I played this Tenchi game by accident the other day….now I'm all in love with it again. Man, the good old days like 4 years ago or something when it was on Toonami (when Toonami was still good). Great stuff, I wish I had recorded it. It didn't seem like much was edited except some language and of course nudity, but other than that...I'm not sure.

Anyway, my favorite character in the series and always will be is Washu, #1 genius of the universe! Whoo! Yeah, Washu was always the best.

The thing that always annoyed me is, six women all love Tenchi and he never makes a move on ANY of them ever....he's like the luckiest guy in the world and blew the ultimate chance. What a moron. >_>

I liked Muyo and Universe equally, but I hated Tokyo with a passion and this new one looks really crappy too. >_>

Anime Master

Techi was the first anime I liked that I realized what it was (SpeedRacer owns).
Kagato in OVA was the most kick ass villian in all anime. He had a frickin organ! I loved Nobiyuki. He owns. The manga is good too. Cant wait for the second OVA to get to the states

Makoiryu

Tenchi stuff…rocks.

I just bought the DVDs of Muyo and Universe. Great buy. My favorite was also Washu. Who the hell doesn't love her? Well and Kagato. Kagato=badass.

Shakushi

Kagato in OVA was the most kick ass villian in all anime.

Thirded after Makoiryu. Kagato ruled. The Soja ruled. I bought the limited edition silver boxset of Muyo and have to say I also like Misaki. :laugh:

Irresistiblement

Just out of curiousity because it currently slips my mind - what is the name of the new Tenchi series that is in the works? Its rumoured that he will finally choose a girl- whoo!

Of course, it will be Ryoko, because she is the best thing ever.

Makoiryu

Damn, the last episode of Muyo on my DVDs is glitched and got cut off after 6 minutes >_<

Kagato was the MAN!

But whatever happened to the Third OVA? I know they came out with some new episodes of it, but have not heard much about it for awhile now. The Third OVA was supposed to focus on the war between the three goddesses (Washu, Tsunami, and Tokimi) with Tenchi in the middle of it.

SPOILERS
I think in the Third (?) Tenchi movie, which was in the same "universe" as the TV series, it strongly hints that he ends up choosing Ryoko. Tenchi gets imprisoned in an alternate universe by this female alien connected to his grandfather. Tenchi basically lives with her and she uses her powers to force him to love her and forget his past life. The only vague thing he can remember from reality was an image of Ryoko that he just kept painting even though he had no idea who/what she was. Eventually, she's the person that is able to break into this universe and get him to remember his former life.
