OK, let me re-phrase that. Smoker is the 2nd most popular character who has been officially shown post time skip and doesn't have a Sailing Again POP (The first is in fact Hancock if you don't count the Ver. BLUE!!). If you're talking about characters in general then you could argue that Ace is the most popular not to have one!

Plus Marco (12) and Shanks (14) would come ahead of Crocodile I'm afraid

Well, I didn't count Marco and Shanks because the latter has 3 POPs already (a SW one laughs despite not even being in the movie, how silly is that? :P) and Marco at least got his MAS release. While not Sailing Again POPs, that does count for something. Meanwhile I have to keep looking at the DX Crocodile and that awful deformed face …. why oh why did you do that to me Megahouse … is it too much to ask for another Crocodile? haaa~ T_T thank gods, I still have you pats scultures Crocodile

Well the one Shanks he was talking about was the marineford version i guess?
Crocodile disappeared after the battle, so i don't see why we should get a figure of him, same for Marco (i wanted the MAS until i heard people complaining about the peg breaking and stand not keeping him straight)
Shanks have a high chance of getting something new since he is the one most likely to appear soon.
But seriously Megahouse do they really even care about the poll…

Of course they care….....they want to make money, and whilst not directly influenced by the poll results, they will have focus groups and market research that consistently suggest that Luffy, Ace, Law, Nami and Hancock have the biggest fans bases and therefore the most lucrative to produce figures of...........whilst the likes of Ivankov for example, has fewer fans so there'd be little profit and therefore little incentive in making him.

It's straight economics at the end of the day. All we can do is hope Oda makes a big deal out of some of the less popular characters to boost their popularity!! Buggy! Buggy!

Megahouse couldn't have thought their Crocodile was that bad as they re-released the same sculpt with just a minor colour change less than 2 years ago….....unlike Blackbeard who got an entire new head sculpt, but yeah, i'm sure once we seem him again we may well get a new figure!

I think they are doing it wrong,the matter to me is rather the quality and how a character is portrayed than the fanbase of this character.
I'm sure people would buy Ivankov if he were well done and a good scale that makes him easy to ship SAL.(or at least he looks so fabulous that people overlook the ems shipping)
The major problem here is not that they makes tons of Nami for the male audience money because they know they likes those kind of figures,but they don't give alternative characters aside of those, i understand the matter is money for a company, but it's also important to keep the fidelity of those buyers too.
If Megahouse gives different characters panel aside of the popular one they will be able to gauge the feedbacks.
And also there is some people who likes more to complete a set than getting only the good or their favourite.
There is so many options, they must take in account all the factors too.

CP9, Sadie, Sengoku, Bon, even Corozon!….......so I think they have gauged feedback, and whilst a large number of us die hard fans are clamoring for them, the vast majority couldn't care less it seems :sad:

They did it at the beginning, they even remake the neo line for the sake of new fans, and re-release to please everyone, i know that Megahouse did great already, but admit that they got focus more and more on the fanservice than giving more different characters.

For example, i'm really wanting Brook human version, however they rather give a fonkey donkey version, or something like that, you have to admit that they recently made more mistakes with their release than hitting the spot.
And because they didn't made much money with their own decisions they decided to put most of all their release exclusives.
This year there was only 5 POP that wasn't exclusive, if i remember well, Zoro 10th, Sabo,Koala,Sugar and Viola.The rest is ,whitebeard renewal & CBR renewals with Brook as a new character, all the rest is exclusive to megatrea shop, and people have to pay so much to get them.
If we compare to 2014 there is a big difference in term of exclusive and regular release, so the question is do megahouse really care about the overseas anymore? do they feel like it will only worth it by making this line "up to order" did they drop the idea of re-release once and for all? is the MAS line dead? will they try hard enough to open more and more the panel of characters? or will we just get each month the same characters in swimsuits, different colors?

There is so much to do but megahouse stop trying, that is my feeling toward this line.

Film Z POP serie was a big disappointment thought they had so many opportunity, it feels so sad to have only half of the crew…meh
Indeed there is the upcoming movie and i hope there will be a full line offered this time and not just making Nami in all her pose cross fingers
I deserve a POP break too, i will use this opportunity to hunt those i've missed for the past 2 years xD

Every movie all the company jump upon it and release figures, from the tiny straps to the big scale, i have no doubt they will milk the movie to the max, if only they do it the right way like strong world, not like film Z scale wise!

a wink to the BB line cause it's just funny how megahouse did so much effort to give 4 girls in this line in such little time!
