If you change the type of match into stock, that can stop the constant dying and returning.
As for having specials to win. I don't mind it really. Helps add to characters movesets and gives everyone an even playing field. Even if you're a slow character like Big Daddy you can still contend with quicker characters like Raiden if you play your cards right.
I just like the game. It's not the best game in the world, but it is a really fun game to play in a group.

that goes for a lot of fighting games… and i didn't know about that since i didn't get to choose the options.. i just played it..
and to me, the game is okay.. it just seems like a bootlegged version of ssb.. the feel for it just doesn't do it for me.. idk..

You'd have to be an insanely good Big Daddy to handle a normally good Raiden. The game is not that balanced.

Recently played as both Zeus and Isaac Clarke and I'd have to say that they really outdid themselves woth the two.
Zeus is slow, but his AP gain is…god-like. Not to mention he has priority over most moves and can charge each of his moves to make it more powerful.
Isaac is like a cross between Ratchet/Jak and Colonel Radec. He uses a multitude of weapons, but relies a lot on guns. He can attack at a distance and slow character down with a single move.
I can't wait to see what future DLC characters hold in store. -

I bought this game a month or two ago. Me and a buddy played it for awhile, and then we came to the conclusion that this game suffers from what most new age fighters suffer from… Not enough content.
