ending, then even more with chapter 4 trial ending, if this keeps up this last chapter will be the worst.

All caught up now. I have to say, Chapter 4 is probably my favorite. That was… a perfect chapter.

It is kind of hard to separate all the chapters in a way, just because every one focuses on a different group of characters and they're all good

Ch 3 is probably the weakest due to a sort of fizzled out end, but it's so goofy it's hard not to dig it.

The latter half of the game is kind of a rollercoaster and it feels like while the first three cases are individuals, the latter cases really comes together as a cohesive thing. Probably because

! The student body barely fluctuates at all so we're given more time with them as one single group.

I agree, the whole thing is great throughout (though Chapter 3 is the weakest so far, IMO), but…

! Nobody can convince me otherwise. Sakura is the best. I've got a soft spot for most of the characters, but nobody tops Sakura.
! To further elaborate, while Chapters 1 and 2 were godly, none of them even came close to the emotional rollercoaster that was Chapter 4 for me. I was already pretty torn to bits by the fact that Asahina probably finished the job (a mutual mercy killing was my guess), but Asahina's resolve (though it was a little silly to drag Naegi and Kirigiri down with them) and Sakura's suicide note were devastating. I didn't think much of Sakura beyond "oh, I like this one best for silly reasons": I liked her design, liked her gimmicky caricature, but as she developed more and more, the silly reasons became solid, substantial reasons. It was pretty great. I mean, everything's great, but Sakura… is brilliant. That's all.

Yeah I agree on the chapter 3 thing, I still don't know if we are meant to take the culprit motive seriously.

I hope some free time events show some other side of that because that person ended that chapter being a huge dick, well that could be point I guess, not all the characters must have "good" reasons for murder.

! Okay, so there are two baddies, which I did consider. Or maybe one has died already and the other is still around controlling things.
! When Hagakure's locker first opened, I kind of thought Hagakure was the mastermind because everything looked so neat and tidy, like he'd been protecting it all the while. I also don't want Asahina, Kirigiri, or Naegi to be the mastermind :P Fukawa clearly isn't, and Togami would be too obvious.
! Also, I'm a bit worried about what Kiri-chan's getting up to all on her own in the headmaster's office. It kind of seems strange that she suddenly asked Naegi to leave her all alone in a room they had just discovered, although it's also understandable if she's shaken up. Maybe she saw something in the room that would have revealed something to Naegi, so she asked him to leave before he could notice.
! If Kiri IS the mastermind, I hope we at least get a major freakout expression from her during the reveal. XD

! -All the characters went to school and had a normal school life there
-Something happened to outside world(the most despairing event maybe?)
-The headmaster and 16 students locked themselfs in the school to preserve hope
-But two of those students were part of SHSL Despair and killed the headmaster
-They removed the memories of the students of everything that happened after they entered the school for the first time.
-The game begins
! Yeah im going with Mukuro(who then became Junko who was betrayed later for some reason) and the real Junko being those Despair members.

So if you have lurked on SA for some time now you would know that like a couple times a year you can't acess the forums if you aren't a member and we are at that time of the year so you can't check the thread for now, but don't worry if I remember right it should only last a week or a month at max(Startshock12 should know since he has a account there so he should be able to correct me on this if im wrong) so don't freak out(think of waiting for weekly or monthly manga chapter but with more content!!!).
Speaking of freaking out it looks like some places like tumblr are going crazy because of this and I hear its pretty funny some of the reactions.

Yeah, the paywall should be temporary from what they're saying. It'll either last for a week minimum or up until the start of November. The paywall does work, we've already had newly registered accounts confirmed throughout the thread, and I'm glad that people are wising up to support the forums who're hosting this LP and its massive traffic (excluding the silly Tumblr folk who are angry to the max, but be wary when looking it up. Tumblr is notorious for posting spoilerific content under the "Dangan Ronpa" tag.)

Anyway, at the pace that orenronen is going, you can expect to have a lot of updates to read through once the paywall is gone. And that alone is going to be so worth it. I'm heavily considering waiting it out with you guys even with having an account.

Yeah a friend of mine also told me that the SA forums people are also being dicks to the tumblr people now but that's SA forums I guess(no offense to you its just my lurking over the years have made see that forum have some mean people sometimes, one reason I don't want to get a account there, but that depends on the thread really but I guess the DR thread doesn't escape that sometimes).

Oh yeah and there was that time where oren went to japan for two weeks so im gonna just going to pretend its that again and it should be good waiting.

I agree, IceBorg. I've only lurked in the SA forums for a month or so before getting an account (mainly because of the DR thread, ahaha). I've found out shortly afterwards how some users (but not all) in the SA forums can be very self-centered. But that comes in the territory; it's rare to stumble into any kind of high-traffic forum that has a clean slate, and SA is no exception.

! Oh to be sure. The theory was so off the wall at the beginning that it could only really have been started by someone who accidentally spoiled him/herself (that's how I felt like when it was first mentioned, but then opted for dismissal), but I have a hard time believing all of the people who started digging up evidence for Junko's real face were guys like that. And as far as the people who didn't know for sure but still stuck with the theory go, I think they're allowed to feel a little bit smug after this reveal. :P

People in the PYF forum events thread seem to think that this paywall going up now is intentional, but who knows. It does sound like a thing Lowtax would do, but I think Choo's in charge of that and he's a nice guy, so. They are supposed to rotate randomly.
