They put up some great deals, would have loved to grab a couple but were already sold out. There are also a couple I bought at release and could have saved alot had I waited.

No problem guys! Yeah, gutted myself about Beckman! Should have waited it out. That's why i've decided not to make the same mistake with Shiryu. Will get him 7-8 months later for half the price hopefully.

This is very true at the moment. Especially with the yen so favourable. I mean technically I'm only saving 1,000 yen, but with the exchange I'm actually saving the equivalent of over 2,000 compared to November!

Looks like that price for Kid appealed to a lot of people, he's sold out. Admittedly it was about £18 cheaper than I can even get locally, but still too much for a pre-time skip character who'll probably get a new POP in 2-3 years time. I'm happy with my Kung Fu Point
I need to get up earlier, HS put up an item last night I would have loved to buy but sold out. These sales are making me sad lol. Atleast I got Sanji before he sold out.
The joke is the items I bought on release are still available on sale and the things I didn't buy on release to wait for a sale or couldn't afford all sold out before I could see them. >:/

Yeah, I'm not sure about Law (I think he'll get snapped up), but I expect to see a half price Shiryu, Teach 1.5 and possibly even Shanks & Roger, before the year is up. I still don't understand why they even bothered with a Sanji re-release.

No problem 1Up, Thanks at least for you honesty. I don't think anyone really expected you to be able to get him that much cheaper, but I think if you could match NY's price of 16,750 yen + 5,000 yen registered shipping, (about $230 USD) we'd be happy.

I told you that it would not be possible to easily beat NY and BIJ ! When it comes to limited items in local japan market, japan sellers are the most apropriate. Off course, 1UP is still one of the most affordable shop when it comes to One Piece stuff in general ^^
That said, what i don't understand is that everywhere else in the world, an international version is available and absolutely not limited unlike in japan… Animarket for exemple offer a very decent price ( same price or so as NY) and they are based in Honk Kong if i'm not wrong. On the contrary, the european shops offer insane prices going from 200e to 250e shipping excluded.
The only mystake i made is to preorder him in late december and now the YEN lost so much of its value vs euros
I paid it 200e (22500Y shipping included) but now 22500Y= less than 180e... But, it could have been the oposite so no regrets

I was referring to Nippon-Yasan. You usually get a better rate if you choose to purchase in your own currency. Helps to avoid the nasty Paypal conversion.

As much as Hiromi has been a great help and whilst I appreciate all he does for us as collectors, that's still 575 yen more than NY and you'd need to pay in advance, therefore you wouldn't benefit from the continued fall of the yen in July.
The one thing I would say for Hiromi is he's fair when it comes to shipping weights. At places like HS a 1,000g figure is suddenly a 1,500g box once packaged, but with Hiromi, you pay close enough to the actual figure weight as he tries not to over pack with unnecessary packing materials, so his shipping for Franky may be a little less.

Well I guess if you ain't getting Franky in I might get him instead…....we'll have to see though as $91 is a bit more than 8,000 yen, more like 8,500. AmiAmi should have him up for 6,460 JPY and shipping will likely be less than 2k.

Yeah, 2 things bother me though, a) how popular will he be, will he sell out or be another shelf warmer on sale? Shiryu is already back up at AmiAmi, b) How low is the Yen going to have dropped by July?
The fact that the recent shanks FAZ sold out everywhere and is going for more money already on Manda may be a clue to how a Shanks POP will sell. I would assume he will sell fine but you never know. Personally I'm passing, Franky is enough in one month and I like shanks but not really enough to buy a POP.

Today i tried to buy a figure from Nippon yassan and the price were in euro my currency, when i went to the paypal page it shows it in yen and i laughed at it because the price in euro that paypal showed is 4 euro more than the total i had in euro on nippon yassan page, i don't know if it's a deal between them or if it's actually paypal fault or whatever but i don't like this at all, because that will mean all my orders with them will be change in yen and the price will pumped up

Did you place the order in euro? You should be charged in the currency you order is in. When I ordered Chopper DX I chose USD and paid in USD.
Maybe it's different with in-stock items.

I always choose Euro currency so yeah, and i bought item in-stock and they were charged in my currency so why now they charge it in theirs ?

When you pay with paypal in yen or whatever other currencies exept the one from your country, paypal take a small percent for the transaction, it's normal. If you pay by credit card, it will be the same result but you will loose even more money !
That's why before order, you need to go in your paypal account and search for the "currency converter" it will give you the paypal real rate currency and you can see the difference between the price in your cart and the real price you will pay !
I'm not sure you can pay in an other currency than yen at nippon yassan thought…
